• Select comfort bed.

“The Raddisson is a nice hotel but they need to have free shuttle service to Old Town area. Also, I have not recently (last 5 yrs) stayed in any hotel that doesn't have a breakfast buffet.”

• I liked the view from the room of the ocean.
• The building was very old and needed to be refurbished.

• Only thing positive were clean bedlinen.
• Dirty, lock on door broke carpet and tile in bathroom dirty.

“This is not a good hotel, it was dirty needs major upgrade. We felt unsafe as lock broke on door. The room was on gulf side facing road and every noise could be heard. Beds were not comfortable but did have clean linen. The view was nice though, could see the gulf.”

“They gave me 2 double beds and a smoking room, when i asked for single, they changed for a dbl ns, the key didn't work, i have to go back to the lobby 3 times and they didn't have any kind of breakfast. Hallways were very dirty and elevator got stuck 2 times in 2 days, just with me!”

• The sleep number beds were great.
• It was too far from the main attractions in Key West.

“Very clean and neat, had everything you would need close at hand. The staff was friendly and helpful. The attached dining was clean and food was good. Pool area was clean and open for extended hours and pool bar staff was friendly and area was clean. Elevators were broke on a daily basis though, although fixed each day, there was a delay on using them daily and they were hot and unventilated. Overall, a good hotel to stay with vacationing family.”

• Very old, very dirty. Nice staff/people who try hard, but the place is a wreck.
• Location, Dirty, wireless did not work the entire stay.

“Friendly staff who do try very hard to help. Very dated rooms, dirty common areas, locals enjoyed the pool area. Wireless internet did not work the entire time we were there. Just disappointed. We get very few days to vacation and that was rough.”

• We did not like this hotel at all!
• Very damp and musty hotel rooms, plus dirty elevators.

“Unless the hotel management fixes their very musty rooms specifically walls and carpets. We would not recommend staying here. The price is not really worth it, as the musty room had made me feel sick, only after 1 night of stay!”

“I am a frequent traveler so I am always looking for good hotels. I was highly disappointed to see this hotel condition. I was also disappointed to learn that this hotel is expected to be demolished next year.”

• The Denny's adjacent to the hotel.
• The Numbers Bed was awful. Lumpy and Miserable.

“The Numbers Bed was the worst. You inflate the bed to your liking and as you sleep, it deflates and you wake up feeling terrible. To say back problems is putting it mildly. The air conditioning started humming and tapping until it had to be turned off. Maintenance never showed up. A definite do not do over.”

• We enjoyed the entertainment at the poolside.
• We didn't like that the room had roaches and had roaches had been reported in other rooms as well.

“The hotel location was good, no breakfast in the morning but Denny's was located downstairs for the hotel guest convince. I had to put my bags in the car due to the roaches and we were glad we only were there one night!”

• Room decor is bad, carpet was wet from cleaning for first day and half.

“The room price was right for being in Key West. Didn't really like it overall, but not what I went to the Keys for. The pool and splash the bar outback had decent food and drinks. Loved that part of the hotel plus they stayed open late.”

• Excellent front desk staff.
• Too far from the "action".

“Nice pool area with bar/girl. Denny's attached to hotel. $15 cab ride to Duval street. Our room had a patio with table and chairs and also refer in room. Bar tender was a bit surly but the rest of the staff, mostly. European, was very helpful and very friendly.”

• All prices are too high in Key West in general.

• The pool area and views were outstanding.
• The location is in new town and is a $16 cab fare away.

“We enjoyed our stay very much. The view was great, overlooking the water off the North side of the island. Also, the pool and tiki bar surpass our expectations. Lobby and room are also nice. Negative is that it's in new town and far 3 miles from Duval St.”

• Room was cramped with too much furniture, bathroom was disgusting

“This hotel was old and in direction need of updating. Our room was cramped with old furniture we were tripping over each other. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Bathroom was dirty (mildew on shower curtain, rust around toilet), carpet was old and dirty. Even the elevator was dirty. As far as we could tell, the bar was never open in the lobby. The only saving feature was the pool which was clean and pretty. I would not recommend this hotel.”

• Very small, had to unpack suitcases and return cases to car, no room for them in room.

“Great new beds, good view, nice pool. Annoying policy at the pool; not allowed to take any food or beverage from room to pool, they have a poolside bar and you must purchase from them.”

