  • Price, wireless internet, mini-fridge in room, pool.
  • Mildew/Musty bathrooms, linens not really clean, lack of customer service.

“Everything is correct. The bathrooms are horrible. I changed rooms because the first room smelled worse than a locker room. The bathroom smelled like mildew and the carpet and floors had water damage. It triggered an allergy attack and they took almost an hour to change our room. The new room was better, but the bathroom still smelled a bit like mildew. When I complained to the front desk manager about same, he said he couldn't do anything more. Needless to say, I won't be staying here again.”

“Would stay again. The fridge was a plus. Starbucks and Pizza Hut in the lobby are great. Has a kids corner with movies and games. Next to Winn Dixie and lots of places to eat.”

  • The hotel staff was wonderful.
  • It was an old room, the bathroom had lots of issues.

“The Radisson Worldgate Resort is a nice enough hotel. The lobby is beautiful and the staff is extremely friendly. The rooms offer the select a number beds and have plenty of room. My main disappointment is the bathroom: it was falling apart and needed to be updated.”

  • I like the cookies at check-in as well as the location and variety of options to do at hotel.
  • The bathroom tub was filthy, and the place didn't feel clean.

“Check-in was very welcoming with the cookies. The staff was friendly. When I called an hour later to complain about the disgusting tub that had dirt and hair in it, I was just moved to another suite that was slightly improved. I didn't feel like anyone went above and beyond to assist. The hallways smelled like a hospital, but the main pool was beautiful and the ping pong table was fun. Loved Pizza Hut at the lobby and the location of the hotel as a whole. The view from the rooms were gorgeous, but still felt like the room would've been cleaner.”

  • Room was damp from A.C., bathroom had mold and no vent. Dirty.

“This hotel is not a 3 star hotel, maybe when it was first built. Elevator had no A.C. so it was really stuffy. Bathroom had no vent so there was mold in the bathroom. Showerhead had slimmy film covering it. A/C was misty so the room was damp, carpets, sheets, table, everything.”

  • The hotel staff was pleasant. We had a problem with our hotel key card scanning and they immediately fixed problem.
  • The carpet was slightly damp on first day because they had steamed cleaned but this was acceptable because I knew the carpet was clean.

“I was worried when I had read some negative reviews regarding this hotel. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. We were in the north building on the 6th floor and we had a clean room. We were even able to watch the fireworks each evening from our hotel window from WDW.”

“I just didn't like the resort fee that they charge per night for use of facilities/services that are provided for free in other hotels/resorts. Especially we didn't even use them (basketball court, tennis court, shuttle services, etc).”

  • Rooms and room amenities not up to a 3 star hotel.

“Had to change rooms after the first night. The initial rooms A/C rattled all night long, did not cool the room nor dehumidifying the room on a very soggy night and the refrigerator did not work. However, the location is great if you are looking for a place close to Disney property.”

  • Ants, refrigerator did not fit in cabinet. Chair did not fit under desk. Linens seemed dirty.

“The hotel is dirty and old. It needs to be updated. We had to switch rooms because of an ant invasion. Once we switched to another room we found ants there also. But at least it did not smell like bug spray like the first room.”

  • I can't tell any good things about this hotel.

“I changed 3 rooms in 6 nights during the stay; one room had very bad exhaust in the bathroom, two rooms had the broken air conditioning units. All furniture in the rooms are old and in bad shape. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“The hotel grounds, hallways, lobby and parts of the rooms were not kept up with the times. Old furniture, stains on carpets, hair on bathroom towels, rusty pool chairs, etc. It was an eye-sore. You are charged a resort fee about 7/day, but that includes wireless internet. Along with the friendly staff, those are the only 2 positive things about this property.”

“Very convenient to Disney World and Downtown Disney, other local attractions. Has the feel of a former classy hotel getting rough around the edges, or a former run-down hotel being worked over to bring it back to former glory. There is actually quite a lot to do right on the property, as far as physical activity is concerned - tennis, basketball, swimming, exercise room, and poolside lounging. Hard to take advantage of it, though, as part of a Disney-theme park weekend visit 9 too busy going elsewhere).”

“This hotel had very dangerous black mold in the bath room. When we told the front desk staff they we unconcerned then finally after much discussion moved us to another room. This room was not much better. It rained and the window leaked and the carpet and curtains, etc were soaked. The food in the restaurant was awful. We will never stay there again.”

  • Sleep number bed, great bathtub, coffeemaker & refrigerator, close to Disneyworld, convenient to restaurants, 2 pools, nice décor. Great price.
  • The pools needed cleaning (leaves, etc).

“This hotel is a great value. Comfortable, great location, spacious rooms with sleep-number beds, refrigerator, safe, coffee maker & a nice big bathtub. Soothing decor. a cozy retreat after a 'Disney Day'. It is close to everything. My adult children were able to work in comfort at night on their computers, and a nice couch for relaxing. I would recommend this hotel for family travel. Two pools, and hot tub.”

  • The pool area was nice.
  • It boasted about sleep number beds which we did not get, the floors were stained; the furniture was broken and stained.

