“Hotel was fine, however, the staff twice accused me of smoking in my room, to the point of embarrassment. I'm a non smoker and have been for 25+ years. I was accused, however, no one ever bothered to walk in my room when I was there or bothered to smell any of my cloths. Completely un-professional and uncalled for. The entire staff I spoke with 2 security guards and 2 managers were rude, said they had pictures of me smoking, but of course couldn't provide them as they didn't exist.”

“Unless one knows the LAX area very well, this hotel may seem impossible to find, even after several trips in and out of the hotel. The rooms are nicely appointed, if Spartan in providing extra niceties. The staff may prove less than responsive.”

“A great hotel with a great price. Not for family and kids. A poor jim room and I think its rood you need to pay for the parking (13$ a day) even though you stay in the hotel, and of course you don't know about it until you get there.”

  • Carpet is dirty, not enough king bedroom.

“This is a nice hotel conveniently located next to the airport, grocery is only 10 minutes away. The room is pretty quiet (the windows are doubled insulated) compared to the crown plaza hotel and they have 4 bath towels in the bathroom compared to only 2 in crown plaza; however, they don't have enough king size bedroom, or they don't give out any of the king room above 5th floor if you don't pay for the full hotel price. I and my husband has to sleep in the two double beds room. I think they should honor our request and give us the king rooms if they have them available. It's nice to have a fitness center, but it would be nicer to have some free weights too.”

  • Bathroom ceiling had been worked on. Bathroom had caulking and chalk still on it from work. Floor had chalk too.

“Hotel is dark but close to LAX. Hotel needs renovation and facelift, especially in the room I stayed in. My bathroom ceiling had been worked on, repainted and recaulked. It needed cleaning after the work. Smelled like paint. Staff was very friendly. Area safe. Restaurant pricey but good food.”

  • Major alarms went off @ 4am ~ very disturbing. No accommodation or recompense offered.

“Nice place, comfortable beds, clean, staff was pleasant in most every sense of the word. A bit overpriced in the restaurant for the quality provided. Did not care for the television "system". Whirlpool far too small. Overall a little overpriced for what it is.”

  • Convenient Radisson location.
  • Usually non accommodating for king size bed.

“Radisson did not have a king size bed only doubles. 1st room had horrible air mattress totally uncomfortable better off sleeping on the floor or in a car. Requested another room without air mattress sent to another room with air mattress again. By this time I would figure a room upgrade for my inconvenience. Finally got to room with normal double beds. Radisson loses the Air mattresses your customers are better off sleeping on the floor.”

“I was very disappointed with this hotel. I wasn't told I would have to pay for parking which just added to the price of the hotel. This did not make this a good price for a hotel. They were having a convention at the time so parking was a nightmare. I have a large SUV and trying to park was terrible. The shower head leaked like crazy. The television channel were very limited and I had two kids with me and no kids channels. Then the next morning half the channels they did have were blank. It was about the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. The best of it all was the parking attendants who went out their way to help find parking for me and also park it for me.”

  • I didn't like the access because I had to drive towards the airport before I could turn around to get in.

  • Phone in room not working upon arrival, no pen, needed more towels.

“The location is excellent, if you need to be near the airport. The room was quiet, even though right across from the landing strips. The room was clean and well appointed, though the wallpaper was in need of repair and one half of the sheer curtain was missing. Room phone was not working upon arrival and there was no pen provided with the paper at the desk, even after we let staff know.”

  • Cashier in lobby shop on phone why helping me. Very distracted.

“I had to be up at 3:30 AM. The shower was scolding hot and very uncomfortable to be in. The previous night when in the gift shop, I thought I handed the clerk a twenty and she thought a ten and I accepted the change. But it was just very distracting with her answering cell phone and regular phone while helping me. Very frustrating. I would probably choose one of the other hotels in the future. Also the elevators take long from the upper floors.”

  • Shower system very poor. Temperature monitors cause cold water to start unexpectedly.

“We are not likely to return to this hotel. The beds weren't very comfortable, and the shower system is awful. Temperature regulators cause cold water to come on unexpectedly in the middle of a hot shower. Also, housekeeping knocked on the door at 7:20am. Front desk staff not very understanding and appeared unconcerned.”

  • Clean room. Great beds, decent enough bathroom. Surprisingly quiet despite sitting next to a runway.
  • The interior hallways seemed a little drab.

