• Very clean and comfortable. Loved the pillows. Great customer service.
• Everything was pretty much satisfactory.

“Rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for two. Loved the pillows and the fact that there were extras on each bed. Beds were comfortable and slept well. The in-room coffee maker actually made a decent cup of coffee.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• The doors to the rooms were very loud because you have to slam them close.

“The staff was very friendly the accommodations were moderate at best. I had to change rooms because my sink was leaking around the faucet. I was just there on a short getaway, so it served its purpose. Probably will not stay there again.”

• Hard to be critical, stayed there previously, knew what to expect.

“Convenient to Marietta area, long trek if needing to do business downtown. Especially great if you are on a leisure trip and like to golf. On previous visit utilized the dining facilities and they were outstanding. Would go back.”

“Beautiful grounds, nestled near a quaint small town/historical area, yet, easily accessible to the Atlanta and all a large city has to offer. A good location for business meeting as it is, also, a conference center with a golf course on site.”

• Very comfortable beds; nice toiletries.
• Everything was worn, threadbare and old.

“This is an aging Hilton property that is scheduled for a much needed redecoration. It is in a lovely setting and is conveniently close to some pricier areas with good access to main roads. The staff is excellent, well informed about the area. The beds are very comfortable with upgraded sheets and pillows. Room amenities are by Crabtree and Evelyn.”

• The approach was nice from the road.
• It appears to be in transition, things undone, understaffed.

“Last time, this was wonderful, we stayed at a different place. Although the beds were very comfortable and the products for bathing were great, the resort was a great disappointment. It was evident the resort was not full and we were denied a king bed and it was our 32nd anniversary. We had two doubles. Out of 6 times of trying to reach front desk or valet they only answered 1 call. The carpet was dirty throughout, the box springs were open and the drapes could hardly close. The refrigerator didn't work so the leftovers from a very expensive steakhouse ruined. We had a nice welcome from a valet or concierge, but after that it was a disappointment.”

• Nice hotel on golf course.
• Was not in a good location, no restaurants or shopping close.

“The Marriott Marietta Hotel/Conference Center was a nice hotel on a golf course. However it was not in a good location of Marietta. You had a great hotel stuck in the middle of somewhat 'ghetto' area with no restaurants, stores or shopping nearby. You had to go to Cobb Parkway to find anything. It was close to Downtown historic Marietta though, if interested in going to the square. We went to White Water park, which is just a few miles away, and had a great time there. Nice hotel but not good location for families. When we arrived on Sat. there was nobody there (only a few cars in the parking lot and saw very few people). Picked up a little through the week for business people.”

• Old South elegance and overlooks a beautiful golf course.
• Nickled & dimmed. Restaurant was expensive.

“I was looking forward to staying at the Hilton, thinking of some of the others I've stayed at. Well, this one is pretty old but has been renovated so it wasn't too bad. I think it's geared more toward the business class traveler, convention-goer than being family oriented. Internet access was available but we were kind of rudely told that we would have to pay 9.95 for 24 hours, then they tried to charge us for 2 days (we only stayed 1 night). They do have a restaurant but it's expensive. Better to go out and get something reasonable. If you like Mexican, there is a fantastic, genuine Mexican restaurant about 3 blocks away. The hotel has an adequate fitness room with sauna and an outdoor pool (just bring your own towel). The beds were comfortable but the thermostat in our room didn't work right. Either the AC was on all the way or the heat would come on to raise the temperature and smelled funky. Other than that, it wasn't too bad a stay. I just wish I'd brought my clubs because the golf course looked beautiful!”

• There is nothing to like about this hotel. It's way in need of an overhaul. Avoid this property.
• Very dirty, stained carpet, an old, tired, smelly hotel. I can't believe Hilton would put their name on this hotel- was supposed to be 4 star.