• Staff was extremely friendly and accomodating.
• The beds were like torture chambers! Neither of us were able to sleep on the "sleep number" beds. I would have rather brought an air mattress.

“The hotel staff was warm and inviting. The location was nice, nice view and I expected to drive a bit to Duvall st. I was disappointed in the beds! They were the most uncomfortable things I have ever slept on! Neither me or my other half slept well. Also the A/C unit in the room didn't work well. When we called for assistance the maintenance man made us feel stupid for calling it was on 69, and we were sweating. He said we should have dropped it to 59 for it to be comfortable.”

• Pool seemed nice, but didn't use it.
• Elevator is old and gross. Rooms are rust stained and old and dirty.

“This hotel is not at all what I expected. It is far from the town of Key West. The location is not attractive. The hotel looks fine at first glance- the sign and the lobby look normal. The elevator is old and stained and disgusting. The rooms are worse. Stained, cottage cheese ceilings. It was like a Motel 6. I would never stay here again. My recommendation is to stay in a cute bed and breakfast in the town of Key West.”

• Front desk staff was very nice and helpful.
• Elevator was so slow it took forever to get from 5th floor to lobby.

“Our first room had a fowl smoke smell, which we brought to the attention of the front desk and it was resolved immediately, moving us to a new room right away and that room was actually nicer than the first. The pool area was beautiful, with a nice tiki bar atmosphere. It was a little far from the Downtown Key West area. We most likely would stay here again.”

“The rating given is not what the hotel represents. Everything was worn. Bedding, furniture, pool etc. The toilet leaked the room was not very clean. The pictures of the hotel and surroundings were obviously taken years ago.”

• Our room was facing near major street and traffic noise was bad at night.

“This wasn't great vacation because we couldn't leave Chicago on time due to snow storm. We ended up waiting 2 days then left. Hotel was reserved for 5 days but we only stayed for 3 days, couldn't stay for 5 days because we got there 2 days late and your rep didn't want to help us. therefore our trip got short.”

• It was just a sales place for Timeshares and was extremely noisy all night long.

“The room was very noisy and we did not get any sleep at all, it was really bad. People screaming and yelling in the hallway all night long. No security or desk helps to stop it.”

“Clean nice rooms. Would prefer indoor entry. We were in a room at the end of the hotel next to air conditioner vents that made a lot of noise. Otherwise would stay at the hotel again.”

• The rooms are nicely decorated and a good price for Key West.
• The AC quit in the middle of the night.

“This hotel is usually a nice place to stay. The rooms are clean, pool is nice and its a good price for Key West. Here comes the ugly part. The air conditioning quit in the middle of the night. Thankfully it wasn't very hot out. People on college spring break were very loud, yelling and screaming in the pool until late, running up and down the halls slamming doors until almost 4AM. The hotel staff did nothing to try and quiet them down. Upon checkout I told them about my problems with the noise and the AC and they issued me a small discount. I guess it was better than nothing.”

“Very disappointed - not what I would have expected from a Radisson Hotel - the place was old, musty smelling and the drain in the bathtub was blocked. Staff was great, but when you are dealing with a hotel in this condition there isn't much they can do - needs a major renovation.”

• Dirty and noisy and foul smelling.

“The room and elevator smelt like something was rotting and it was filthy. It looked like it had never been cleaned and the carpet was brown from dirt. The drapes would not close and when we pulled on the drapery rod it had been tied with a cable tie which snapped off. People were shouting and fighting downstairs at 3:00 o'clock in the morning, so we felt very unsafe. We packed up and vacated the room at 4:00am without even showering. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Never again.”

• Pool was great, needs a hot tub.
• Air conditioner was full of mold/dust & room had a bad odor the first day/night.

“We will definitely stay here again. Great place for the price & convenience of the town. Our first night in Key West we stayed at a more "upscale newer hotel", what a mistake that was. The Radisson was by far the better choice of stays!”

• Carpet needed replacing, very noisy location.

“First room we were given was very bad. Second room was spacious, great sleep number bed. It appears the bath was recently updated but the carpet had a strip about 2 feet long worn to the threads with carpet tacks sticking out. The view was very nice but there is no insulation in the room and the noise level from Roosevelt St. kept us up half the night, even with the AC running. The pool area was very nice but the pool was very dirty. Nice bar in the lobby but the bar stools are all reserved for "locals" to play the bar trivia every night. Bar by the pool was very nice. It was an ok hotel for the price but don't expect a 5 star hotel.”