“This little hotel sits smack next to one of LAXs runways, yet the extra window panes kept the room extremely quiet and comfortable. The way the extra windows are attached seems like an afterthought though. The Select Comfort beds were a nice touch, and bathrooms were decent with good water pressure. My only complaint is that the interior is completely forgettable. Seems like a refresh would be appropriate.”

  • Beautiful lobby, wonderful restaurant, very close to the airport.
  • We were unable to use the swimming pool and hot tub. The advertised fitness center was always closed. There was no heat in our room. No water press.

“The hotel was very handy if you were staying at the airport. We were not interrupted by airplanes during our sleeping hours. There was a nice coffeemaker in the room but no 'frig or microwave or free breakfast. $13 charge for parking - OUCH. You should have told us that before we bid on the room. Our room was always cold - after several calls to get help, we just got more blankets. The water pressure in the shower made it almost impossible to get the shampoo/conditioner out of your hair. We weren't allowed in the fitness center and neither the swimming pool or hot tub had heat. The swimming pool was full of branches and other debris.”

“This was my second weekly stay in a month. The food was excellent. I found the entertainment lacking for the holiday.   • Hotel had very nice airport views and was within walking distance to LAX which was fun to visit.
  • Parking absolute rip-off! ,only option offered is paying full $13/day price at commuter lot on premises, also no Wi-Fi, bad elevators.

“I liked the convenience and the views at the Radisson LAX. It is the closest hotel to the airport, and is an easy 10 minute walk to the airport, also a shuttle bus comes by about every 15 minutes. Apparently many of the rooms also have sleep number beds but ours did not. In room internet access is free, but only by LAN cable, Wi-Fi only available in the lobby, costs $17/day and wont work on many systems due to it being an old outdated setup. The room was decent, just a plain clean room with an ok TV, and nice big windows. I would recommend staying here, however depending on whether you have a car or not you may want to think twice. Parking is in the on site commuter airport parking lot, which at $13 a day is the second highest rate around out of over a dozen nearby parking lots. There is limited on street parking available overnight, however, you may have to park as far as a 10 minute walk, you cannot park overnight until after 10pm, and you must move your car by 10 AM.”

  • Called for directions on the way and after being given to three different people, we got incorrect directions.

“We didn't get a sleep number bed, not that we wanted one, but that is there big advertisement draw at this particular hotel. The bed was very comfortable though. Although we didn't stay at the same hotel that they did. We were all very satisfied with the hotels we got!”

  • Non-smoking rooms had smoke smell, Shower did not have hot water for three days, Parking fees - US$ 13.night are very steep.

“We were in a non-smoking room, but, there was lot of smoking smell causing us headaches. On complaining the bed sheets, etc. were changed and it became better. Internet access is available which is great. We did not eat in the restaurants so we cannot comment. In the last 3-days, there was no hot water. Parking fees are included in price of many hotels, but, here we had to pay a separate charge of US$ 13/night which is very steep. I think Radisson should refund 25% of the amount paid to them for hotel and also the Parking Fees.”

“The Hotel Staff at the Radisson LAX were very kind, professional and helpful. I needed an early check-in on New Year's Day and they were willing and able to accommodate my request. The hotel has only 10/ten non-smoking rooms. I was thankful to be offered one.”

  • It had a great restaurant - we were very surprised. It also had a fun lounge on the 12th floor.
  • It overlooked the rental car lots of LAX.

  • Very clean, beds comfortable, and very quiet - considering its right by the airport!
  • Some of the exteriors are a bit run-down.

“This location is very clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was granted an early check-in, and a late check-out - very flexible! It is definitely designed primarily for business travelers; thus, (the only downside to my visit) I was disappointed that the internet connection in my room did not work, and the lobby wireless alternative was EXTREMELY slow!”

“Big thanks to previous reviewers for your input! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel; it exceeded my expectations by far. Newly renovated with contemporary decor, good bed linens and comfy beds. The picture window provides a great view of the landing strip at LAX - beautiful view at night. The hotels located directly across the street from LAX making it perfectly located for a stay before a morning departure. Lots of restaurants, shopping etc in the area. The only negatives I experienced were skimpiest towels in the bathroom and a stale chocolate croissant in the lobby lounge in the morning. Both minor issues to be sure.”

  • It was in the perfect location for our needs.
  • They would never answer the phone when I called from my room; I had to call the hotel directly on my cell phone.

“Though this is a nice hotel, the fact that the valet sat and watched me unload my car (actually stood by my trunk and watched me) and they would not answer the phone when I called from my room. Has left a bad taste for us.”

  • parking is not free for Hotel Guests.
