• Place is a dump. Needs a fresh change of managers. Fresh sheets would help!

“Absolutely the worst Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at in my life. As a priority club member I expected better treatment I received. I found the lady manager rude. The place is a dump compared to other Holiday Inn's I've stayed at. There were burn holes in the sheets and the room smelled bad. Don't stay here. Also if you go to the lounge there at the hotel, watch your tab closely because the barmaid runs up the tab, and is really shifty. Just stay away from this dump.”

• Third floor with no elevator and no porter help.

• I liked nothing.
• The ac unit was extremely noisy, the shower was gross, the TV was fuzzy and there was no laundry facility.

“This hotel was run by idiots and the rooms were awful. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the TV, AC Unit and bathroom were rundown. The.”

• Person in lobby said they had trouble w/door staying shut.

• We liked the cleanliness and the friendliness.
• It was hard to get out of driveway to go left. You usually have to go right and turn around to go left.

• Conveniently located within 2 miles of my customers.
• Was not the quality of a typical Holiday inn Express.

“This hotel is undergoing renovations, but the property itself is not the quality of any other holiday inn express that I have stayed in. The bed's mattress was worn; the door to my room was difficult to close and lock and the rooms were not well insulated from noise levels outside.”

“August 13, 2007 Stayed one night. It was very hot and ice machines had no ice. Commode not secured to floor. Smoke detector dangling from ceiling on wires. One of the two keys did not work. Carpet dirty. Linens on one bed dirty had to sleep on other bed. If this had been a Hampton Inn the night would have been free. Been staying here last 15 years. Will not ever stay here again. I grew up in Slocomb.”

• Clean, lovely linens and pillows, good breakfast.
• One staff member was not helpful locating my luggage dropped off by airport, it was right there!

“Very clean and new looking. I expected a 2 star to be much older. The bed and linens were wonderful. We wanted to take them home!! All but one staff member were wonderful.”

• The comfort of the bed, pillows, and linens were awesome.
• The swimming pool was too far from our room. No microwave or refrigerator in room.

• You updated the rooms, you could tell the hotel was old, yet the decor was updated, very refreshing.
• The lobby had a bad smell, a large trash can was in the middle of the floor because the roof was leaking. Not Good!!!

• The Front Desk Clerk friendliness and helpfulness.
• Out side check in room.

“Brandy the Front Desk Clerk was the best, we went to Dothan on a blind, not knowing where we were going or where we were going to end up, but after, getting to our hotel and talking with out Front Desk clerk she made everything easy, our stay, room, and location for church and others things like shopping. She made Holiday Inn Express and Holiday Vacation treat for us.”

• Continental breakfast was very good, staff very friendly.
• Blankets were wet in places and no swimming pool.

“Very pretty decor and beds were comfortable. The pull out sofa was not made though so we had to make the bed up. Only decaf coffee was placed in our room, no regular. The pool was shared with the Quality inn next door. The breakfast was very good and offered, boiled eggs, peanut butter, very good cinnamon rolls and all the other bagels and cereals typically found. Hot coffee served all day. Flexible hours for the breakfast also (6am ¿ 10am).”

• It was nicely decorated and it was clean. There was a note left by housekeeper with her name on it if the room wasn't clean.
• Could improve the breakfast buffet.

“ The room was clean, even the bath tub in which I usually find in most motels a dirty bath ring. The room was also nicely decorated. I would use this Motel again as well as recommend it to others”

• Front desk accomodated us when the room did not meet our needs.
• A/C unit vibrated very loudly.

“Arrived late at 1:30AM. Printed forms were ready and room was ready. Room had one king bed and we needed two beds. Hotel staff changed us to a room with two beds. Recieved breakfast, newspaper and checkout was a breeze with hotel staff.”

“The room was not very clean. We found fast food containers under the beds and the bathroom had hairs in the tub and the shower walls were covered with soap scum. The bathroom floor was either stained with ground in dirt or was just plain dirty. The blankets were stained. I would never go to that motel again and I was really very suprised at the neglect. Holiday Inns have always been a pleasant stay for me before when I have stayed in them.”

“The hotel was large and spacious. Located along a major therefore. The personal was cordial. The rooms were clean. The breakfast had a large variety and the food was good. Overall a very good place to stay.”
