“Great price and easy to find. The staff is super friendly. Liked the breakfast choices. Room is clean and comfortable. Didn't care for freeway noise.” Sep 5, 2007 by
Monica from Temple City, CA
“The rooms are very roomy and clean! But if only look at outside most people will be disappointed because it's old and small also not very clean! But once check in to the room I was surprise how big and clean it was.” Aug 12, 2007 by
Kate from Bozeman, MT
“This hotel met and exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and well-appointed with a full-sized fridge, stove, microwave, and kitchen sink. The front-desk staff was very helpful and provided maps and driving direction. The cont. breakfast was great as well. My husband said that the cinnamon rolls were, indeed, wonderful and a staff member was always present during breakfast hours - cleaning the area and refilling the food items. I highly recommend this hotel.” Jun 7, 2007 by
Chris from Rancho Cucamonga, CA
“The room was clean & comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the continental breakfast was good & included hot food. The overall stay was well worth the price.” Dec 28, 2006 by
Barb from San Diego, CA
“It was convenient to our activity, very clean and spacious.” Dec 12, 2006 by
Carla from Kailua-Kona, HI
“The rooms are large, and there's a microwave and refer and couch, 2 TV¿s, and the bathroom/tub was rather large. However, the hotel is old, tacky and kind of dirty looking. Wouldn't stay there again.” Sep 4, 2006 by
Brian from Lancaster, CA
“The hotel is convenient to I-5 and close to shopping and the beaches. I expected higher quality accommodations from holiday inn express. We may be jaded because our stay started with many problems that were quickly corrected by the one staff person on-duty, to the best of her ability. I will try it again before crossing it off my list.” Aug 25, 2006 by
Svetlana from Danville, CA
“I needed two beds since I was traveling with my older son and the hotel personnel wanted me to pay extra $22 dollars to make a change. I have never experienced this situation before - we always had two beds for the same price as for one king size bed. It was my first experience and it was extremely poor.” Aug 16, 2006 by
Stacey from Woodland Hills, CA
“I was surprised by how large our room was! The four of us had plenty of space to move around the king size bed even when the roll away bed was open. The staff was very friendly, even brought us several extra towels while we were out by the pool. The breakfast was very good with a large variety of items: fresh fruit, cereal, eggs, bacon, juice, yogurt and amazing cinnamon rolls! The hotel is right down the street from Target, Wal-Mart, Chuck E Cheese and other family friendly restaurants so there are plenty of options at mealtime. It was less than 10 minute drive to Lego land and Carlsbad beaches and shopping. We were very happy with our stay. We did have a 2nd story interior room, so we did not notice the traffic noise in the room with the air on. Don't know if that would have been bothersome in another room or with the air off, but we were fine (room 209)” Aug 9, 2006 by
Faith from Long Beach, CA
“The Holiday Inn is located close to a major freeway, many restaurants, and shopping.” Jul 31, 2006 by
Gayle from Fresno, CA
“Good hotel for a family on leisure travel. 1 mile to beach. 2-3 miles to Lego land. Target, Vans and lots of restaurants nearby. Front and west side of building are exposed to Freeway traffic. Better to have an interior room or one facing the golf course on the north side.” Jul 22, 2006 by
Linda from Gilbert, AZ
“Hotel itself was clean, comfortable. Night clerk was very good and friendly but male day clerk was quite rude.” Jul 21, 2006 by
Jared from Mesa, AZ
“Just OK, maybe 1.5 star.” Jun 6, 2006 by
Jennifer from Corona, CA
“For the price, this is a great place to stay. The room was quite nice, with new furnishings, and very spacious. Our room was located in the middle of the hotel, and we did not hear the freeway at all. With those conditions, I would stay here again, without a doubt.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 31, 2006 by

“I have always had a great experience, but this trip... It was in the wrong area and I said 75.00 max.. and it gave me 100.00 They told me I messed it up, and had No customer service with me.. I canceled the hotel the day I booked it, and it was never canceled. My credit card was charged. I called again that day to make sure it is canceled before I was supposed to go, but I was put on hold for 22 minutes.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Mar 1, 2006 by
