  • Well kept, good location, comfortable and was convenient.
  • Exercise room is lacking.

“Nice hotel-motel configuration. Attractive grounds. Well kept interior. Nice people. Convenient to freeway and a short drive to lovely downtown Pleasanton. Good base for East Bay business trip. Hotel restaurant is decent, Faz. Better food than most hotels of this ilk.”

  • nice garden like grounds with flowing water; also lots of pillows on beds and lots of mirrors in room

  • Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
  • Roll away bed very uncomfortable but I guess that's to be expected.

“We arrived late with an extra quest, our teenage son. They were not able to give us a room with 2 beds, however they quickly provided a roll away bed for him. The staff was great.”

    I could ask for would be a bigger TV.

  • The spa is hot! Not tepid or lukewarm, hot!
  • There was nothing I didn't like.

“This is my favorite hotel to stay at. Comfortable, quiet, it gives me everything I want in a hotel and none of the things I don't want. The gym is nice, I love the treadmills with TVs with headphone jacks so you are not stuck watching someone else's program while you get in a little aerobic workout. I got to use the spa this time, and it was marvelous! Actual hot water in the hot tub. Felt great. I went back to my room and dried off and went to bed very relaxed.”

  • The room was large,
    quiet and comfortable. I was alone and I felt very safe.
  • No elevator.

“This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in and I travel. Not luxury but very clean, quiet and comfortable and easy to park and get around. No elevator though, so be prepared to haul your luggage up stairs.”

  • Why don't they tell you they charge you for smoking.

“They charged me 3 times for smoking without telling me. I only had candles so excuse me, I am taking this further as I am a very good customer and spend lots of time and money here but I guess they need more.”

  • Beautiful linen.
  • The toilet in our room overflowed from the top after 1 flush, we had to change rooms.

“Other than the toilet situation, it was great because they were able to move us to another great room. Love that it has a home feel to it with the linens and not the normal flower used looking decor.”

“Rooms were spacious and grounds were beautiful. We only stayed 1 night but if we had stayed longer it would have been nice to sit at one of the many outside tables and relax and enjoy the surroundings.”

  • There was a problem with the billing that the staff resolved in a constructive way.
  • There could be a second terminal for checking messages, with only one available there was a long wait.

  • The rooms have an outside balcony and are attractive.
  • The carpet was a bit musty and should be replaced.

“The staff was attentive and friendly. The room was modern and well furnished. The beds were comfortable. I liked the fact that you could order homemade pie and local beer. I also liked the TV channels and the fact that you could order the latest movies. I only wish that they had internet service. But it was a great stay overall!”

  • Staff at front desk a little cold-other staff nice.

  • Parking was great, you could park by your room.
  • Front desk said my card was denied - held me up an hr,. from check in. It was how it was being entered on their end.

“This is a great hotel! I could park my car where I could see it. There was plenty outside tables to have a cocktail - it had a nice atmosphere. Two downfalls - upon arrival my credit card was denied - it shouldn't have. An hour later it was determined how it was being entered into their system. Delayed me for a meeting I ended up being late for. I was given one key - so when I left I grabbed the envelope to discover upon my return was a business card for the restaurant. I called front desk from staff housekeeping and they couldn't locate someone to come open my door. I didn't have id on me to show at front desk for a new one. After 10 mines. housekeeping stepped in and let me in - and I volunteered my ID and card so they felt better about letting me in. Ten miss later someone shows up with new keys - which I did appreciate.”

“The hotel overall was good. I am a Star wood guest and it should not make a difference where I purchase the room. I understand that it does not qualify for points but it should not be a factor in check in. It is the 3rd time this has happened when I have done so.”

  • It's quite and the beds are nice.
  • The maid wakes you up.

“There's some crazy maid, or something like that, who calls the rooms that have do not disturb signs on them to ask if they want maid service. It's happened before at this hotel, so it could be a hotel policy. But who does that - what's the point of a do not disturb sign if the maid is going to call and wake you up and disturb you? Even if you tell the front desk you want no maid service, she still calls. And the front desk can't seem to figure out who in housekeeping to talk to, or how!”

  • The lobby area was clean and smelled wonderful, the bed was beyond comfortable!
  • Nothing.

“What a great deal I got. Everything at The Sheraton Four Points was perfect, the common areas had an apple pie scent, All the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect and I could have slept in the bed all day, the mattress was perfect and the sheets were so soft! Very easy location, right off the freeway.”

“Four Points should be considered a premier hotel. The staff was awesome in meeting and exceeding every expectation. The rooms are immaculate and well decorated and furnished.   • The staff were extremely friendly and the pool and garden area was beautiful.
  • My bathroom was dirty. The white floor had dirt on it, and was not cleaned from the last visitor. The bathroom looked cheap as well.

“I would stay at hotel again if in the same area. The addition of an elevator for the second floor guests is highly recommended. I was put in a room in the very last building on the property, which was quite a hike from the main desk. However, the clerk did give me a room with a wrap around balcony which had many chairs and a decent view. Update your bathrooms in the rooms.”

  • Room had musty smell, broken bathroom door handle and rust stains in the bathtub.

“Overall value for a place to sleep was ok and the location is in excellently located close to restaurants and shopping but the room had an unpleasant odor even when leaving the window open in an attempt to air it out. Unable to locate a housekeeper & no attempt by housekeeping to service the room during a 2 days stay. Not a 3-star hotel standard based on other hotels in the same area and far below the quality I found staying at this same hotel 3 months ago.”

  • Convenience, location and nice surroundings.
  • Food trays left in hallways overnight even though housekeeping was there.

“I've stayed at this Hotel before as my experience was always pleasant. It's a nice little getaway especially for the price. Can't wait till summer to take advantage of the inviting pool they have. I like the convenience of the Hotel to Bart and local transit since I take public transportation. I flew in from San Diego to the Oakland Airport, then getting onto Bart was a breeze. Anyway, lots to do in the area, especially Downtown Pleasanton with several shops and restaurants. If you wanted to go to SF, Bart takes you there. Overall, the hotel is kept up nice with water ponds and gardens on the premises.”

  • The landscaping was spectacular, luxurious throughout.
  • It didn't provide a warm breakfast, but they told us that.

“I would love to stay there again, but I don't know how to request a place like that. It had a firm bed (A+), big heavy pillows (A+), very clean, quiet, security was adequate, friendly courteous staff, and very easy to find off the freeway and back onto the freeway the next day.”
