“Great place to take a family. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, large pool big enough for lap swimming.” Sep 11, 2008 by
Suzanne from Oswego, IL
“Needs to be refurbished. Musty smell, no batteries in the TV controls, lack of light in the bathroom (broken florescent). Continental free breakfast prepared foods were very bland and greasy. There was a towel hanging on the fire alarm.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Melba from Carson, CA
“I enjoyed my two night stay. The hotel was very comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly and efficient, and great price. I would stay here again if I am in the Huntsville area.” Aug 25, 2008 by
Harry from Plainsboro, NJ
“The hotel room is a nice size but the quality of the room is poor! There was a toe nail from the previous guest that remained on the carpet the entire time of my stay, so they did not vacuum the floor. Didn't refill my coffee supplies. Never mopped the bathroom floor. Had holes in the carpet. Touch up painted the ceiling. This hotel has gone to hell. The management is obviously far to cheap to put any money into proper up keep for the hotel. Also the business amenities are terrible. The business center is a CPU on a rolling cart in the lobby. The workout area is small and the machines were in terrible condition.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Bryan from Birmingham, AL
“My state was mediocre. The sleep member bed was very uncomfortable and I had spider webs in different corners in the bathroom. My bathtub was not cleaned by room service.” Aug 4, 2008 by
Scott from Mountain Home, ID
“The rooms are well appointed, although the bathrooms need another round of renovations. Old, poorly-aligned tiles gather mildew, and the ceiling above the tub surround showed signs of water damage. All of the rooms feature best-in-the-industry Select Comfort "number" beds. If you can't get a good night's sleep on one of these, you can't get a good night's sleep! The hotel's free, hot breakfast was excellent, and the staff helpful and welcoming.” Aug 4, 2008 by
Kathy from Dickinson, TX
“The beds were horrible. They had slept number mattress that didn't hold the air as they were suppose to. So they would go down in the middle of the night and you were sleeping on the hard boards. Also, they had a sleeper sofa in the room and we requested sheets for it which we never got.” Aug 3, 2008 by
Lauren from Anaheim, CA
“The staff was friendly and helpful. I had UPS deliver a very large shipment before I arrived and they signed for me. The common areas were clean and comfortable- however I can not say the same for the actual room. The bed's sleep number function did not work and the amenities did not match my expectations. The toilet clogged and it took over 2.5 hours and 3 calls to get someone up there, when they finally came they were very apologetic.” Jul 11, 2008 by
Debra R. from Birmingham, AL
“Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel rooms dirty. Food at hotel poor.” Jul 5, 2008 by
Ed
“The hotel exceeded my expectations by quite a bit. Very comfortable room, very pleasant staff, the complimentary breakfast was hot and had good variety, and the public spaces were well kept up and attractive. Really a great place to stay while in Huntsville.” May 19, 2008 by
Dan from Sugar Hill, GA
“I was approached by 2 men in the pasting lot, staff did nothing. I complained about cigarette smoke, staff did nothing.” May 18, 2008 by
Harry from Plainsboro, NJ
“Nice size room, but hotel is very 70's. The room was recently refurbished, but had a broken lamp, defective HVAC and hot & cold reversed on the shower. Even after I asked to have these items repaired, they were not.” May 15, 2008 by
Chris from Elmore, AL
“The staff was extremely helpful and the hot breakfast included was great. It seemed upkeep maintenance was a little spotty as we had to try a couple of different rooms to find a mini-fridge that wasn't frozen up. The sleep number beds were very nice. Overall a great experience. We would not hesitate to stay there again.” May 15, 2008 by
Lakeisha from Birmingham, AL
“I liked the hotel but I can't figure out why a 3-star hotel does not have free breakfast! This is the second time Ive experienced this. Quality, attractiveness can't come with complimentary breakfast?” May 14, 2008 by
from Anchorage, CA
“I had one of the worst stays of my life at this hotel. It was very old they need some updates. Also we had some bugs and the beds were very uncomfortable. I don't see how anyone could enjoy their stay at this hotel.” May 13, 2008 by
Dallas from Dolton, IL
“The Radisson was worth the price and more. The facility was quiet, in spite of the hotel full of several high school teams.” May 13, 2008 by
Kelvin from Mansfield, TX
“Friendly people, classic southern hospitality. Location was great for my needs. The room was very clean and well stocked.” Apr 30, 2008 by
Heather from Suwanee, GA
“I was surprised by this hotel. It was a lot nicer than I expected. The hot breakfast buffet in great. The rooms were clean. I would stay there again if I was in the area. We were there for business and it was more than convenient.” Apr 30, 2008 by
Pam from Florence, AL
“Very clean, roomy and comfortable.” Apr 28, 2008 by
Sabrena from Cincinnati, OH
“This hotel was great. Would like to stay there again.” Apr 20, 2008 by
David from Lakeland, TN
“The staff was ready to assist where ever needed. The location was a bit down away from the main stream of things where restaurants were easy to get to. Was more of a location for Red Stone visitors than regular business travelers. Over all though it was comfortable and easy. Thanks to you and for your service.” Apr 17, 2008 by
Kim from Killen, AL
“Hotel is clean, but uncomfortable furnishings. I have never been comfortable at a Radisson hotel. They just never seem clean. We were told we would have a non-smoking, double room with normal beds, we arrived and was told that they only had king rooms with sleep number, although I was told earlier in the day that they had me set up for the double room with normal mattress beds. I was sore the whole time. Our bathroom had been sprayed down, but had not been wiped down, so it had this residue on everything from the floors to the tub. The breakfast buffet is great!” Apr 14, 2008 by
Lilian from Ocala, FL
