• Brand new hotel was neat, clean and family friendly.
• Nothing!

“It's definitely somewhere we'd stay again - the free breakfast buffet, the crib for the baby, the pool and Jacuzzi and super friendly staff and free computer use was outstanding!”

• So surprised! Nice hotel exceeded my expectations!
• Pillows were the only problem all of them were down.

• The breakfast and service are great and the rooms are clean.
• They would not change your room type.

“This is a great hotel. However be careful if your booking it on line because they will not change your room type. They will only give you one bed regardless of how many people you are traveling with.”

• The staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel had the best continental breakfast I had ever seen.
• The heating system needs an overhaul we froze the second night there.

“This hotel is accommodating for families as well as business clients. The continental breakfast is excellent and the staff are very friendly. Housekeeping does a great job in keeping the facilities clean.”

• The Continental Breakfast and Coffee all the time is Great.
• Not having newspapers on the weekends. Vending machines usually are out too!

“Very clean, very nice hotel. Computer use in Lobby is great. Very nice friendly staff. Wish there were fans in the bathroom though. Nice to have extra blankets in the rooms to use. I travel with my wife and we have lots of business, and leisure when permitted.”

• Could hear people walking on floor above all night.

“The over all was good. There was not enough insulation or what ever between floors. You could hear people walking around all night on the floor above you.”

• It was very clean, nice presentation.
• We were incorrectly told there was airport shuttle.

“Everything was nice and it was very clean. We were told there was an airport shuttle, and my husband went to meet the shuttle- and was then told by another staff that there was not a shuttle. A mix up I guess, but inconvenient. In spite of that, everything was fine.”

• Modern, cozy, spacious & breakfast was great. Enjoyed our stay tremendously.
• Do not recall being unhappy with any feature.

“We have stayed in several hotels this winter in anchorage but the Fairfield was the most comfortable, spacious room, modern decor, easy to get to & breakfast variety was great.”

• It was new, clean, neat and tidy with professional staff.
• Outside parking area is a bit small and tough to access.

“The Fairfield Inn was a great place to relax after a ten hour airplane trip. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great! Everything was very clean. We wish we could have had the time to use the gym and pool.”

• Excellent breakfast selections, not youre normal "free continental breakfast".
• Jacuzzi warm, but broken, pool was a little on the cool side and way too much chlorine, and we are avid pool swimmers!

“Very nice for a family stay. It is very frustrating when amenities, like pool, whirlpool is not working properly. People like us pick the hotel for the amenities. But overall great!”

• Very good breakfast.
• Breakfast should be served earlier than 6:30 am, due to early flights.

“Very much enjoyed the hotel. Very pretty and clean. Only thing Id change is the time for breakfast. It starts at 6:30 am, but we had to leave for the daily flight to McGrath, AK. Maybe it should be served at 6:00 due to the fact that many people travel to anchorage to do their shopping from the bush. The daily flights leave out very early. Thanks for your help.”

• Convenient location to airport, very clean, and good continental breakfast.

“Very easy to reach from anchorage airport! You don't have to fight Downtown traffic to reach the Fairfield Inn, and there are several good restaurants only a mile or two away. The rooms (and entire hotel) were comfortable and immaculate! The office area was handy if you needed to access a computer; you could curl up in front of the lounge fireplace with a book, relax in the indoor pool or spa, or take care of some laundry. There was a very nice variety each morning at the continental breakfast. You won't go away hungry.”

• I loved the sheets and pillows. Clean and comfortable!
• I would have liked a smoking room. There should be at least a few room smoking.

• Hot tub temps were hot! Very nice!
• One road entry to get to the hotel.

“Large, clean rooms; large bathroom counter space and great shower. Loved the all cotton sheets and down pillows and comforters. Heat was off when we got there and room was cool. Directions to turn the heat o would have been nice. Microwave and frig would have been nice.”

• The exercise room only had 3 machines but was good.

• It was close to everything in anchorage.
• Un friendly hotel staff, not at front desk, you had to call.

“I had the room next to the elevator. We heard it each time it went up and down until about 4 am. Kept me up all night. The front desk people stay behind the counter in another room. You had to ask them to come out; they were never there unless you called. The room was pretty nice, very clean. ”
