“Room is good but the staff I met when checking in was very rude. His attitude was really bad. My girlfriend, who stood far away from us and didn't even hear our conversation, could sense his bad impatient face and attitude.”

• Conveniently located to freeway, restaurants, and mall.
• The room they gave me faced the industrial roof.

“The hotel was nice. The room i stayed in had flat TV, refrigerator, coffee maker with coffee. The desk was business oriented with plenty of connections for laptops, printers and peripherals. The bed was really comfortable. I was relatively close to the elevator, but the room was very quiet.”

• Location was near many restaurants good area of city, received very friendly service, clean environment.
• Mattress was quite uncomfortable, abandoned vehicle near rear door entrance.

“ Homestead Studio Suites is good for a business traveler and adults who need a convenient place to stay overnight. The service is excellent, very friendly staff. Room and facilities are clean. Decor in rooms can be updated along with comfort of mattresses. Very good selection of restaurants close by hotel. ”

• It was very clean with wonderful facilities.
• The bathroom was very small.

“The rooms were clean. The workout area was very nice. The hot tubs were great. The bar was nice and the staff was extremely courteous. It was close to a major interstate (close enough for easy access, but far enough that it wasn't noisy). I would not hesitate to go back.”

• Extremely courteous staff, comfortable room with a great view of the San Gabriel Mountains.
• Ventilation system often times made the room too cold or too hot.

“This nine story hotel is in the perfect location, right off the 210 Freeway and Huntington Drive. The staff is exceptional, the room comfortable and tasteful, and the breakfast great. Having access to the internet and copiers downstairs is also a nice feature. Without hesitation, I would recommend the hotel experience to friends and family!”

• Spaciousness of room.
• Someone's hair was in our bed. No continental breakfast. Thermostat (A/C) was hard to figure out. Bathroom counter not big enough.

“I worry when someone else hair is found on the sheets. This is unacceptable. Sheets are required by the health department to be changed between guests correct? A continental breakfast would have been nice.”

• Beautiful rooms, computer friendly, comfortable beds, wonderful breakfast buffet.
• Poor communication. Where is pool? Can you get breakfast off menu or just buffet?

“We were very pleased with the quality of this hotel. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, as well as upscale. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. I do feel that the communication was poorer than most hotels. We had to ask other guests where the pool was, and whether one could order off a menu for breakfast (all we knew is there was a buffet). The icemaker, we found by wandering around from floor to floor. Usually, all those things are printed in the hotel info book in the rooms. Overall, very happy and would stay there again. Great value for our price!”

• Clean, attractive room in good area of town close to good dining and freeway access.
• Non-operable sliding doors for fresh air.

• The only down side was crib wasn't in room as requested late at night.

“The staff here is extremely friendly. I was greeted by all of the staff when I came in and they made me feel like I was an important guest, even in a t-shirt and flip flops. The room was a very good size and they had everything I could possibly need in it. The internet was free and the desk was big enough for my laptop and papers that I needed to sort through. If you're having problems sleeping there's a sweet little note on the pillow that tells you to call the front desk. They have a good night kit. Fortunately, the bed was so comfortable I didn't need one but it was nice to know that they care about their guests getting a good nights rest. I was pleasantly surprised that this was a Courtyard hotel. I expected the basics and got so much more. This experience has encouraged me to use Courtyard for my future business expenditures. I would definitely recommend it to my co-workers as well.”

• The TV remote didn't work as good as expected.

“The hotel was recently remodeled. The room layout was great, amenities in the room are convenient, and the service is very friendly and attentive. I'd highly recommend this place.”

• The hotel was recently renovated. Allison at the front desk was especially nice, helpful and friendly.
• No complaints at all.

“This hotel was modern, clean, safe and located close to everything (restaurants, gas, shopping and the Santa Anita Racetrack). We all enjoyed our modern rooms with flat screen TVs. The staff was friendly and courteous. Great stay! Would definitely recommend and will be back!”

• The gym was excellent, lots of extras.
• Very close to the freeway. Morning traffic noise was bothersome.

“This is a high quality hotel with lots of extra touches of class. The lobby, gym, and pool area are very nice. The room was excellent with nice pillows. The only thing I would change would be the proximity to the freeway. The morning traffic was irritating.”

