“I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It is beautiful, very clean, has a great breakfast (which is free for Hilton Honors Gold) and a pleasant staff. As a Hilton Honors Gold, they also usually give me an upgrade to a shotgun suite if I remember to ask the front desk for it when I check-in (and often I get one even if I don't ask). Some of the rooms have LCD TVs and air bladder beds which are nice but I don't really miss them when I get a room without them. The regular beds are very comfortable and even the tube TVs seem to be better than average. The tub areas are extra wide and the windows open to allow fresh air inside which is nice. I have only two minor criticisms. On one Tuesday night when the hotel was very full, I had trouble finding parking when I returned at 10 pm from a local restaurant. A Homewood Suites hotel is under construction next door (I was told the Homewood would open by September 2008) and I think the construction people were taking up some of the parking spaces. The second criticism is that this hotel is pricy. However, I can't complain too much. I tried the Comfort Suites next door once. It was ok but didn't have the same feel of quality and cleanliness that the Hilton Garden Inn has. There was a little mildew in the joints around the tub and I could hear the toilet flush in the bathroom above mine. It definitely is an older hotel and the front desk staff, while not being rude, seemed indifferent to me. I have never had a problem at the Daphne Hilton Garden Inn but I got the feeling that the people there would cheerfully fix my problem if I ever did. In the end, I guess I feel like I'm getting my money's worth. It's just an well above-average hotel with an above-average price.”

• The room was very nice and the bed was so comfortable!
• The room was narrow and hard to walk in if more that one person in room. There were three of us with two queen beds.

“The hotel was in a nice neighborhood and was near eating places and a shopping center. We felt safe. It was very clean and attractive. The desk clerks were helpful with directions etc. The beds were very comfortable and attractive.”

• Friendly staff ; convenient to all roads
• trouble with the keys 3 different times

“This was a great place to stay. Very convenient with very friendly staff. We had a free breakfast buffet each morning for the family that came with our room and moist cookies each evening when we got back. The only trouble we had was with our room key that did not work 3 different times and we had to switch out.”
