• Close to the airport. Shuttle service ran despite road conditions.

“It was a pleasant clean hotel with a good staff. I couldn't take the chance of making a bid cause I needed something close to the airport and was unfamiliar with the area.”

• Very friendly staff, free breakfast, great maid service and beautiful view.
• I can't stand sleep number beds they are so uncomfortable. It even gave my 6 year old a pain in the neck.

• Close to airport for those travelers for whom this would be important.
• Complementary breakfast one day but not the next.

“It is close to the airport but far from the attractions and restaurants we were there to enjoy. Were offered complementary breakfast our first day but were told we had to pay the next morning. This should be explained at check-in. Further, not all rooms have sleep number beds.”

• The hotel was great.

“I stayed the night before at the Radisson Hotel in Albuquerque, NM. I hate them there, very rude, no customer service, they flat didn't care about us because of our bad night with them, when we got to Colorado Springs I talked to the girls at the front desk and told them of our sleepless night. They apologized and stated that if we wanted, it would cost us more. So we paid them more and got a beautiful room with Sleep Number Bed, nice breakfast. It was wonderful. When we are on vacation, we like our sleep as much as our money.”

• The noise from upper floor - herd of elephants?

“We were there for one night, had stayed there before, but must have been on second floor. The noise kept waking us up (from upstairs). Sleep number beds are good if you can find your number! I finally did, in the morning!”

• Hot tub was outside and it rained during our stay.

“Hotel is hard to see from main road. Signage could be better or larger. Room was large with microwave, fridge and extra sink. Room and public areas were clean. Check in was a breeze and staff was friendly. Would stay here again.”

• The staff was very helpful and friendly.
• Smoke smelled rooms, small beds, long time to deliver breakfast.

“It was ok. The girl at the desk and the waitress in the restaurant were very good. The waitress had no help and the food took a very long time to arrive. The non-smoking room smelled badly of cigarette smoke. We were moved quickly to another room, which also slightly smelled of cigarette smoke. The beds were much too small for two adults and two small for children.”

• Clean, comfortable rooms, good breakfast.
• Requested non-smoking room. Got alleged non-smoking room that reeked of smoke.

“Overall very good. The area around the hotel is pretty sparse, with not many dining or entertainment options besides what's in the hotel. The hot tub is outside and was closed due to storms both nights. I did mention this to the front-desk staff and told them we didn't have to move because I knew they were sold out. However upon closer inspection we saw 2 plug-in room fresheners in our room, which made me think they've been aware of this problem for some time. Not cool. Otherwise, very good stay.”

• Breakfast not included with stay.

“We really enjoyed this hotel. They had the friendliest/most helpful staff I think I have ever encountered. Nice, large rooms equipped with refrigerator, microwave, and nice furniture. Very comfortable and clean. The only downside we encountered was that continental breakfast was not included with the room. Otherwise, a great stay.”

• I hate the sleep number beds and they do not offer a queen size.

“I enjoyed looking at the mountains while eating breakfast. The room was large, but I hate the sleep number beds. The pool area was lovely and the hotel was very clean. The staff was very helpful and we felt safe. The airport noise was not a problem.”

• The staff was very accommodating and the room was very spacious.
• There was not any covered smoking areas and the rooms are all smoke free. Rained during my stay, was uncomfortable.

“The hotel was very nice. The breakfast is not included, although they stretched the rules for me. The room was perfect! The rooms were all non-smoking, and although they had smoking areas, they were not covered. When it rained it was pretty miserable. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.”

• Getting to my room was not easy - too far from lobby.

“Very clean and pleasant, great pool area, the hardest issue was the location of my room - far from lobby which was difficult with 3 young children under 5. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did a great job.”

• Spacious.
• Smell of cigarette (the hotel is a non-smoking facility).

“Other things are fine, but the smell bothered me. The first room they gave me was like somebody just lit a cigarette in it. They changed a room for me immediately. It was better and I accepted. But it was in fact because the first room was so bad that my sense of smell got less sharp for the second one. The next day, when I took out my baby's receiving blanket, which was hung in the closet, it was pretty choking.”

• Only thing I can think of, not able to stay longer. Had to go back home.

• 1st floor pool, apples for guest for free.
• Smoke smell in room but they did correct the problem.

“Bought my daughter a visa card w/130.00 on it and the girls on front desk called the card in and warranty it for me, which was very helpful and sweet.”

• Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for the money.
• Hot tub was inoperable.

“Overall it was a good experience. We were provided a non-smoking room when checking in, but room reeked of smoke. Staff was helpful in finding a replacement room, although it was fully booked. Hot tub was inoperable, but pool was clean and appeared well maintained.”

• Large room; great handicapped accommodations; free WiFi internet; restaurant discounts; refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker.
• Select Comfort bed was uncomfortable; poor quality television; no in-room decaf coffee; room smelled musty.

“I enjoyed most aspects of the hotel. First for the negatives. My room smelled musty. The Select Comfort bed was uncomfortable regardless of setting. The TV was 19", old, and blurry. Now for the positives. The room was huge and included a couch, queen Anne chair and ottoman, coffee table, working desk with office chair. The handicap-accessible accommodations were welcomed. In-room coffee, microwave, and refrigerator. Free bottle of water. Free in-room WiFi. Iron, ironing board, and hair dryer included. Higher-end bathing products. The hotel is a bit out of the way, but that's okay with me. The lobby was bright. The business center was free to use. They also offered free newspapers: USA Today and The Gazette (local daily). I did not use the hotel's restaurant or bar.”

• A little old fashion needs updated interior. The hotel advertised their new comfort bed on shuttle vans but I did not get one.

“I'm glad I arrived very late and only stayed one night. It was okay for a quick stop, but the hotel was not a 3-star hotel. Staff was nice and helpful, but the hotel was old and a little hard to find at night.”

“If you want to save money on parking for a trip, stay here! The shuttle left in plenty of time for an early flight and picked us up at the airport soon after I called for the pick-up.”

“This hotel is well taken care of and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They also have long restaurant hours and the pool is open till midnight; great for adults when the families with kids go to bed and others can relax a little later.”

“For an airport hotel - it's not very close - but the shuttle is 24 hours and free so that was fine. The room was very spacious. I'm not a fan of the Sleep Number Beds - but they have them. The restaurant in the hotel was EXCELLENT! Very flavorful, the food was unique and very affordable - plus I got a 25% off coupon! One of the best "hotel meals" I've ever had!”

• Facilities. Cleanliness of the rooms and everything worked.
• Wish they would change all light bulbs to the energy saving variety.

“Everything was as expected from a 3 star hotel. The rooms were very clean and it was a pleasure to have slept number beds. The indoor pool was good size and nicely maintained and the gym was good too. The front desk staff was very prompt and friendly when service was requested.”
