“Nice but parking was not good. Clerk could have been friendlier and more informative.” Jun 2, 2009 by
Clay from Galena,MO
“Nice, clean but the locations a little inconvenient, parking is difficult in larger vehicles.” Feb 25, 2009 by
Becky from Olathe,KS
“The Cosmopolitan Fayetteville, formerly the Radisson, is situated in downtown Fayetteville near the University and historic areas. The decor is outdated, though there are plans to renovate and redecorate in the future. If their plans come to fruition, it's going to be a very modern, lovely hotel when they are finished. However, as they have not begun these yet, the facilities are old and, though in decent repair, not as nice as I expected. Sleep Number beds are in the rooms, but they don't seem to function very well. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Internet and parking are both free. The parking facility is actually a city parking deck. There is no walkway from the hotel directly into the parking deck. You must exit the hotel and walk down a dark street to get to it. It is also not monitored.” Feb 10, 2009 by
Joe from Boonville,MO
“In its hay day I'm sure is was a great hotel, but it is an aged facility in need of an upgrade. This hotel lacked a lot of simple maintenance.” Aug 19, 2006 by
Keith from Fort Smith, AR
“If you want to stay near the University, this hotel is great. It is walking distance to all the restaurants on Dickson street and to the University itself. The only problem is the air conditioner. It is very noisy and goes on and off at night preventing you from getting a good nights sleep.” Aug 10, 2006 by
Pete from Fort Smith, AR
“I stayed at this hotel because of a wedding I was attending. I was promised a queen-sized bed in a non-smoking room, but got a room that had obviously been smoked in several times (burn marks all over), had 2 full-sized beds rather than a queen, and the A/C could not keep the room cooler than 80 degrees. The hotel claims it has a "Yes I can!" slogan/policy, and they do! After politely requesting a different room, a room more satisfactory for the price they were charging, I repeatedly got a "Yes, I can -- for $20-40 more!!!". I have never experienced the level of rudeness that this staff provides its clients. It's blatantly obvious that nooned there enjoys their job and has no incentive to not pass on their miserable existences In addition, the room was nice and hot since the A/C was so old, the mattresses should have been replaced 15 years ago (they looked and felt like antiques), the door knob fell off on the bathroom door, causing my girlfriend to be locked in the bathroom for over 30 min until maintenance could finally arrive, and the television reception would have been better if it had an old "rabbit-ear" antenna installed. As someone in another review pointed out -- the nicest parts of this hotel are its location and lobby. Skip this one unless all you plan to do is crash for a few hours after partying all night on Dickson street.” Jul 16, 2006 by
Jason from Fayetteville, AR
“We just needed a place to stay and this Radisson was okay, the staff acted as if we were a problem for getting there late and the room was musty smelling.” Jul 13, 2006 by
Denise from Jonesboro, AR
“Although the location is great, close to the downtown restaurants, bars, and a very short drive to UofA. The rooms need to be updated, the furniture was worn out, scratched, shabby. Holes in wallpaper. Dirty under bathroom sink. The pool was closed for "painting" in the middle of summer???” Jul 11, 2006 by
Tami from Springfield, MO
“The hotel staff was very young and not real professional but they were extremely nice. The business room and use of the computer was very nice. The room was great. The swimming pool was not what it appeared on the internet picture, the water was milky looking and it was not very appealing. Seems like I am complaining but our stay was very nice.” Jun 23, 2006 by
Paul from Arlington, TX
“Not recommended for families. Staff not attentive, pool may or may not be working, even if you inquire.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 11, 2006 by
Deborah from Battlefield, MO
“The lobby was nice and the staff seemed a little unsure of their responsibilities Housekeeping was slow to clean the room. it was after 4:30 before they made up the room. the pool area was dirty and no towels were available I was very disappointed in the hotel, this was not like the other 3 1/2 star hotels I have stayed in before. it was more like a 1 or 1 1/2 star hotel.” Jun 3, 2006 by
