“Not what I'd expect from a Millennium hotel property.” Sep 20, 2009 by
Larry from Merritt Island,FL
“Astonishing service from staff and beautiful views of the front range made this the favorite among our recent stays in the western states.” Sep 13, 2009 by
Theresa from Powell,OH
“The hotel was old and needs updating. Didn't look at all like the pictures on their website. The staff was friendly and helpful. The gardens in the back were very pretty. We only ate breakfast at the hotel which was OK, but kind of pricey. The views of the mountains were beautiful. We had to upgrade to a better room to get any view of the scenery.” Sep 9, 2009 by
Sumanth from Omaha,NE
“Very old hotel.” Aug 17, 2009 by
John from Madrid,IA
“Very nice hotel that is International in favor. This would be a great hotel as a destination for pleasure. They only complaint is they charge for Internet as most fancy hotels do. It has an Oylimpic-sized indoor pool and a very nice outdoor pool.” Aug 12, 2009 by
from Collinsville,IL
“Older, well kept hotel. Good for families. Large courtyard.” Jun 24, 2009 by
AVA from Santa Fe,NM
“This hotel is very old and is not maintained at all. The carpet isn't even vacuumed. The hotel restaurant breakfast had fewer choices than a Quality Inn. This is defiantly not a 3 1/2 star property!” Nov 7, 2008 by
“The room and bathroom were small. Oct 15, 2008 by

“We liked our stay at the Millennium Harvest House and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. However, I would not rate the quality of the rooms with 4-stars. Bathroom definitely needed upgrading and the general noise level, especially in the mornings, was too high.” Oct 2, 2008 by
Dan
“This hotel offers a lot of rooms and sits on property close to Boulder Creek. Offers swimming and tennis for those that like to stay active when traveling. The decor is very old, beds extremely hard with old thin quilts and the bathrooms are very small. My main complaint is that there must not be any insulation in the rooms as you hear everything going on in the rooms next to you. Seemed very loud and you can hear every door slam down your hall.” Sep 14, 2008 by
Chris from Longmont, CO
“Absolutely terrible support staff. Internet went down 4 times in 24 hours. Front desk staff was just very rude. A horrible experience for a professional business traveler!” Aug 20, 2008 by
Chilene from Gibbon, NE
“This was a grand hotel with a beautiful back outside area for entertainment. It is located in a great part of Boulder with access to shopping and hiking. Our room, however, was a disappointment. It was so small that it didn't seem to fit with the hotel.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Beth from Colorado Springs, CO
“This is a large, convenient and nice hotel.” Aug 17, 2008 by
Sam from Northbrook, IL
“Decent hotel. The hallways were not air conditioned. Very long walk from either tower to the lobby. On the third day, the maid did not properly clean the room, replace the towels or replenish the soap and shampoo.” Aug 2, 2008 by
K from San Antonio, TX
“I once lived in Boulder and was under the impression that this was a nice facility. The lobby looks nice, and renovations were made a few years ago. It is run-down, and due to stained floors (both carpet and bathroom tile), I questioned the cleanliness. I had to change rooms, because the floors in the first room had garbage all over them (room not cleaned, apparently). I could hardly move in the first room, very small. Elevators have no AC and are very hot in summer. The buffet is nice on the creek, and the lobby is misleading, as it is nice as well. The staff was kind enough to move us to a different room when we discovered that the first one was dirty. The location on the creek is quite nice, too.” May 28, 2008 by
Aj from Crested Butte, CO
“The hotel itself was fine with nice shared areas, pools and gym, however the room was dingy, out dated and in disrepair. It was supposed to be an ADA room, but the shower was unusable because you could not get around the in swing door in a wheelchair, not so sweet at all. The window was fogged and the bathroom was kind of nasty.” May 21, 2008 by
Ken from Fort Collins, CO
“Hotel is nice enough. Price was great - accommodations would have been nicer at a budget hotel.” Apr 9, 2008 by
Rick from Erie, CO
“Over all great for the time there/ bed was comfortable/ carpet needed replaced/ TV good bathroom good/staff very good.” Apr 8, 2008 by
Bruce from Carmel, CA
“Not even close to being a 3-star hotel. Old, tired, and decrepit. Looks like an attempt was made to update the lobby and rooms but can't disguise fact that hotel is antiquated. Low ceilings, tiny bathrooms, stained carpets, gross! Exterior is very unattractive as well.” Mar 22, 2008 by
Joanne from Austin, TX
“This hotel is conveniently located with beautiful grounds, a friendly staff and usually pretty good food!” Mar 21, 2008 by
Russell from Atlanta, GA
“Definitely not 3 star. Very old. Needs to be renovated.” Mar 15, 2008 by
Tom from Sarasota, FL
