“Great location, friendly staff and easy navigation of facilities.” Oct 20, 2009 by
Rena from Kapolei,HI
“We arrived late at night and left early the next morning. However, the short time we were there was awesome. Very friendly staff. The bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get up.” Oct 16, 2009 by
Josh from Cedar Rapids,IA
“Good experience overall.” Oct 9, 2009 by
Jay from Centennial,CO “ Generally helpful and receptive to my needs. However, I required a single page printout of a PDF and they wouldn't print one out, instead directed me to the business center which would have cost 6.95 for the single printout. ” Oct 7, 2009 by
Darra from Chicago,IL
“Very happy. Would stay again . Not isolated due to $3 trolley service. Laundry machines available. Fast houseman and prompt service on all requests. Great pizza.” Sep 22, 2009 by
Michelle from Sacramento,CA
“The rooms the hotel use for Priceline customers were crappy.” Sep 17, 2009 by
George from Bolton Canada,CA “When we got to our room the remote for the TV did not work, so we called for maintenance to come and fix it. They arrived promptly but after 3 trips and 4 or 5 remotes they still couldn't fix it. By this time we were on our way out for dinner and when we returned it still hadn't been fixed and now there was no remote in the room so early next morning I had to tell the front desk about this so we wouldn't get charged for a remote. The special sleep number bed they advertised was the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in recently.” Sep 2, 2009 by
Kyu from Knoxville,TN
“The hotel is mostly good for business trip.” Sep 1, 2009 by
Kristi from Huntsville,AL
“The hotel met our expectations.” Aug 20, 2009 by
Les from Champlin,MN
“Convenient and beautiful.” Aug 15, 2009 by
Roz from Calgary,Canada
“Excellent hotel, convenient shuttle, staff excellent! Everything was perfect.” Aug 14, 2009 by
Steve from Flushing,NY
“A very well kept, clean hotel with great staff. The restaurant was excellent and the location was perfect for my stay.” Aug 14, 2009 by
John from Tulare,CA
“Sent me to two diff. dirty (unmade beds, room service plates,no towels etc.) rooms before finding me a room that had been serviced, refused help for handicapped, room was marked "No Smoking" and reeked of smoke("sorry no other rooms"), rude staff, management could care less about complaints, parking was valet only and not noted as such. I should have just gone to another hotel.” Aug 12, 2009 by
Glenn from Prescott,AZ
“This is the worst 3 star experience I have ever had. After a long days drive, I was greeted with poor directions to a parking ramp two blocks away from the hotel. Not only did I have to put up with the inconvenience of parking off site, but I had to pay the full rate for general parking. The parking ramp they said they were building, was not even being worked on for the three days I was there which apparently was a building permit problem they had. In addition, the elevators were not working right, the TV was difficult to turn on, the ice machine was not working right and had created a puddle on the carpet, the air return vents had not been cleaned in the last few years, and the hallways did not appear to be clean. They did deliver a free USA Today paper each day and there was plenty of hot water, but this is not a 3 star hotel.” Jul 15, 2009 by
Jess from Arlington,TX
“It was a great stay for the time I was there.” Jul 14, 2009 by
Brandy from Las Vegas,NV
“Very good, would stay there again as long as AC was working well.” Jun 24, 2009 by
Harold K from Pflugerville,TX
“Had to walk from terminal seven both times because the transportation from the airport was full and they would skip the stop at terminal seven.” May 20, 2009 by
Lisa from Fresno,CA
“Nice clean beds and large bath. Common areas are lovely. The staff needs a refresher course on customer service. The line to check in was 4-5 deep and only one desk agent. Checking took way too long.” May 12, 2009 by
Dan from Walnut,CA
“Good solid hotel for the great Priceline price that I paid. Friendly valet people, front desk was also nice. Room was pretty clean and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in a similar situation.” May 7, 2009 by
Marcus from Hinsdale,NH
“I stayed at the Radisson on a Sunday night before my 7 am flight departing LAX. Check-in was fast and easy, and the elevator took me up to my 9th floor room very quickly and smoothly. The room was spacious, brightly lit, and quite pleasant after a day of travel. I had a king size bed with a fancy form fitting mattress accessory I was too tired to make use of. The windows were large and looked out over an empty construction site of some sort. I found it to be peaceful and a reasonably pleasant view. The bathroom was clean and spacious, though the tub/ shower faucet was a little difficult to operate. The television was a good size and the cable offerings were substantial, though the movies were a little expensive. The cabinet that the TV was in was also a little awkward to work with. All in all it was a very pleasant stay for such a short time!” May 5, 2009 by
