“The front desk staff met me at the front door and their excellent service continued throughout my stay. My room was extremely comfortable. Room service was speedy and the food was very good.” Apr 1, 2009 by
Michelle from Farmington Hills,MI “The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were always neat and clean and the staff was very nice an helpful. The beds were a little hard and the pillows were too soft for me.” Oct 19, 2008 by

“Classy, but very hiply-dark, lobby. Very nice staff members.” Oct 16, 2008 by

“If you're a couple or a single business traveler, this hotel is perfect because the rooms are quite nice. Request for the larger rooms if you want more space. It's near Beverly Center and convenient to many LA amenities. Valet parking is quite expensive. All hotel staff is very courteous and helpful.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Carol from Addison, IL
“Beautiful modern, pet friendly hotel, helpful staff, very courteous, great location, across the street from mall, close to restaurants and not to far from Hollywood walk of fame, Sunset strip though a cab or car is needed.” Aug 4, 2008 by
Edward M. from Palm Springs, CA
“Clean, nice and friendly staff, would stay there again.” Feb 6, 2008 by
Darryl from Sioux Falls, SD
“This hotel accomplishes what the W chain of hotels tries to do, but nowhere near as well as the Sofitel. The public areas and rooms are clean and sleek, very "cool" looking without trying hard to be. The rooms were a good size and the bath modern and upscale (although ask for a tub if you want one--I had a great shower but no tub). The staff throughout the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Altogether a great and unexpectedly pleasant experience. You feel very much like you're in an upscale hotel, without all the pretension.” Jan 29, 2008 by
Christophe from Gaucin, CA
“Excellent, very stylish, beautifully designed hotel, not to big, hence quite personal. Excellent food in the restaurant, very good service.” Jan 26, 2008 by
Gary from Elmhurst, IL
“Overall it was a very nice Sofitel, actually preferred the rooms and decor at the Minneapolis Sofitel over the LA one. Seemed like they were trying to hard to be trendy. The room was nice, although the French doors on the front seemed somewhat old and poorly insulated letting in cold air and street noise from Beverly Blvd below. Also right next to a hospital so you could hear sirens a lot. The bathroom rain shower fixture needed a little maintenance too.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Oct 1, 2007 by

“The Sofitel Beverly Hills is conveniently located, near all of the attractions of Beverly Hills & Hollywood (& West Hollywood). It is staffed by helpful, attractive people, who are happy to help with any special requests. One warning: If you need to be in bed before midnight, make sure you get a room on the north side of the building, away from the booming bass of the disco on the front (Beverly Blvd.) side of the building. The rooms are tastefully appointed and the beds are extremely comfortable. The towels (& bathroom) are luxuriant. I would definitely stay there on a future visit to L.A.” Sep 29, 2007 by
Daniel from Laredo, TX
“There is no privacy between the rooms. I could perfectly hear the TV. Show on the room next to mine. The valet staff very friendly and always kind to help out with directions.” Nov 22, 2005 by
Del from San Diego, CA
“The hotel was being remodeled, so I didn't expect much of the lobby. The rooms we decent. but small. The bed was very comfortable, but the only internet connection they had was dial up. It made my work while I travel very difficult. The front desk clerk did offer for me to go down to the lobby and work off of their wireless connection...but that did not work for me. I hope it gets better after their remodel.” Nov 2, 2005 by
John from La Jolla, CA
“The hotel a little bit disappointing, it was undergoing large renovations, so much of the 4-star atmosphere got lost.” Nov 2, 2005 by
Dan from Duvall, WA
“will probably be a good hotel once the construction/remodel is done.” Oct 27, 2005 by

“The Sofitel Beverley Hills is nicely located (Next to Beverley Center/Mall) and is nicely appointed, with French doors in my room, nice bathrobes and most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.” Aug 10, 2005 by
Nico from Woodburn, OR
“The hotel has great service and the rooms where great.” Jul 28, 2005 by
Rich from Plainview, NY
“Very nice place with good service, beautiful rooms and great location. Across the street from Berverly Center (very upscale mall) and the Hard Rock Cafe.” Jul 20, 2005 by
Harto from Santa Clara, CA
“The hotel is very nice, very European-looking. Beds are comfortable, if not too soft, but overall very nice. There is no coffee-maker in the room, plus the hotel is undergoing renovation. The support staff is not too friendly and do not go out of their way to help.” Jun 11, 2005 by
Karl from San Diego, CA
“Overall, a wonderful experience. Lovely accommodations. Excellent restaurant. I look forward to my next stay.” Mar 16, 2005 by

“Nothing special and it needs refurbishing badly.” Nov 11, 2004 by
“We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel. Their dining room and food was excellent, we did not have to leave the premises if we did not want to. It was fortunate that we were exactly in the area we needed to be for our appointment the next morning. It was a great stay.” Nov 10, 2004 by
“Very accommodating staff and ideal for our needs for this trip” Oct 1, 2004 by
Kristi R. from Peachtree City “The location of the Sofitel was ideal for our travel plans. The hotel is very comfortable and I particularly liked the soothing decor. Housekeeping and maintenance seemed understaffed. Our room wasn't cleaned one day at all until housekeeping came by later for turn-down service. The hair dryer broke but no one from maintenance responded to my call until I called back the next day. And for some odd reason the power went out in part of the room. They got that back on pretty quickly. The valet staff was exceptional. The staff at Gigi's restaurant was very accommodating when we flew in the door and needed a quick breakfast. Within 10 minutes they put together a box breakfast and drinks to go that was wonderful. The maintenance guy that showed up after my second phone call was very polite and helpful.” Sep 20, 2004 by
Chris C. from New York City, NY “The hotel was in a great location, across from the Beverly center, had very good services. The room was fine, nicely appointed, the bathrooms could use a little modernizing. All in all a very good hotel” Sep 20, 2004 by
William H. from Boulder, CO “Very nice chain hotel. Well appointed (though not exceptional) room, good central location.”