“If you don't really care about the kind of hotel you stay in, then this would be fine because of it's location but it has seen much better days. It's rather surprising to see its a part of the Millennium chain because I was expecting it to be up to the standards of their other hotels I've stayed in Singapore and New York. The standard room I was given at check-in was very small, very old and worn and totally unacceptable. It was more like what I would expect of a Red Roof/Days Inn category. Fortunately the front desk staff was understanding (and I got the feeling they agreed with me) and I was moved to a balcony room overlooking the Rocky's. That view plus the weather made it all enjoyable. There is a lot of potential there and I would expect Millennium will update and modernize but until they do. It should be a 2 or 2.5 star moderate hotel at best.” Feb 22, 2008 by
Anthony from Nokomis, FL
“We where unhappy with the approach from the lobby to the room, no pictures on walls looked like a dorm. The room was OK although the cleaning service was sub par. No hot water the first morning. Awful view of building tops from room. I wish I could say more good stuff but there is none.” Feb 19, 2008 by
Clifford from Colorado Springs, CO
“Room was overall clean. We had two complaints. The bed was made so that the bottom sheet did not go all the way to the bottom. Second the alarm clock had been set by someone to be midnight and turned on. We were on vacation and didn't think to check. Could have house keeping check for that.” Feb 6, 2008 by
Cindy from Littleton, CO
“The hotel is fine, but probably not 3-Star. The standard room we had was small by American standards and, though the hotel has been updated, there are a few finishing touches missing. The lack of a real business center and/or a terminal for free internet access was annoying but not a really huge issue for our overnight stay.” Feb 4, 2008 by
David from Hillsboro, OR
“I'm amazed that this hotel is considered the highest star-rating in Boulder. The hotel feels old (which it is), has very small rooms, and tiny bathrooms. I'm not sure if the hotel is getting by on its history or what, but I was very disappointed. I had the courtesy to stop by the front desk to let them know I was checking out, and the desk clerk didn't even ask why, or if there was anything wrong. Amazing.” Jan 23, 2008 by
Eve from Bloomington, IN
“We were quite pleased with our stay at the millennium harvest house. The pool was warm and much larger than a typical hotel pool. We did not use a lot of the facilities, work out room, bar, etc. But they looked nice.” Jan 15, 2008 by
Julia from Laird, CO
“Nice hotel. Quiet and very near university, shopping, trails for hiking and biking. Indoor and outdoor pool and tennis courts as well as work-out room.” Jan 11, 2008 by
Eve from Los Angeles, CA
“I really enjoyed the pool and outdoor Jacuzzi. The furniture and the facility are stuck in the 70's and 80's. Needs new carpet.” Jan 9, 2008 by
Anne from St. Louis, MO
“Our quiet, comfortable room had very nice king-sized bed. The view from the room was lovely, facing Boulder Creek, with mountains in the background. The location was ideal, near U. of Colorado campus, shopping, Downtown Boulder. Hotel personnel's were friendly and helpful; I would happily stay here again.” Dec 12, 2007 by
Ann from Denver, CO
“It's been taken over by Millennium and I think it has improved the quality of it.” Dec 10, 2007 by
Christy from Albuquerque, NM
“Like others said, this hotel is a bit outdated and somewhat run down, but the room I had was nice and accommodated dogs and children. Excellent pool, hot tub, and gym facilities. The lack of a business center was a big downside no free computer or internet access. Front desk staff friendly, but one waitress in the restaurant was so awful we never went back to restaurant (we stayed at the hotel for 8 nights). Definitely not a 3 star hotel, but good for a cheaper price.” Dec 5, 2007 by
Mark from Crestone, CO
“Room felt old in a way that was not charming. I was told that the "superior class" rooms were $30 extra. I assume that these "superior" rooms reflect the "3 star" rating, but the room I was given, in the main tower, was badly in need of renovation - carpet, furnishings, and decor - in order to qualify for 3 stars. I was also surprised to find that Internet access in the room was an added cost. Even Days Inn gives you free Internet these days.” Oct 30, 2007 by
Mindy from Yardley, PA
“The hotel entry is nice and new. The bed was comfortable and room large. However, to get to the room, you have to go down a long hallway which turns into the old hotel hallways. The elevator is old and slow. The room, while large, is old, as well. The AC is a window unit and the bathroom is small and dingy. Plus: 12:00 checkout time.” Oct 20, 2007 by
Jim from Jacksonville, FL
“The hotel was overall very nice. They tried to bill us for 2 bottles of water and a local call which we did not make. They did take off the charge though. I would recommend this hotel and will stay there again in the future.” Oct 10, 2007 by
Rocco from Sandy, UT
“The facade of the hotel is old and dated. The hallways have not been updated in many years and are not very attractive. The rooms are large and adequate. The grounds and recreation facilities are above expectations.” Oct 4, 2007 by
Joe from Indialantic, FL
“I like the hotel just fine and love Boulder, CO!” Sep 27, 2007 by
Vickey from Sellersburg, IN