from Los Angeles,CA
“I enjoyed my stay. I checked in with no hassle, they gave me a room with an amazing view. The staff was very friendly and the shuttle service was great.” Apr 20, 2009 by
Liz from Stanford,CA
“The Radisson LAX is okay, but not great. I've certainly stayed at nicer 3 star hotels. The night I arrived, I tried to take a shower but after waiting for over 5 minutes, the shower did not warm up. The TV would not turn on either. I was exhausted so I just went to sleep. I tried the shower again the next morning and still no hot water. I informed the front desk about the issues and that evening when I returned the hot water was working, although the TV was not.” Feb 20, 2009 by
Adriana from Los Angeles,CA
“The staff was very professional helpful. Checking in was very quick. We had a wonderful time. I would definitely stay there again.” Feb 18, 2009 by
Carol from Yucca Valley,CA
“I hope to never stay here again. The staff was mostly friendly but we had 2 rooms and they were at complete oposite ends of the hall which was very long. The parking was non existent and the valet was rude and offered no help. We had to go find public parking in a very congested area and walk for blocks back to the hotel late at night after going to a concert.” Feb 11, 2009 by
S.A. from North Hollywood,CA
“Hotel was okay. I would stay there again. The negatives outweighed the positives. No public parking...had to pay $20 for valet. TV's are small and old with a bad picture and very few channels.” Nov 22, 2008 by
Michelle from Dallas
“The staff at the front desk are less than friendly and they offered me no resolution to the following issues. (1) The elevators are in serious need of repair - they are noisy and one would not stop on my floor (5th) and I was forced to just get off on the wrong floor and take a different elevator. (2) You cannot use a card to purchase anything less than $10 from the shop and they do not allow room charges (so no bottled water for me!). My room was okay, but (3) there was a broken (leaning) lamp in it and the (4) TV is ancient, has a loud buzz and most channels are fuzzy (looks like local channels only - very few to select from).” Sep 23, 2008 by
Brian
“The Radisson was extremely convenient. Venice Beach, Lake Shore Golf course, and dining were within minutes. The staff was friendly and responsive. I would definitely choose the Radisson again.” Aug 23, 2008 by
Sue from Los Angeles, CA
“A good stay for those taking an early flight from LAX or between flights. Hotel offers shuttle from LAX to hotel every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day. Room service was acceptable, staff friendly - but 20% service already tacked to bill so don't add tip unless you want an overpriced experience.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Philip from Chelmsford, MA
“The room: Entry light was burned out. Light socket and light bulb on the floor lamp was broken with wire hanging out, plugged in the wall. Wall lamp was not functioning at the time. Internet router has no power cable. One of the air mattress was deflated completely overnight. Parking: construction debris. Narrow space, hard to open doors when parked. Worst of all: Average waiting time for an elevator is 30 minutes and plus, it only stops at 1st floor and top floor restaurant. Have to use stairs from 6th floor to 1st floor, and up to the 6th floor to bring luggages down.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Jason H. from Perth, WA
“I've stayed here a few times now and the hotel and surrounds seem to slowly degrading. Having said that I enjoyed the hotel for the price. I didn't get to see the pool and exercise areas to comment on them. The sleep number bed was quite uncomfortable for me and I tried a few different numbers to no avail. Overall I enjoyed my stay there.” Aug 7, 2008 by
Alice from Bakersfield, CA
“We were flying out the next day and wanted to be close to the airport. The best thing was that you didn't know you were at an airport. The windows were double thick and you couldn't hear any planes. Beds were sleep number (we loved them). Room was clean and nice, sufficient for a quick one night stay.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Tami from Temecula, CA
“I have now stayed at 3 Radissons over the past 2 years, a few of them newly remodeled.” Aug 1, 2008 by
Bert from Townsend, DE
“The entire hotel needs to be dipped in Purell and then power washed. After that, it needs a paint job from top to bottom. They certainly did not care about my concerns. I stayed there for 14 days with my wife and children. They had an adult station (24 hour hard core pornography) that they could not block, even after two complaints. I have stayed at Radisson before. They are usually pretty good. The only way to fix the problems is to tear down the hotel, rebuild it, then fire the entire staff.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Christin from Woodbury, NJ