“The dirtiest, stained carpet in the hallways, old everything - elevators, room layout, bathrooms. The entire building reeks of stinky smells. The restaurant was terrible. Checked out after the 1st night because we refuse to stay at such a poorly cared for, filthy property.”

• Location, bar and restaurant prices, in room coffee wonderful.
• Room and bathroom small, room was roof level missed some of the wonderful view.

“We stay in the Marietta area to visit 3 kids and grandkids in the area this was the best location I have ever had to this. The hotel location, bar and food was wonderful. It makes me wish I was a golfer. The pool and hot tub was nice but to access it was not the best You walked over carpet to go to and from (wet) and the carpet smelled of mildew.”

• Very pretty lovely grounds with the golf course.
• Mold in the shower, charged for every extra like internet and phone.

“It was a lovely hotel. Staff was very friendly when you could find them or contact them. The walls were paper thin I heard everyone coming off the elevator talking even at 2am. The shower had mold and mildew on the tiles. I was upset in this day and age were internet is included in most hotels I had to pay 9.95 a day for internet and also had to pay 1.00 per call even for 800 numbers. Frankly I expected more from a Hilton Hotel.”

• The outside and lobby were very nice.
• Rooms smelled musty, as well as elevators and hallways.

“We were very disappointed in this establishment. My husband checked in with my 16 year old daughter and they gave him a room with one bed. When he told them he needed two beds, they said they were sold out. My husband asked for another room with either two beds, or a sofa bed and the representative again said we're sold out there is nothing more I can do about it. My husband then suggested a roll away, which they did send up. My husband also ended up in a smoking room, even though he asked for non smoking. The management was very uncooperative at this hotel. We will not stay here again!”

• Youth baseball teams dominating the pool.

• The view across the golf course is beautiful.
• The carpet, decor and wall treatments are old, and some areas smell bad.

“The beds were very comfortable and the room adequately comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The view over the golf course is lovely. I'd love to go back one day when we can golf.”

• It is a nice hotel and has a great lobby and friendly staff.
• The location isn't close to the Cobb Galleria area. It is far from most companies and the I285 loop.

“This hotel's rooms need renovations, but it is a good hotel. All of the other 3-star hotels in Marietta are better, though, because the location is too far. I didn't stay there.”

• Other than the lobby it is very plain. Could use remodeling in hallways.

“Everything was fine with the exception of the tub draining very, slowly and the hair dryer not working. Nice property in a good part of town. Can be difficult to find.”

• It is modern and elegant, yet it has a personal feel to it.
• While parking was plentiful, it was quite a distance to carry luggage.

“I really like this resort. It commands awe as you approach it. While it has elegant decor, the lobby has a very friendly appeal to it. The staff was courteous and helpful. My room was less extravagant than the lobby, but there is history to the property that adds legacy to the resort.”

• Beautiful grand looking hotel and lobby - towels were soft.
• Furniture in room was dumpy and old. Only 1 sliding closet door I can go on.

“The hotel looks beautiful as you drive up towards the front. The hotel lobby again is large and very nice along with the staff being very friendly. When I got in the room my opinion completely changed. The furniture was old and dumpy. The drawers did not fit properly or close correctly. The cabinet hiding the small refrigerator was poorly secure and there was water rotted from the refrigerator leaking. Only 1 sliding door on the closet. I was told that there was free "wireless internet access" in the hotel lobby. It ends up they offer access to a computer at the concierge desk. I brought my computer to get some work done, but was not able to. Did not want to pay extra for in-room internet access. Overall, I was very disappointed with the hotel.”

• Hotel was dated, beds were uncomfortable and sheets were worn out and dirty.

“Its a historic structure so it's to be expected that everything isn't modern. When you walk in it's very nice. Staff is very friendly. But the rooms are dates; sheets were old with dirt on them. Beds were uncomfortable room was dusty. It's one of those hotels that show better online than it actually is. A Comfort Inn would have been just as good as far as the room facilities. Parking was good; area around hotel is not nice.”