“I am sure that this hotel was a wonder to behold. Now however, it shows very definite signs of aging. There were multiple stains on the public area carpets. Wallpaper had spots and needed cleaning/replacement in the rooms. The bathroom floor tiles needed serious cleaning/bleaching. A quiet stay but the beds left something to be desired as they were very hard. We were put in a very far away room. The hotel was not full.” Sep 26, 2007 by
Susan from Glenwood Springs, CO
“I would not have been happy if I had paid full price. Not sure if they put discounted rate customers in old out dated rooms or if all the hotel rooms are out of date.” Sep 26, 2007 by
Julie from Denver, CO
“Need work on room service attention to detail.” Sep 25, 2007 by
David from Wellington, CO
“The room was decorated nicely but the large stain in the middle of the carpet was not pleasant to walk on and suggested an overall uncleanly ness. The floor was noticeably uneven with huge sag. I lost my balance due to the unexpected transition from an even floor to a dip. The internet fees as $10 a day, what is that an individual t 1 for me? Get with the times millennium, it should be for free. The computers available to use in the lobby even cost. Ever heard of a business center millennium? The view of the wooden fence that obstructed the view of the flatirons was not fun either. The fence butted up against the rail of my 2nd floor room and extended 4 feet. I would not repeat business with this hotel.” Sep 24, 2007 by
Kent S. from Omaha, NE
“I'm sure this was a very nice hotel in its day. Unfortunately, it is in need of renovation in many of the public spaces and rooms (Hallways, elevators, etc.). The lobby is not an indication of the rest of the facility. Rooms are acceptable other than the uncomfortable mattresses. The bathrooms were very dated although stocked with many nice amenities.” Sep 24, 2007 by
Ij from Houston, TX
“When I first drove up I was really not sure if the hotel was safe. The parking lot and outside of the building looked like they needed repair and some good paint. The side door was left unlock even though a key pad entry box was visibly in site. The staff was very friendly who tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible. However, The door lock did not work several times and I had to call the staff repeatedly for help. The electrical outlets did not accommodate a computer. We made it work by moving several things around. Nice bathroom with extra nice amenities, beautiful bed and area furniture but the carpet needed to be replaced. Overall, it was a nice clean room.” Sep 23, 2007 by
Nick from Concord, NH
“Considering the extent of this large resort-style hotel & its grounds, it is very conveniently located close to heart of boulder. This is a full-service hotel with all amenities - good recreation facilities including full-size pool and tennis, outdoor areas for convivial relaxation & dining, and distinctive restaurant & bars. While the rooms are comfortable & well-appointed, the hallways & common areas would benefit from some refreshment. Also, given the lack of business/office center, it would be better not to charge for internet access. However, very good value overall.” Sep 22, 2007 by
Aps from Gardena, CA
“For a night while visiting our daughter at cu this was the perfect hotel.” Sep 13, 2007 by
Janet from Boulder, CO
“We reserved several rooms for a small wedding party at the millennium harvest house. For the most part, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We did have some difficulty in that we called ahead and were told that two parties could have rooms next to each other, and even told the night before when one party checked in that they would have to move rooms but would have rooms next to each other and even told what the room numbers would be, only to have that party moved to a different wing of the hotel the next day and not adjacent to the requested party. On the other hand, we did receive a decent room upgrade on our wedding night (thanks, in part, to checking in wearing wedding attire), which was nice. The rooms are a bit smaller, lack balconies and have less of a view than other rooms, but are very adequate. Hotel is convenient to the university, and has a better parking situation than the other 3 stars in town.” Sep 13, 2007 by
Rose from Grand Junction, CO
“It was definitely not a 3.5 star hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly, but I would probably not stay there again. I was disappointed.” Sep 13, 2007 by
Grace from Floyds Knobs, IN
“The hotel was convenient for our purposes. The location is good because it's on a main road, but also has a large group of tennis courts, indoor lap pool, outdoor leisure pool, health club, etc. As mentioned, we liked the easy access to the walking path that ran behind the hotel's tennis courts. We used it to reach the Pearl St. Mall and other places frequently.” Sep 7, 2007 by
Mark from Chama, NM
“Very pleasant stay. The kids really liked the outdoor pool/hot tub area.” Sep 7, 2007 by
Jon from Washington, DC
“Great place to stay for the price. Staff was overall quite nice. One day we were allowed to check in early, the other a staff member wasn't so friendly. We had noise from an adjacent balcony bothering us - they moved us very promptly. Excellent pool and patio area.”