“Staff is not very friendly, breakfast is free, but it is not very good. Mold in bathrooms in both rooms we had (moved from first room). Housekeeping takes forever to get rooms cleaned, opened door to room after brief knock, did not wait to see if we were there to answer. A little run down, not an up-scale hotel by any means. Would stay again.” Apr 10, 2008 by
Angela from Marietta, GA
“Hotel is standard for business-related travel. Good for families with younger children because of the suite layout. Cleanliness of room is not up to par considering it is supposedly rated a 3 star hotel. Staff is terribly unprofessional in their appearance, sense of urgency and overall willingness to accommodate. Consistently must request linens for pull-out bed and additional wash cloths for 3-member family. This hotel is really more indicative of a solid 2 star hotel.” Mar 22, 2008 by
Brian from Chesterfield, MO
“Heater & AC did not work upon check-in. Called the front desk and attendant did not take any action until I went to the front desk 1.5 hours later. He then contacted their maintenance to visit the room and assess the situation. I was again told that they did not have any more rooms available. Maintenance (very friendly and accommodating!) determined that the HVAC unit needed extensive work and we should be moved. He called the front desk and, voila, another room happened to be available.” Mar 7, 2008 by
Jim from Cookeville, SD
“.” Feb 29, 2008 by
Cbw from Riverton, MB CA
“The room was very comfortable with a sitting room and bedroom. Amenities included a microwave, small fridge and bar sink. A full breakfast was provided each morning. However, the dining room was only open for certain hours during the day and there was no lobby coffee, newspapers. Pool had been indicated to be heated but was not and was not available for use.” Feb 27, 2008 by
Andy from Oxford, MS
“Broken windows, used soap, and poorly made beds greeted me. Spacious suite, free wireless, clean carpet, and great full breakfast. Coffee cup tasted like soap, I had to crawl under the table to plug the coffee pot in. There was no remote in the bedroom and the one in the living room didn't work in the bedroom. Sleep number beds advertised at the desk were not available in my suite. Smoky hallways, unprofessional cleaning staff, and poorly dressed desk clerk. Overall not what I have experienced at Radissons in the past, but consistent with other online reviews at this location.” Feb 26, 2008 by
Larrita from Nashville, TN
“The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Our original room didn't have hot water in the shower and the staff immediately moved us to a room just a few doors down with very little inconvenience.” Feb 22, 2008 by
Angela from Marietta, GA
“This hotel is the only 2+ star (but not a "3") in the south Huntsville area, but it is better than the others in the vicinity. The restaurant's breakfast buffet and atmosphere is poor. The staff needs to be trained on customer service and the rooms need to be fully stocked with linens for the pull-out bed and towels/wash cloths for a family of four.” Dec 10, 2007 by
Karen from Asheville, NC
“Even though staff were very friendly and promised me anything, they did not follow through. The air conditioning unit did not work and no one ever showed up to fix even with repeated calls. At check out I mentioned that it needed to be fixed and all I got was a shrug of the shoulder. Al is hot and humid this was important to me. Will not stay there again.” Sep 5, 2007 by
Troy from Deatsville, AL
“Good location nice customer service. Room was very old fashioned, and slightly dirty. There was broken appliances and mold in the bathroom ceiling and in the grout. Tub was dirty what I would expect for a 1 star or no star.” Jun 6, 2007 by
Chuck from Tucker, GA
“We got a suite for the price of a regular room. We did not get sleep number beds with 2 doubles and they were not very comfortable. Go for a king and get a sleep number bed if your kids don't mind the sleeper sofa.” Apr 5, 2007 by
Tracy from Pinson, AL
“Rooms were great, I enjoyed our stay.” Jul 27, 2006 by
David from Clarksville, TN
“We enjoyed the stay and plan return visits.” Mar 21, 2006 by
Jeff from Pensacola, FL
“It appears that this hotel had a recent make over. Linens and furnishings are very crisp and clean. Tile in bathroom has sparkling white grout lines. Easy to spot and approach from the main highway, close to large shopping mall, restaurants, and museums. Would definitely recommend to anyone.” Oct 12, 2005 by
Christine from Bellbrook, OH
“Great location, staff was clueless.” Jul 12, 2005 by
Jeff
“The hotel is convenient located to most attractions in the Huntsville are and close to most restaurants. The hotel rooms are suites with very nice accomodations. French doors separate the bedroom from the living area which includes a frig, microwave and sink. The room has multiple televisions with a Sleep Number bed.Just a Great Stay!!!” Jul 10, 2005 by

“old looking and pool was dingy” Jun 27, 2005 by
Jim from Miramar, FL
“Hotel was a little far south of town but no big deal.” May 22, 2005 by
Edward from Hazel Crest, IL
“We actually added a day to our original observation! Our suite was fabulous... we enjoyed the workout room and equipment. Met our expectations by 120%!” Apr 17, 2005 by
Gabriel from Clarksville, TN
“I absolutely loved the rooms. The french doors separating office space from sleeping space was perfect. So much room for so little.” Jan 16, 2005 by
Kim from Jackson, TN
“Our rooms were not ready. Given a room that was occupied. Understaffed. Not what we expected or paid for.” Jan 6, 2005 by
Thomas from Madison, AL
“Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The man at the front desk adjusted my room type with no problem and allowed a late check out of 1:00 instead of 12. Would have liked later, but no complaints overall. The room was clean and comfortable, but the ceiling over one bed had some minor water damage. Overall a very nice hotel. I would have no problem doing business with them again in the future.” Sep 2, 2004 by
William C. from Fairhope, AL “The lobby was lovely, the desk clerk courteous and pleasant, but the room decor left something to be desired. It felt cold and not particularly welcoming. I think they tried to a Shaker inspired decor, but it kept the hotel from quite being a three star category. Also one of the bath towels had a hole in it. A minor detail. The room was clean, and overall no complaints. We didn't have time to check out pool and other amenities.”
