“Ant in the bathroom, ugly bed spread, not enough towels, hole in wall to the outdoor, pillows were very dusty (I have dust allergy).” Sep 3, 2008 by
Dezhi
“Clean room, convenient location.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Loralye from Fort Morgan, CO
“Room was pretty clean, did need to be vacuumed better, was a lot of stuff left on floor that vacuum could have gotten up. Shower door was broken, hair on bath room floor, restaurant was great! Waiter too!” Sep 2, 2008 by
Dave from Flagstaff, AZ
“This hotel will meet all expectations of comfort cleanliness and quality. I would recommend this hotel to my mother and she is the most difficult person in the world to please.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Caleb from Aurora, CO
“The Red Lion Southeast was more of a weekend getaway for me and my wife. The room was clean and neat. When we did speak to any staff, they were kind and polite. We had a good time.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Roman from Dillon, CO
“I have stayed here before many times. I generally have had a good experience. When I went for ice down the hall just before midnight, I came back with ice to find the room card key I took would not work. When I went downstairs to the front desk, a shift change had occurred. The sole desk clerk acted bothered when I explained my predicament. He seemed confused about what to do when he asked me for an ID, and I said "It's in the room with my wallet." He was rude and unprofessional, and if other desk folks acted that way I would not ever stay there.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Rumman from Trenton, MI
“Very good hotel.” Aug 27, 2008 by
Brenda from North Las Vegas, NV
“The hotel was just taken over, but the rooms should really have been renovated before they were sold. They are terrible rooms! Outdated and dirty. The shower did not drain either.” Aug 26, 2008 by
Carlos from West Palm Beach, FL
“Rooms are nice and lobby is pretty impressive.” Aug 25, 2008 by
Tommi from Genoa, CO
“Very nice. I will stay there again on my next trip to Denver. Food was tasty and had large servings. I would recommend to family and friends.” Aug 25, 2008 by
Jennifer from Del Norte, CO
“I would never stay at this hotel again.” Aug 24, 2008 by
Kirsten from Cottonwood, CA
“I would never recommend this hotel. This hotel was dirty and awful. Definitely not a 3 star. i.e. One example would be our bedding. When we returned the bed had been made, the comforter was thrown up over our crumpled sheets. They had restocked our bathroom with only two towels, one washcloth. The bathroom was dirty. Overall we were not pleased at all.” Aug 24, 2008 by
Burson from Farmington, NM
“Great hotel.” Aug 24, 2008 by
William from Bountiful, UT
“I have stayed here 5-6 times over the past few years. I have never had a experience that would make me not want to come back.” Aug 22, 2008 by
Wonjae from Conshohocken, PA
“The Red Lion was not as impressive as other 3 star hotels. The bed was not as comfortable and the bedding was of a 2/2.5 star quality. It was a generally clean facility.” Aug 22, 2008 by
Tama from Elk Grove, IL
“The lobby and the pool were the nicest part of the hotel. The lobby was huge and great to meet someone in and sit for drinks. The pool was outside, but very warm even on a cold day. The rest of the hotel was not that great. Instead of doing all the right turns you need to stay straight on the Van road. Otherwise you will go in endless circles. Seeing the hotel, but not being able to get to it. The rooms were also poor. Pillows looks flat and small, beds were older and out dated, bathrooms do not look like they have been redone since 1990s, and the room was small with no view. The work out center looked great, but needed to be oiled. Most machines were not smooth. The treadmills were the only thing that worked well. The hotel might be good for business travel, but not good for a vacation with family.” Aug 22, 2008 by
Sheryl from Charleston, IL
“This was an exceptional value for our short 3 night vacation. Staff friendly and helpful, nice lobby bar to relax. Only thing is it is hard to found access road first time you go there.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Mello from Colorado Springs, CO
“Overall I liked my stay in this hotel. It was very convenient to shopping and restaurants. The location was a bit frustrating but a minor setback. One of the Reps gave me wrong directions to the Hotel which they should know very well. For the price I got the Hotel for it was well worth it. I would stay there again if necessary.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Gail from Trinidad, CO
“Very comfortable, clean, coffee in room, shower was excellent.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Audrey from Silt, CO
“A little confusing to get into and out as it's at a weird intersection but the help is very nice and our room was adequate.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Julian from Tucson, AZ
“I would never stay at this hotel again. The hotel staff is very rude and not helpful. The room was dirty and the tile in the bathroom was coming up and was not well maintained. I do not recommend this hotel and its definitely not a 3 star hotel.” Aug 17, 2008 by
