• Very close to the highway.
• The location of the pool is unattractive. Strong mildew smell in room.

“Appeared clean, but the room had a strong mildew smell to it. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location is good to highway and easy to get around.”

• Beautiful landscaping, very clean and tastefully-designed public lobby/front desk.

“This is a superior value: a 3-star hotel at a 2-and-a-half star price. Desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Our only regret was having to leave! If this is any indication of what other Country Inn and Suites are like, then we enthusiastically recommend this brand to travelers as a satisfying experience and superior value.”

• Comfortable beds, noon checkout time.
• Location of swimming pool.

“Hotel was nice and beds were comfortable. Room had small refrigerator and microwave. The pool was very small and was out front of the hotel, offering no privacy. We didn't use it.”

• Location to beach if you needed it is very good.

“If you are only interested in something close to one of the best beaches in the USA it is close. Rooms are in need of much repair and cleaning. Beds are not comfortable either. Good food and bars for the easy going with in walking distance. Wouldn't stay again. This was actually a test of the motel for me.”

• A lot for the price, beds comfortable, refrigerator and microwave in room.
• Carpet needed shampooing.

• Clean, good value, great service such as breakfast that includes in your stay.
• It may be little difficult to get into by car, the hotel is not on the main road, but behind some restaurants, or gas stations.

• Sheets on bed (poor quality - thin).

“Nice breakfast buffet included with room stay. Problem with wet floor in room when checked in - taken care of immediately -- very accommodating!”

• Quiet and noticed it's pet friendly.
• The sheets did not fit the bed correctly and with king size beds have 4 pillows not 3.

“Difficult to get to when not familiar with the area. The breakfast buffet was good and the food was hot. Will stay at another property when the price is right for re-tired people.”

• Excellent location, walking distance to Starbucks!
• Nothing really, all good.

“Very close to I-75 and a short drive to Downtown Sarasota. Walking distance to coffee and sub shops if needed. Very good breakfast. In-room fridge and microwave. I really like this chain (Country Inn / Suites), have had several good experiences with Florida locations.”

• Superb, clean breakfast.
• Location great for business (at interstate) but not near tourist area.

“The hotel was well maintained and reasonably priced for the quality. The hotel was well maintained, good quality room furnishings, friendly staff and an excellent fully stocked breakfast. Good wireless connections. Not really close to Sarasota downtown but convenient for hopping on expressway and plenty of stores and eateries nearby. Highly recommend the hotel.”

• Nice breakfast in a good location to Siesta Key.
• Terrible musty smell in room. I cleaned the AC and bought Lysol.

“This is a 1.5 star hotel. It has some nice amenities, but clearly is trying to clean up from being a smoking hotel. You can never get rid of it. Staff didn't change bed sheets as requested, but they did do it when I asked the hotel mgr to do it. Didn't care for the smell, but had to stick it out since I had paid for it already.”

• Free internet free breakfast little presents like a nice pen for my second stay.
• A little out of the way.

“For the price this is a great hotel. You could pay more for a hotel with more stars but you will continue to pay for parking breakfast internet etc. The rooms are comfortable the people are friendly there are plenty of restaurants within driving distance. The beach is 5 miles away. This was my second time staying at this hotel and they even left me a little present. It wasn't much but it was very thoughtful. This hotel is great.”

• The breakfast, eggs had no taste and were hard; the juice has a weird taste.

“My husband and I had a good time during the 2 days at the Country Inn And Suites Sarasota. Everything in the bedroom and the bathroom was clean; bed was comfortable and clean. It was a peaceful place.”

• Bad location, unfriendly staff and unclean room.

“Our general experience has been horrific with this specific location. I've stayed in Country Inn's all over US, but this is a disgrace to the franchise. Staff forgets the room door open, no apologies made for this of course. Desk clerk's personal belongings were found on our bed after the incident. Tubs drain backs up and other unpleasant surprises. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.”

• No hot water and a poor excuse about this - why wildfires 120 miles away?

“It was an overall nice hotel. However we had no hot water the entire stay and they stated it was because of the wild fires.”
