• Elizabeth at front deck is the best, did every thing asked.
• The guests with dogs didn't pick up, but Elizabeth did.

• The breakfast buffet was convenient and provided a good variety of foods.
• The elevator was hot. Even late at night.

“This is a nice, clean hotel. It consists of a number of buildings around a central pool area. Rooms open to covered walkways, there are no indoor hallways, so it can be rather warm getting to your car in the summer. I had a suite, with a small living room with a love seat, desk, television, microwave, and refrigerator, in addition to the standard bedroom and bathroom. The room was air conditioned, clean, and quiet despite being directly opposite to the elevator. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fine, and very convenient. As I was in the area to attend a meeting nearby, I didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel. It served its purpose (a place to sleep and get ready for the next day) perfectly.”

• Only a 2 minute or less ride to the airport. Quiet location. Friendly staff.
• Room carpet needed cleaning. Cigarette smoking guests. Housekeeping came in without knocking or calling.

• The breakfast buffet varied with lots of choices.

“Country Inn Suites by Carlson was located close to the Ontario Airport. The lobby was warm and welcoming with fresh apples and cookies in the lobby. The staff was kind and helpful; however, special requests often take time as there was generally only one or two people working at the front desk. Some of the breakfast items were not of the highest quality, however, there were plenty of choices.”

• Extra pillows were available in the closet. Bed was very comfortable.
• Rooms need updating. New paint job, better light and TV's.

• The towells were super fluffy!
• Refrigerator didn't work at first. Had to call maintenance, who told me how to fix it.

• Laundry room, internet, shower, overall room.

“If you are staying for one night this might be okay. Any longer nights and this is not the hotel to stay at. The rooms are small, and the internet WiFi is slower than anything. If it could be compared to a snail racing a rabbit, the snail would win. The experience I had was awful. Would never stay at this hotel again.”

• Staff was very helpful, friendly and attentive.
• Window air conditioning unit didn't keep room cool.

“I think this motel would be ok for families traveling on a budget. The beds are just ok as far as comfort goes, the decor is pretty hideous and the air conditioning is aimed at the floor where it does nothing, but keep that small area of floor cold. I would definitely not call it upscale in any way, form or fashion. It seemed like a cheap motel to me.”

• Small suite and nice breakfast area.
• The air conditioner is in living room and it's hard for cold air to make it to bedroom, a little warm for sleeping.

“Very close to the convention center. There was lots of variety at the breakfast and a staff person was on hand at all times attending to the area. The air conditioner in the living room is not adequate to cool the bedroom in the summer in Ontario. This is just a poor design which I've seen in other hotels unfortunately.”

• Breakfast was great.
• Bed was a little on the hard side they say whole place is non smoking but still have smoking signs up.

“It was nice. Beds were a little hard and for a suite I am always amazed at a little love seat. Really. How can more than 1 person relax on a love seat. Breakfast was good but the reception hour that includes drinks at other places was meatballs and soda. Thought that was a little weird. They had you sign something saying you would not smoke there or they would charge you but still had all the signs up saying were designated smoking areas were. I would stay there again for travel probably not for vacation.”

“The staff at this hotel is wonder. They really make you feel at home. They try to accommodate you in every way. They were however, not able to give me a fully functional TV, even after a room switch.”

• Loved the separate living room with 2 TV's and larger fridge.
• The magnetic key goes void immediately if you use it incorrectly & you'll need to go to the lobby.

“This is an older hotel, but otherwise comfortable and clean inside and out. There is evidence of current efforts to remodel the rooms, which is needed. The staff was friendly and the property is well maintained. I would stay there again.”

“The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The maid had folded the towels and toilet tissue in very creative ways. It was a nice surprise. We enjoyed that they had both a social hour and provided breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was important as we had an early flight out that day. The hotel was close to the airport which was helpful.”

• EXCELLENT courtesy shuttle service!
• Room was too narrow or small for the price I paid.

“I think the room I got was too small for the price I paid. I would like to recommend that an extra blanket should be left inside the closet. The location and staff was excellent and the courtesy shuttle service was too.”

• Bedroom and living room were comfortable and clean.
• Bathroom was in poor condition with tub shower area peeling. Needs remodel.

• It was very convenient location so close to airport.
• The room felt cramped because of addition of the small living room space which tool up most of the hotel bed area.

“The hotel was very well located and served the purpose of an overnight stay in order to catch a very early flight. The accommodations were okay, the bathtub was in need of replacement and there were few amenities like shampoo, coffee in the room etc.”

• Overall the staff was very friendly and receptive.
• Many TV channels had poor reception; poor shuttle pick-up from car rental.

“Overall the staff was very friendly and receptive to problems. Television reception was poor for most channels. The room and bathroom were kept neat and clean. I waited over an hour for the courtesy shuttle to pick me up after returning my rental car (located less than a mile away), so I finally paid for a yellow cab to take me back.”

“The staff was great and the room was very spacious. It was a suite with a kitchen. I expected a regular room for the price and was surprised to have the suite with a full size fridge, no need for ice. I was traveling alone but look forward to return with my family.”

• The shower/tub area needs to be replaced/updated.

• No problems.

• Wide selection of channels on T.V.
• Very small bathroom and room.

“Country Inn and Suites is the name, but somebody left out the word "Motel" in the name. I got a non smoking King facing the outside ledge/balcony. The room was small with a refrigerator and microwave next to the dresser. The bathroom was extremely tight, with the narrowest shower I've ever been in. At least the TV had a wide selection of channels and the lobby and dining area was pleasant.”

• There were lots of special touches. Decor was new and up-to-date. Very clean inside and out.
• I have no complaints and I stay in a lot of places.

“This was one of the most convenient, clean, friendly and value for the $ hotel that I have stayed in for a long time. Even the pool yard was spotless (and it's not even being used right now). The continental breakfast was more than just bagels, donuts and fruit. There was also a snack of tacos at 5:00 p.m., which was great!”

• Large room, nice kitchen, great location - close to airport!
• Didn't like that there was no air conditioning unit in the bedroom - just in the living room, with a fan to the bedroom.

“Very convenient to the airport. Very clean, nice size. Was only there for a quick night because I had an early flight so it was perfect for what I needed it for!”

• The separate sitting room.
• The room was very small and felt cramped.

“This hotel is located adjacent to the air port and is very noisy. The street in front of the hotel is very busy from early morning to late at night. I suggest that anyone using this hotel request the 3rd floor because noise from people walking above will keep you awake.”

• Close proximity to airport and restaurants. Easy in and out.
• Rooms were suites but were small. They tried to make an apartment out of a normal sized hotel room.

“Inn is priced right and convenient to airport and restaurants. It has an airport shuttle but I didn't use it. Social hour in the evening did not include cocktails. Rooms are suites with full kitchens and separate living area and bedroom but way to small to enjoy.”