Teresa from Rolling Hills, WY
“The Red Lion Inn is absolutely huge and caters to every need - family, couples, business. Convenient dining, albeit pricy but worth it. New construction; clean rooms; huge, soft pillow top beds. Outdoor heated pool and hot tub; workout room; in-room internet access; and business center. Very professional and neat appearing hotel. Just off I-25 and the 225 By-pass, convenient to get to any location.” Aug 16, 2008 by
Jerry from Deerfield Beach, GA
“Beautiful exterior and interior public space, but that's where it stops. Bedding and furniture old and tired. Two cheap plastic glasses and paper coffee cups were all that was provided. Maybe it will get better with renovation, but no renovation can improve on its location. Nothing decent near hotel and even then you need to walk under freeways and across entrance and exit ramps to get anything. Many rooms could be very noisy because of Freeways.” Aug 15, 2008 by
Kim from Delta, CO
“This hotel was very clean. We ordered room service twice. The food was average. The power was not working at the time of our stay. We were not informed of this problem when we checked in. We were told this information by another patron. The power problem was not remedied for several hours. For the price the hotel was a good buy.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Theresa from Syracuse, KS
“My daughter got sick and when I asked for assistance to help clean the mess, I waited for 2.5hrs. I finally went into the maids closet and got clean linen and cleaning supplies myself!” Aug 14, 2008 by
Angela from Edwards, CO
“I think it was a great hotel. The staff was nice, great bar, comfortable beds, and the room was wonderful!” Aug 13, 2008 by
Cheng from Ames, IA
“Nice hotel and good place to stay. I like it.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Debra from Meeker, CO
“Red lion had just taken over this hotel. It needs a lot of repairs and updating. The hall ways to my room were very hot, even though my room was cool. The hot water heater's being out were a big problem and their was no offer for my inconvenience. Just pack up and go to a different room to shower. Overall, I expected a little more for a upscale 3 level. I have stayed there before and will most likely stay again.” Aug 9, 2008 by
Jeff from Waterloo, IA
“From the start all was good with friendly check in staff. Nice large open lobby area for many to sit. The pool hours were very good and the water was a great temp. Nice 'free-bies' bottled water, quality soaps etc.” Aug 4, 2008 by
Becky from Lakin, KS
“This hotel was very nice for a mid level hotel! It was very difficult to get to off of I-25 in Aurora. There were some very quick turn offs that are easily missed if you're not in the correct lane. The hotel was very clean, quiet and the staff was very friendly and willing to help. Bell boy only seemed to be there during evening hours because I could not find one in the afternoons.” Aug 3, 2008 by
Steve from Sterling, CO
“This facility, recently acquired by Red Lion from another hotel chain, is attractive, yet could benefit from a thorough inspection for deficiencies. It does not yet require a renovation; however there are many minor maintenance issues throughout that should be addressed immediately for a hotel of this star level to attract repeat customers. There should also be a guest entrance on the North side of the facility for that parking area.” Aug 2, 2008 by
Cathy from Hays, KS
“Slightly difficult to get to if unfamiliar with the area. Staff was very friendly and courteous. All amenities available but we did not make use of them. Would like to go back without children and try out the amenities available. Great place to rest.” Aug 2, 2008 by
Venessa from Cottonwood, AZ
“Easy to get to all major highways. Safe and clean.” Aug 1, 2008 by
Shantel from Cody, WY
“This hotel is horrible! This hotel has no integrity! They did not even attempt to find us another room, they left us stranded. My family (with 3 small children) and two senior citizen in-laws were stranded in Denver with nowhere to stay at 11:00 PM. They were rude and absolutely did not care that they had completely screwed us over. Do not stay here!” Jul 31, 2008 by
Rick from Colorado Springs, CO
“Only stayed one night, but it was a very good experience. Food was good, amenities available (though we couldn't use them because of time), and the shuttle to DIA not only saved us time but gas money.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Roy from Pecos, NM
“I enjoyed the hotel and will go back again. The staff was very helpful and courteous.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Marilyn from San Antonio, TX