Vikki from Cotter, AR
“I was expecting so much more from a Radisson! The lobby was beautiful and we were thrilled when we walked in to check in. That is where it ended! I was completely ignored by check in staff and had to ask to be helped after standing there for 5 minutes. Our room was very outdated and the bathroom looked like it was under construction. The pool was dirty and NOT heated. My husband even looked for a net to clean the bugs out with but couldn't find one. Overall, very disappointing for a 3 star hotel. Next time we'll stay at a Motel 6!!” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 21, 2006 by

“I would in no way say this was a 3 star hotel. I would give it 1 star. Very out of date. The bathroom was not clean. There were things left in the room from the previous guest. I would not stay here again.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 17, 2006 by
Raymond from Cotter, AR
“Room dirty, staff not interested, facility in need of remodel, restaurant poorly staffed with limited hours and selections. This is not a three star hotel.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 10, 2006 by
Bill from Pocola, OK
“In its heyday this was the place to stay in Fayetteville. However, this Grand Old Dame' is getting long in the tooth. The original A/C remains from opening day 25 years ago and we had to call unmaintained @ 3:00 a.m. to make it work. We were on the 7th floor and had to go to the 12th floor to get to the ice machine. I made the reservation 36 hours in advance and requested a non-smoking King Bed on a higher floor. I was assured I'd receive my request. Upon presenting to the hotel the front desk clerk I'd spoken to 36 hours earlier said he couldn't fulfill my request so we had a non-smoking room with twin beds on a mid-level floor. I will always remember the Radisson, formerly the HILTON, but I'll try to avoid future stays there.” Apr 3, 2006 by
Jack from Omaha, NE
“The lobby is the best thing about the hotel. It didn't have adjustable beds and high speed internet. It was an average stay.” Mar 20, 2006 by
Boyd. from Hoffman Estates, IL
“If you did not know the area, you might be a little concerned about safety. This is compounded by high rise parking even though only 200 or 300 feet to the lobby. The hotel is 2 or 3 miles from the expressway. I would stay there again.” Mar 20, 2006 by
Brad from Dallas, TX
“If you don't mind being greeted by the maintenance men who act like they know everything and lean on the check-in desk and answer questions before the clerk can, then this is your place. Oh, and it took two of them to change a light bulb right in front of me. They put me on the top floor, smoking, because I wanted internet bizarre. When I opened my sliding door, my socks were soaked because the carpet by the air-conditioner and door and under the desk was soaked, the maid didn't come up until after 3 pm. I appreciate all the road-signs getting to "the Radisson", thank you. It seems as though this was the only 'decent' 3 star hotel in the area. They need to upgrade this hotel, it's dark, drab, not romantic at all.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Mar 18, 2006 by
Janice from Jonesboro, AR
“Clean, well decorated. Pleasant staff. Parking in nearby garage.” Mar 8, 2006 by
Jeremy from Springfield, MO
“Overly friendly staff that couldn't manage to get things accomplished. Room decor that looked like it was straight out of a 70's porn film. Thank god the location is great, because you'll want to spend as little time in your room as possible.” Feb 23, 2006 by
Natasha from Hackett, AR
“For the most part, I liked this hotel. The bed we had kept trying to malfunction (sleep number) and the bathroom was smaller than the picture I had seen, but it was easy to stay nice and warm in the room. The comforter and sheets were very soft and cozy. The room had easy access to vending and room service was available.” Jan 18, 2006 by
Robin from Parsons, KS
“When the remodeling is finished it might be nice. I think they gave us the old area that they were working on. I would not return! ” Jan 4, 2006 by
Carol from Dallas, TX
“They promise sleep number beds and high speed Internet, but only a few rooms have these amenities. Be sure to ask for them. The fitness facility and pool area are very dated as is much of the hotel. The staff is comprised of young people (college students) who are not very friendly and gave the feeling that they were doing us a favor.” Aug 21, 2005 by
Jc from Keller, TX
