• None with the experience that I had.
• The staff was extremely rude and did not care about my stay.

“The floor of the room was soaking wet when I arrived and smelled extremely musty. First night was woke up by a cock roach crawling on me in bed. Informed front desk next morning and they were not concerned at all. In fact, the person acted as if I was annoying them. The next night, I was woke up by fire ants biting me. This time I took them to the front desk to show them to the front desk person and they made note and threw them away. There was no concern of how comfortable I was while staying at this property. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone!.”

• Nice lobby, good staff, decent location, nice ocean views..
• No computer access for guests at all
  needs a computer in lobby for guests.

“Overall, a decent hotel. Nice location with rooms having fairly good ocean views. Clean, modern lobby. Rooms were fair - good size, but small bathroom. I did not like the $5.00 per night parking charge, when there was no reason at all to charge for parking in the area where the hotel is. Staff was pleasant.”

“Stayed for the November Turkey Run. This hotel is way to far events, and the downtown cruisin area. The elevator took forever to come up and down. Just would not recommend to stay here. The staff was courteous, and room clean just didn't fulfill my expectations.”

• The staff was very helpful when we had a problem with our room.
• The lack of dining during daytime hours at pool, recommended a place across the street that was closed.

“The elevators in the hotel are very slow. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Some of the rooms could be updated, the bathroom area is very small and cramped in certain rooms. More convenient dining would help this hotel.”

• Used bath and body works soap and shampoo.
• Bad staff, bad pool, bad view.

“I asked for an ocean view room. My view was the tattoo parlor across the street and a palm tree! My 15 year old daughter was really impressed! I called the front desk to complain and the gentleman said he could move me to a different room but I would have the same view! Thanks! I went to the buffet to get my daughter a glass of apple juice and was told they should charge me $10.00. The cleaning staff was very friendly other than that I was very disappointed. I will not ever stay there again. I guess I was spoiled by the treatment I got at the Treasure Island Inn when it was in business.”

• The hotel was okay, just not 3 stars.
• The ice machine did not work on our floor. 3 floors up.

“The overall experience was good, just not 3 star. The elevators were not working as well as they should. The hotel bar was not staffed properly. We'd stay again, but not at the regular room rate.”

• Uncomfortable, hard bed. Elevators unbelievably slow.

• Our room had a wonderful view of the ocean. The pool area was fantastic and the beach area in front of the hotel was wonderful.
• The elevators are a little slow.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was very clean and the pool area was fantastic. It has a Tiki Bar area at the pool, showers, a large L-shaped pool & a kiddie pool. The beach in front of the hotel was wonderful as well.”

• The promptness of service is my highlight and the lobby coffee service is number 0ne.
• The charge for local phone use, even if no answer.

“From the prompt, friendly service at the front desk to the efficient room care, and poolside bar service, all I can say is "I can't wait to return!" The weather was not as sunny as expected, but your hotel made up for the sunshine. Many thanks to all your staff!”

• On the beach location, staff seemed to really try to please.
• Charged $5 for parking, $1.50 for safe per day.

“A good beach location. Pool area is nice and well maintained. Rooms were fine with small balconies with beach views. Staff was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay.”

• It was quiet from a room to room standpoint.
• The HVAC in this hotel may be some of the worst I have ever heard.

“They do not tell you that there is a $5.00 parking fee, which is just a way off for another 5 dollars, and watch the safe fee. The AC is really loud and goes on and off all night. Hot, cold, hot, cold, will not stay there again.”

• Restaurant was closed and saw the largest cockroach in my life in my bed.

“Why should I waste my time further. You never make adjustments to me the traveler when these hotels don't measure up. I am not a complainer, but I am complaining. I am currently seeking other services.”

• Hotel staff was very rude and always away from the front desk.

“Hotel in general was very nice. Not only we had problem when we checking in, but also when we need something they were always out somewhere watching TVs or talking on the phone (personal phone calls) so basically no one's there for help at the front desk. Elevator was very slow. Other than that pretty nice hotel.”

• The pool was great. Nice and large and even 9 feet deep at one end. It was clean and family friendly.
• I did not like to pay $5 per day to park & another $1.5 for a safe. Air con. had some sort of shut off when doors opened that was annoying.

“This was a beautiful hotel with lots of room. The beach area was nice and not so congested. There were hot tubs, kiddies pool and a super nice large pool that my kid loved. The breakfast staff was extremely nice. Daily maid service was nice and friendly. Poolside drinks and food was convenient but too expensive. More like resort prices or 5 star hotel pricing.”

• Great location right on a beautiful beach.
• Gem system!

“Renovated 35 year old building. Nice rooms, clean common areas and pool. Hot tubs were a bit old and seemingly not well maintained. Room A/C's controlled by what they called gem system where a motion sensor is used to determine if room is occupied. If the sensor determines no movement in the room (like when one is sleeping), the A/C is set to a thermostat setting determined by hotel management. Needless to say, this system made for 2 very poor nights of sleep. I will not stay in this hotel again.”

• Parking, deliveries at 7am small room.

“For a three to four star hotel I guess I expected too much. Parking was difficult, the room was very small, remote didn't work, and our room apparently was above the kitchen where deliveries began at 7 am. I had asked if I could change rooms when I first checked in because of the beds and was told nothing was available. The pool, hot tub and beachfront were nice but again not 3-4 star quality. The lobby at least was nice but who spends their time there?”

• Oceanside with nice pool.
• Room needs some fixes, lamp out, broken smoke detector, broken trim.

“The Acapulco was a clean but older hotel. Staff were very good, great serving and desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel has been remodeled and rooms are decent, although ours had a few broken item so maintenance is behind. Pool area and ocean front location are great. It's a smaller scale motel. Would stay here again.”

• Even though empty, hotel charged $5.00 per day for parking.

“After 4 hectic days at Disney World, we arrived at the Acapulco tired. We loved that the hotel wasn't full or crowded. The beach was beautiful with soft white sand and sea shells to find. The kids liked the pool and hot tub. Room had a nice ocean view. Went to sleep early and it was quiet, quiet, quiet all night, a plus since you never know with hotels.”

• Clean, great food and drinks, warm pool, childrens pool, quiet side of the beach. They let us check in early who was very nice and convenient.
• The restaurant downstairs does not offer room service and there was no valet.

“My only complaint is that it does not offer room service. Otherwise, it's a beautiful hotel.”

• Charge for parking and hot tubs were not HOT!

“Nice hotel, right on the beach! Also great pool, three hot tubs. They charge for parking -$5 per day, and they charge for the safe $3 a day, but I got the safe charges removed because we didn't use the safe. Otherwise it was a good experience!”

• Nicely decorated, comfy beds/room, right on beach.
• Restaurants not open on Sunday and Mondays.

“Pleasant surprise. Nicely decorated, upscale looking. Staff pleasant. Pool nice and warm. Beach has traffic though, which was rough and dangerous when playing with our grandkids. A bit of a drive to the restaurants, but keeps the area quieter.”

• Rooms small. They say ocean view and it is a balcony leaning over the side to you, left view to see the ocean.

“Hotel overall was okay. Dry wall was in the tub because it was leaking from the ceiling above. Small beds. No kings available at check-in would probably not stay here again.”

• The hotel was beautiful. It was clean, and the staff was very helpful and courteous.
• I looked at the breakfast buffet it was not appetizing.

“The hotel was clean and cheerful. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I left the charger for my toothbrush and they located it and is in the process of mailing it back to me. I would stay at the hotel whenever I go back to Daytona, FL.”