“Unable to get help when calling for directions. Hotel was out of ice. Not cooperative about getting any nor giving suggestions. I was told several times that we had two queen beds and could get a roll-away bed. We had 2 dbl beds & were refused roll-bed as against the law. Fire hazard! Asked bellhop about restaurants in area. Asked to use phone to get directions. A woman at front desk very rudely stated 'you can use it but don't go over 5 minutes'! I told her if I had a personal call I would use the phone in my room! The hotel staff (except bellhops) pretty much cast a negative effect over our entire vacation. We had not planned to leave until check out time. Because of rude staff behavior & lack of simple amenities like ice, (we bought our own at a local gas station) we left early. I will never go back to that hotel again. A motel would have been better.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Pam from Stanberry, MO
“This hotel had beautiful, welcoming public spaces, pretty ordinary rooms, no counter space in bath room, both the sleep number beds were broken, the pool was so milky you could not see bottom yet was still open on first day of our trip. They left pool open until third day of our stay then finally closed it. We went to use the hot tub which was fine but there were no pool towels and we asked twice for towels with no results. Definitely not a 3 star experience.” Jul 28, 2008 by
John from Fenton, MO
“The hotel was a mess. The rooms were not available and they could not tell me when I could check in. I gave up at 7:30 PM and stayed at a real hotel.” Jul 26, 2008 by
Amber from Monaca, PA
“Very nice hotel. Rooms were cozy, had wonderful beds. Pool and hot tub were great, but would have been nice if they could have stayed open a little later. Restaurant was wonderful for a morning buffet, food was great.” Jul 25, 2008 by
Tracy from Henderson, NV
“When we walked in we were very impressed. Lobby and restaurant/ business center. Very nice. The room was a little disappointing. Mattresses and decor very motel-like. The air conditioning went on and off and was noisy. Very clean though and overall was a good stay.” Jul 25, 2008 by
Max from Lutz, FL
“The hotel is conveniently located but needs to get it's act together re little things.” Jul 23, 2008 by
Shane from Grand Junction, CO
“I had to attend a Navy Reserve Muster, It ended up being nicely located near Buckley's Air force base and by cherry creek state park. The hotel appears upscale says Red Lion recently acquired it. But there was some issues, the first room was already occupied my wife was embarrassed to walk into and have some scream who's there. When we came back to the lobby to get another room they were nice supposedly set us up with a nicer room whoever we got up to that room and realized they had not yet activated the cards for the room. Other than that the stay was fine, seemed kid friendly too there was a couple of little league baseball teams there. as for our room itself. Appeared nice, but the plastic bathtub knob was broken as in the knob worked but there was only half a knob, the closet doors were really wobbly and the thing that got me the most was even we found a half empty bottle of alcohol underneath the bed it probably would not have bothered me but if not for the fact that my 18 month old daughter had found it.” Jul 23, 2008 by
Cheryl from Danielsville, GA
“Still undergoing renovations, but this hotel was clean and comfortable. We didn't use the pool or the restaurant, but we did order room service - very good food and served hot! My only complaint is with the unaccompanied children in the Business Center who utilized the computers and printers (and used all the paper/toner) so that I couldn't print out our boarding passes!” Jul 23, 2008 by
Lisa from Grand Junction, CO
“I was quite pleased that check in was easy with friendly staff. We stayed for 4 nights Room was comfortable. Bathroom could use a little better cleaning, but over all clean room. Had a problem with sound on one channel of limited selection of channels. Needed more of a selection for viewing. Poll needs to be bigger for the size of the hotel it is. I would definitely recommend a stay for anyone looking to get away for a weekend or longer.” Jul 23, 2008 by
Christi from Kirk, CO
“This hotel is not a favorite of mine, but it's okay. It's easy to see, but a little tricky to drive to (print the directions) decor was a little old and worn, ice machine was broken on our floor, there were some spots on the carpet, and the toilet flushed almost silently, but ran for a long time and made a lot of noise. No big problems, just little annoyances.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Theresa from Pueblo, CO
“Nice presentation, but the room we stayed in needed an upgrade in repairs, decor and air conditioner.” Jul 20, 2008 by
Melinda from Severna Park, MD
“Needs a face lift! Carpet in areas was dirty, had stains from what appeared to be flooding. Areas on walls where pictures had been, not the cleanest hotel. Wouldn't want to stay there again.” Jul 19, 2008 by
Jay from Henderson, NE
“Strange location by the freeway was at first difficult to maneuver. The aesthetic appeal of the lobby was nice, the rooms were about average and the bathroom in need of updating. Elevator down button on ninth floor did not function, so it was necessary to push up button to go down to lobby.” Jul 19, 2008 by
Eric from Grand Junction, CO
“Beautiful and comfortable, but will not stay again until my children are much older. The odor of alcohol from the bar and the behavior of some tipsy people.” Hotel Representatives:
