• It had good security.
• The room was not very clean. There was garbage left from the persons before us on the floor by the bed.

“It was ok if our just want a place to sleep. It is not pet friendly so I had to have a friend keep my dog, which I don't understand because the room was not all that clean in the first place.”

• Convenient.
• Smelled like smoke!

“This hotel was ok except for the fact that someone must have been smoking in a nearby room or the rooms had been smoked in before. Not good if you're a guest who has allergies. But there's not much else to pick from in Maquoketa so.”

• Location is great, comfortable, lovely watercolors!
• Men outside our room smoking & drinking beer to wee hours.

• Clean and safe area warm feeling.
• Clerk gives no info about check out or breakfast.

“Hotel was neat and clean. Customers respected one another and welcomed everyone. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The staff needs work on informing the guest of breakfast times and check out time etc. Over all it's a nice place.”
