• Not much.

“2nd story-view of roof & 30'X12' air unit, room was directly across from elevator heard noise & voices most of night, ice machine on floor didn't work, shower drained very slow stood in dirty water, double beds no queen's? Tough with a child, $9 a night parking 2 levels down no security.”

• Clean and great view of Colorado springs.
• Extra unseen charge for parking and room was not soundproof.

“This is not what I expected in a Hilton. It is an older hotel and there was an extra 9 dollar charge per day for parking which was very hard to get to since it was an underground parking deck. The room was not soundproof and we had to call the front desk to report disturbance in the room next door. The room was clean though the hotel is old and needs updated. Below my expectation for this type of hotel.”

• Clean and safe. Manager didn't charge us for the $9.00 parking, we'll see when we get our discover bill.
• The bar/grill waitress was so rude we left went on Tejon and found a place kind that we wanted to give our money to.

“Very good, hot tub a little hot, pool looked very cloudy and dirty, customer service excellent, bar and grill staff Saturday evening rude. We left the hotel and found a restaurant on Tejon to eat at. Overall, great job!”

• Great location.
• An oddity of the place: The elevator always stops at the lobby, even if going from parking basement to high floors.

“At this hotel, the room was among the most remote from the lobby though the hotel occupancy seemed less than full, and the view from that 2nd-floor window was of roof and the back of a huge sign.”

• You didn't have to go through the lobby every time you went to your room.
• I didn't get on the west side of the hotel, mountains.

• The attentive bell, valet and concierge staff and the view!
• No laundry room for guest use.

“We had a bad impression the first night when the room we reserved (two bed, non-smoking) was not available. It took an hour to get an acceptable room for the night with the night staff. The manager made up for our frustration with free full breakfasts and valet parking our entire stay. The rest of the week, the staff was excellent.”

• Great location, close to everything in Colorado Springs.
• Ice machines did not work on many of the floors. I did not like paying for parking.

• The parking situation is impossible.

“Overlooks renewed downtown Colorado Springs. Close to restaurants, galleries and shops. Excellent decor, rooms were beautiful. The staff, unfortunately, were extremely unhelpful. They acted as if they worked in a motel on the road. I think they need a good staff meeting. I was very, very disappointed in the lack of attention from desk, concierge (I did not even see one) and bell people. The bar help was pleasant enough, but not into customer service. They treated me like "one of them," which is something I detest when I'm spending money at an establishment. I'm not one of them. Me, customer; them, service people. They just do not know that, I guess. Like I said, they need a good service staff meeting. Moreover, regardless of my leaving daily tips for the housekeeping staff, the mirrors and tabletops were not touched. That was not acceptable.”

• Cleanliness, attractive, good location, friendly staff.
• Like everything.

“This was a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location, easy parking garage, elevator took you right to the lobby which was very convenient. The rooms were not huge but very attractive, no bedspread but attractive double sheeting over a down comforter. Liked that clean feeling. I would definitely stay there again.”

• It is a very nice hotel with a storied history.
• Our view overlooked a gravel roof and a parking lot.

“Other than our view of a gravel roof and the parking lot, (the opposite side of the hotel from our room overlooked Pike's Peak and the Colorado Rockies).”

“The Antlers Hilton is a very nice hotel if you want a downtown Colorado Springs location. It is easy to access off of I-25. It has all of the amenities I would expect from a Hilton.”

• Clean bathroom, nice pillow and dawn comforter
• Carpet is getting old, needs to be replaced.

“Things went smoothly till we noticed our room was assigned to another travelers later, because our door key wouldn't work anymore and when the staff opened it later we found someone else's bags were in our room. we later got "up grade" to another room, but it was actually smaller and only a shower in the bathroom, the only plus is the view is better than the original room.”

“The hotel is nice & in a great location. We enjoyed the pool & spa. And the fitness center looks first class. The room we were given was right outside the elevators, but what was worse were that we were across from the ice machine which we heard all night long. We did NOT get a very restful sleep because of people in and out of the elevator, and the ice & vending machines. Room service (which we used for breakfast) was ridiculously slow. I even extra tipped the guy when he brought us the breakfast - I hadn't looked at it first. We weren't brought what we had asked for, & when we called down to ask for ketchup & to-go cups as originally requested (for our coffee), it took them @ 45 minutes to come back - we were done by then because were not going to eat the cold food.”

• Small beds and very small bathroom.

“The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of nice restaurants. Lounge and restaurant in hotel are nice. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Bathrooms were very small. Only double beds were available but they were very comfortable.”

“Lobby was excellent. Didn't like paying for parking. Great location. Great view of Colorado Springs and the Mountains. Facilities were good. Great breakfast. Awesome workout room and pool. Great place to stay for the price paid.”

“We stayed for 2 days with a King size. The view from the room was great, overlooking the downtown. I chose self park ($7) rather than valet ($11). The hotel was very clean, had great room service experience and the staff a the reception were very friendly and courteous.Overall we had a wonderful time and great experience.”

• Most of the staff were helpfull and pleasant. Great amenities.
• The Brunch manager on Sunday was rude and stopped Breakfast at 10:00 not 10:30

“The Antlers in downtown Colorado Springs met and exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect and the view from my room was fantastic. I was pleased with every aspect of the Hotel from the gentleman who checked me in to the IT Tech who came to my room and connected my laptop to the internet. The food is also awesome and there are fine restaurants etc. in near proximity.”

• It was clean and impressive to enter.
• All of the extra charges for everything.

“My stay was good but not as nice as other hotels/motels I have used. Because the stay wasn't any better than normal 3 star motels, I would not typically stay there again. Also, their control of the TV was totally user UNFRIENDLY.”

• Not being able to use the workout facilities, or pool area, but I understand there was construction.

• They are refurbishing the rooms and have replaced the beds with new, comfortable beds.
• Have to pay to park.

“We were very suprised to see the formerly sophisticated and comfortable Antler's Mark transformed into a step above Hotel 6. The new drapes in the room were three inches too short, allowing bright light into the room in the early morning. There was no tub”

“Hotel undergoing changes, some of which were already in place by the time we arrived. VERY pleased with room location, and size. A few minor housekeeping details were very quickly remedied to my satisfaction. Parking facility had easy access. Would definitely recommend.”

Car park conveniently located beneath hotel with direct elevator service to hotel room floors ($7 per day). Room was clean and tidy with comfortable beds and a good range of pay services on the TV. “This hotel was not 3 stars, by anyone's measure. I was told that they were planning a remodel in the future. Low grade tiles and counter in bathroom. Dirty, old carpets. Outdated wallpaper. Small rooms.Very dissatisfied. The hotel should be 2 or 2 1/2 stars”