“The room had stained floor and walls; the furniture was outdated, stained and broken. The bathroom smelled of mildew. The staff was not friendly and the outlet and bars were closed during our stay. The hotel boasted of sleep number beds and there was not one in our room.”

“The hotel room was very nice and convenient to Disney World. The staff upgraded us for free to a newer room with a nice view. The beds were fine. The room was clean except the windows really needed cleaning. The pool was really dirty and we needed showers after using it. That will probably be the reason we do not go back to the hotel. The staff was nice but seemed a little high school and we had to come back twice before our room was ready to occupy. We could not check in until after 5 pm even though check in was supposed to be 4 pm. Our stay was average.”

  • Hotel was clean/close to all theme parks. Inexpensive restaurants to choose from/in walking distance. Car rental on site. Staff very friendly/helpful.
  • Personally did not like the sleep# beds.

“Hotel was great for the money spent. Very clean. Staff very helpful. Car would not start and staff went out of their way to get it started. Location is perfect short drive to all theme parks. Hotel even had nightly entertainment poolside. They also show movies poolside. I would stay again.”

  • The outside appearance looked like a beautiful resort.
  • The rooms were standard without microwaves and cramped.

“Arriving on site gave a false impression of the hotel. It was truly beautiful on the outside. The lobby areas and dining areas were small for a resort. The rooms were cramped and did not contain microwave (unless you paid an additional fee). I was really hoping this would be the place to return to, but it was a one time visit for me and my family.”

  • It was in bad part of town. This is not a 3 star hotel.

“I travel at least twice a month. More often than not a star level accurately reflects the hotel I stay in. This was one of those situations. This is not a true 3 star hotel, pushing it will make it a low end 2 1/2 star. Thanks.”

  • Rooms were very clean - nice pool.
  • Uncomfortable beds and noisy guests - awkward times for shuttle to DW.

“The sleep-number beds are not in every room, so you must ask for an upgrade if you want one. The regular beds are very uncomfortable. The guest services staff was rude when we tried to buy tickets to the parks and the free shuttle only goes to Magic Kingdom and leaves at times that are not convenient. However, the room was very clean and front-desk staff was friendly enough.”

“The front desk seems under staffed. As a retail manager we are trained to execute the three basic items. (Greet, Thank, and invite back). This was not performed. They lacked basic people skills. The second set of staff on our second day improved.”

  • I have nothing positive to say about this hotel.
  • I did not like their room cleanliness, room temperature, customer service, noise level, ugly hotel.

“This hotel is horrible. It should be avoided for the following reasons.1- Check in is not until 4pm. We came earlier, then were told to come back at 4, so we came back at 4:20 pm. Even then, they did not have rooms ready for us. We waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes before they assigned us rooms. 2- Our room had a horrible odor to it. It was very strong and made us feel sick. 3- The maids did not ever come to our rooms or give us new towels. We had to call to request clean towels. 4- When you check out they charge you $7.25 per night for a resort fee. 5- The nasty buffet breakfast is $15 a person. 6- The AC in the hall and lobby didn't seem to be working. 7- Staff seems numb to complaints. I guess they get complaints so frequently they don't even care anymore. Radisson should be embarrassed by this resort. 8- This hotel is old and needs updates everywhere. 9- The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and the noise level from the outside poor area was loud at night even from the 4th floor.”

  • Not a 3 star hotel at all.

“This is not a 3 star hotel. The air conditioner in our room never shut off, and it had one temp. freezing cold. We had to shut it off to warm up. They never fixed it. They also charged a resort fee that we were not aware of, they said they would waive it because of the air conditioner and they charged it anyway. If you are looking for a real 3 star hotel this is not it.”

  • Room was not in good mechanical shape.

“The location, staff and external facilities were nice. However, this hotel should not be rated a 3 1/2 star hotel. The interior room needed significant upgrades. The outlet for the cable was not fully covered. The hair dryer did not work and we saw a few roaches in the room. It is close to Disney and those things but it is not a 3 1/2 star hotel.”

  • Very helpful staff and willing to serve and help at anytime.
  • The room was not very clean or comfortable. They had an extra fee per day.

“At the end they didn't charge me that extra fee and gave me a better room, because I told them I was not comfortable in the room and that I didn't agree on that extra. I was very comfortable in the last room.”

“The staff was very helpful in situating us in another room after requesting a showing of the room to the manager/assistant manager on duty. Room was not clean, mold in bathroom, smelled of mildew. They agreed and accommodated us to rooms that were more suited to our needs. Everything worked out, wished I had spoken up on the first day instead of the following day.”

“I liked the saline pool and spa versus chlorine at other hotels and resorts. Staff was friendly and helpful, all but one, but even she did fairly well after the first issue. I did not like the fact that the maid service came in when I had a "do not disturb" sign on the door. They made me nervous - came by more than once a day on at least three days.   • Good cookies upon arrival.
  • Very primitive lobby, dated, in a not-so desired area, not attractive from the outside, looks rundown.

“People friendly, good cookies upon arrival, mattress not good on one of the beds, and can move with little prompting. Would not stay there again though.”
