• Morning breakfast was hot.
• Not enough towels for the room.

“Room had 2 towels and you know women need more for hair and stuff like that. Did get swimming towels. No TV channels to pick, I think there were only 10 channels to watch.”

• Everyone was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean.
• The only thing I didn't like was the smoke smell that permeated the hotel.

• It was close to some family restaurant.

“The accommodations were less than satisfactory. As stated above: the door key did not function well, the TV had poor color, there were cracks in the ceiling from prior water leakage, the sink in the bathroom was cracked and the air conditioner had an odor when operating. I will not choose to stay in that hotel again. The Holiday Inn surpasses this hotel, and it is only a 2 1/2 star hotel.”

• I did not like anything about this hotel.
• It was dark, very old and outdated, and there were burn marks on the tub.

“Once I saw the room I left and went to the Hampton down the street. There were cigarette burns on the bath tub and the room was dark, old and gross. After one look at the bed and the shower I left.”

“Meets 2-star rating guidelines. Room was large, bed felt comfortable, all the things worked. Free relatively modest breakfast. Free parking. Very poor wireless internet connection, could not work at all.”

“This hotel is located conveniently near I-70 and National road in Richmond, in. It is very inexpensive, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast buffet is very good, including hot dishes. It has a medium sized swimming pool, which appears to be well maintained. The immediate surroundings of the motel are unattractive (a u haul rental), the rooms look onto parking lots, and the hallways are dark.”

• Hostess in breakfast area was not friendly & a bit rude with the children.

“We had a heat problem in one of our three rooms. They were very prompt in giving us another room. The desk staff was very friendly & accommodating. The hostess in the breakfast room was a bit impatient and nervous with children. The motel was decorated for the holidays and very warm & inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.”

• Not the loveliest location near freeway.

“Lee's inn is our favorite place to stay in Richmond and we have stayed there a number of times. It is always clean, staff is pleasant, the hotel is well kept and quiet and you get a free hot breakfast.”

• This hotel was convenient to interstate 70 and shopping.
• The hotel looked old and run down.

“The hotel looked old and the carpets were dirty and did not look like they had been swept in the entryways and hallways. We were in Richmond for a wedding so we did not use (or even go in) the pool area or the fitness area.”

• Cleanliness of room/comfort of bed (old), outside entry and appearance.

“The appearance of hotel from outside and road into it is very 1 star-like or less. Road has potholes and routes by u-haul (not nice). Outside is outdated and looks old. Lobby was attractive, pool was nice, and breakfast was great. Carpet made feet dirty, room appearance was older and well-used. Bed was not at all comfortable.”

“Disappointing! Even a 2 star should have linens that fit and should clean rooms well enough that dirty bath cloths aren't left on shower rod.”

• Although they had Internet access there was no business center. No free weights in.

“This facility is an excellent value. It is extremely clean and the rooms are comfortable. It is close to a major highway and many choices for dining are in the immediate vicinity.”

• All the staff was very kind I had a clogged toilet & they moved my room no problem.
• The pool area is small.

“I was staying their with my small children & the location was close to shopping which was very convenient. We only stayed one night it was just fine.”

• The desk clerk was very pleasant and breakfast was great.
• The room was too hot when I arrived and smelled musty.

“The staff was helpful and pleasant. The room was comfortable. I didn't hear noise from the other guests. Breakfast was really good. It was close to lots of nice eateries and Wal-Mart without being very far away from I East.”