“Greeting at check-in was pleasant. I was asked what location room I prefer. King room had comfortable bed. There was a strange odor about the room, like a moldy smell. I could not get the AC control to work right. Fitness room had some nice machines and towels and bowl of fruit. Overall enjoyed my stay at this hotel.”

• Great service, had bar and restaurant and was an excellent hotel.
• Guests were smoking in Jacuzzi.

“The hotel had excellent service with all the employees being really helpful and friendly. There were a total of three Jacuzzis and a moderately sized pool. The hotel was recently renovated and the rooms were spacious with 32" LCD TVs. Overall I am very happy with Courtyard Marriott.”

• Horrible customer service that makes you feel less than human.

“I stayed here before, but back then I had a better stay. This stay was horrible. I left the "do not disturb" sign on the door and night, and the maid STILL tried to open the door, luckily the secondary lock was on, and no one came in. I complained to front desk and was left alone after that. Second bad experience this time around was that I left the "do not disturb" sign on the door, because I dont like people touching my things other than me, and left the hotel at around 1:30pm. I come back at 7pm, and I find that the "do not disturb" sign was taken off, and someone had went in the room and cleaned the bed, and moved all of my things, which really bothered me. Also, they took a pair of my favorite pants and washed them when they were dry clean only! I was furious and complained to the manager. He said he can only give me a voucher for a free stay.”

“This is a nice hotel. The location is a bit problematic since its right next to the freeway, so there's constant noise from that source. The people were very nice and the rooms were immaculate. They've installed wide-screen TVs, but the over-the-air feeds were all standard def stretched across the entire screen.”

• The staff help when they could with disabled child.
• No rooms on 1st level, child afraid of elevator.

“It is an excellent hotel, we were comfortable, it was a little difficult with my grandson because he was afraid of elevator and the stairwell was along ways from our room and he was somewhat fearful of the closed door to the stairs. He is disabled and we had family members to come and help us over his fear. He finally left the room.”

• The staff was very gracious and the lobby was very attractive.
• Breakfast wasn't included and the bathroom sink is in the same room as the toilet and shower. Our son woke up with 3 bites on his back.

“It is much better than it was prior to it's recent remodel. The lobby, hallways, and rooms area much more attractive than they were and the flat screen TV is very nice, but we prefer to pay more and have breakfast included and we prefer rooms with the sink separate from the toilet and shower.”

• Their recently renovated rooms are beautifully done.
• Location is very close to the interstate 210 and is noisy. Air conditioner or heating unit helps drown out the road noise.

“We've been staying at this hotel since last summer while my husband was a patient at the city of hope. With each return trip we saw wonderful improvements. The hotel is 100% complete now and looks and feels terrific. In addition we saved at least 20% on the room fee.”

“This hotel was great for our needs. The rooms are very clean and neat and look upscale. The staff was friendly and accommodated my family very well. Loved the flat LCD television that had the capacity to hook up to your laptop and display on the screen while you're watching TV!”

• Rooms were very comfortable, well decorated and the hotel staff was amazingly friendly and very helpful.
• The rooms appeared slightly small but very were nicely decorated so it made the stay feel more like home.

• Its location to where I needed to be.
• Hair on bed sheets. Slippery shower tub caused me to sprain my hand from the fall.

“The shower tub was slippery and the employees knew of this problem. When I asked for a rubber mat for the shower they provided it. However it puzzles me that they would remove it for my second night after informing the staff that I had injured my hand from falling in the shower. The tub was just too slippery.”

“Some things in the hotel looked worn. TV was small. There was a lot of freeway noise especially during the night other than that we liked the location. Not as good as the Hilton that we usually stay at. Hilton sparkled.”

• This is not a 3 star hotel. The one 3+ star hotel.
• The room was very small and old. Not a fortunately hotel to stay for vacation.

“I don't recommend staying in this hotel, especially if you have kid's). This hotel does not qualify for a "3 stars". It's more like a 1 1/2 to 2 stars.”

“Hotel is in very good location and has easy access to the freeway (I-210). This could be good and bad, sometimes you could hear traffic noise. Not as bad as some travelers make it sound. Room on second floor was a non-smoking floor. Third floor and fifth floors where ice machines were located seemed smoky. Lobby was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Even the gimp traveling with us with a bad back used the bed. The hotel staff was very friendly and helped with anything they could. They were an 'A' on my report card. Overall it was a good experience and not nearly as bad as travel advisor guests make it sound.”