“Great location. The hotel needs to be updated. The carpet is old and dirty. The rooms smell old if you do not have the air on full blast. Some of the staff were nice, but for the most part they are young and rude. I did get a great price ” Aug 12, 2005 by
Carol from Bel Air, MD
“The people were great, although they seemed overwhelmed by a lot of guests checking in on Wednesday. The room was not as nice as we would have expected, although they did address many of our concerns during the week we were there.” Aug 10, 2005 by
Paul from Williford, AR
“Overall this is a very nice hotel and I would stay there again if in the Fayetteville area.” Aug 8, 2005 by
Tom from Albert Lea, MN
“Restaurants special was very good. Got a call from the Restaurant about the special and tried it and was pleasantly suprised as to how good it was. Walking distance to many other restaurants. In-door out-door pool was convenient as was excercise room. Would have been nice to have wireless internet service however. Excercise room had several pieces of equipment but only a couple worked satisfactorily.” Jul 28, 2005 by
Matt from Evans Mills, NY
“A great location in the center of Fayetteville, but I was a bit disappointed with the room. It was dark, musty, and the matresses were horrible and spongy. The staff was good, but couldn't make up for a lot of the hotel's faults. The bad visit was topped off with the delivery of the wrong meal for breakfast. All in all, not worth the money, I would have gotten a nicer room at the Best Western.” Jul 18, 2005 by
Michael from Skiatook, OK
“The hotel was very nice except for parking. We have a 3/4 ton truck and the only parking is in a small parking garage. It was very difficult to get into.” Jul 18, 2005 by
Pam from Ashland, KY
“Great stay. Beautiful location.” Jul 4, 2005 by
John from Tulsa, OK
“Would suggest this hotel, has everything you need.” Jun 20, 2005 by
Benjamin from Longview, TX
“Hotel was clean but the staff seem to busy to take the time to answer questions. Room was nice enough, but bathroom needed work. Mildew was in the bath tub and wallpaper was coming off walls.” Jun 18, 2005 by
Angela from Ft Smith, AR
“The lobby was very impressive, our room was a good size with comfortable chair for reading.” Jun 12, 2005 by
Chris from Bryant, AR
“My expectations of a 3 star hotel were not met at this Radisson. I fully expected the hotel to offer more amenities and for the overall quality of the hotel to be higher than what it was.” Jun 9, 2005 by
Johnda from Swartz Creek, MI
“Van driver pick-up and arrival was great. Check-in was challenging. The room was dirty - my original specified room "was not clean at time of check-in, so they gave me a clean room - ha!"Cheerios, peanuts around the beds. Bathroom was yuck. But hey, the DSL did not work, empty kleenex box, and AC that could not cool the room below 82 were even better. Front desk staff did have me come downstairs for a new box of kleenex. This is a dirty 4 star hotel with a 2 star staff.” May 29, 2005 by
Bill from Dallas, TX
“Best location for downtown Fayetteville business. Restaurant staff for breakfast was one person, so you can imagine the service was slow and not great. Very good breakfast buffet.” May 24, 2005 by
Alicia from Shawnee, KS
“I would not consider this a 3 star hotel. What hotel does not have high speed internet these days. My trip was very unproductive work wise.” May 16, 2005 by
Thom from Sierra Vista, AZ
“the location was the best - close to the university. friendly staff.” May 10, 2005 by
Lori from Russellville, AR
“The Radisson is a beautiful hotel located within close proximity to many activities and attractions.” May 10, 2005 by
Robert from Edmond, OK
“I would give this an average review for the quality of hotel and for the pricing” Feb 19, 2005 by
Mari from Franklin, TN
“I would never stay here again, I left my pillow in the room and cannot even get a call back to return it!!!!I left two voicemails for housekeeping, someone named lawana and no response!! Not the service I am accustomed to.” Feb 17, 2005 by
Mark from Rowlett, TX

“The Radisson is a convenient location for a visit to the University. Price points are significantly higher than other hotels in the area with no complimentary breakfast. There are a few surrounding eateries within walking distance.I would not stay there again.” Jan 24, 2005 by
Kenneth from Seneca, MO
“The Hotel is an excellent getaway, or business spot. The staff is so accomodating and the location for Fayetteville can't be beat.” Jan 20, 2005 by