“Was great for a quick overnight to wait for my flight to leave. Not where I would want to stay for an extended visit to LA, but was great for a single traveler. It was in a safe and well patrolled area, close and convenient to LAX, and clean.” Jul 28, 2008 by
Kathhy from Brossard, QC CA
“I have surprises like that.” Jul 23, 2008 by
Jake from Jersey City, NJ
“My bathroom had a strange odor, like rotting vegetables. Some of the staff was kind of dumb. They couldn't figure out their computer system. For the price it was fine, but I'd never ever pay retail to stay at this place.” Jul 23, 2008 by
Brent from Mill Creek, WA
“Hotel was clean. Rooms were large and comfortable, except for the windows. Rooms were very quiet. We were surprised with it being right next to the airport runway. Very convenient location. Hotel parking was expensive. Overall I was satisfied with what was provided.” Jul 20, 2008 by
Amy from Berea, OH
“Room was terrible. It smelled musty and the TV did not work. We were told we could not have a different room because none were available. Then we discovered drywall debris in the tub from recent remodeling. We demanded something be done and magically, another room was available. I would NEVER stay at this hotel again.” Jul 20, 2008 by
Stev from Jersey City, NJ
“Hotel was easy to locate, and a good value for the money. Free internet access has just been added which is great for the business traveler.” Jul 18, 2008 by
Quinn from Montreal, QC CA
“The hotel was adequate for an overnight transit. I had to call maintenance twice, once for the water pressure (a regulator was removed) and once for the TV reception (was inexplicably fixed). Service to my room was fast and very polite. The hotel staff is very efficient. The decor is rather shabby and outdated compared to others in its class, but the beds certainly are very comfortable and I had a lovely undisturbed nights rest. Despite this, I left with a bad taste in my mouth, as I was hit with a transfer charge for the airport shuttle, which had previously been a courtesy. There was no mention of this prior to check in or at any point during my stay.” Jul 16, 2008 by
Larry from Henderson, NV
“The elevators were terrible and being on the 9th floor, stairs were not an option and when brought to the front desk's attention. The response was : we are sorry, we are working on it. We spent almost 2 hours waiting for elevators. The carpeting in the room was very dirty.” Jul 14, 2008 by
Sara from San Leandro, CA
“The hotel is very near to LAX. Room is big enough for us and 3 big suitcases. The hotel is non-smoking but for the first we got, we could smell the smoke. Called the reception if we could change it and got a new room with no smell. Staff was friendly. The only thing I don't like about this hotel is that they charge parking fee of $13 per day even though you're hotel guest.” Jul 9, 2008 by
Lisa from Kailua, HI
“I had called ahead to ensure that my dog (German shepherd) would be welcome. I was told he would be but when I arrived, I was told otherwise. The clerk agreed to make an exception since he would be there for just a few hours. The staff was very professional in resolving the mix-up at the eleventh hour. The property itself was fine and I enjoyed my stay and the sleep number bed was very comfortable.” Jun 30, 2008 by
Angela from Salinas, CA
“The hotel had installed a water system that controlled the hot water. The system did not work it was either very hot or very cold. The noise from the airport made it unbearable to sleep. The facilities were dirty and in need of maintenance.” Jun 16, 2008 by
Sara from Santa Clara, CA
“This place had the feel of a formerly nice place that had lost its heart. Even the chandaliers had broken crystals hanging down. The elevators were a mess - several were completely broken, others refused to stop on certain floors. The last straw was when the next guests were trying to come into the room prior to our even checking out. Sadly they didn't speak English so they were quite confused. When we did checkout and complained the desk clerks were also confused because the computer said the room was already clean and ready. There was no receipt available and they don't know where our restaurant charges went to. I'll take back all my complaints if I never get charged.” Jun 16, 2008 by
Dan from Pleasant Grove, UT
“I have never stayed in a worse hotel in my life. The staff was rude and not willing to help. We had to wake up the Valet twice to get our car and the elevators did not work most of the time.” Jun 16, 2008 by
Allison from Upland, CA
“Close to lax. Free shuttle. Room was pretty nice.” Jun 8, 2008 by
Melissa from Vancouver, WA
“This Hotel is beautiful in the lobby. The rooms are in need of repair! We had to move twice and meet people on the elevator with the same experience. They never cleaned the bathroom and it had dirty washrags and cups from the people before us.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 26, 2008 by

“Close to Lax and townie things shops food etc. Use the free trolley service to negotiate the Manhattan beach local.” May 25, 2008 by
