  • Room was small and did not have the sleep comfort bed that Radisson adv. No lamp for desk.

“Convenient airport, kind of tired, small room, helpful staff, and room smelled of air freshener, windows wouldn¿t open so it was stuffy. The hotel was right at the airport and was still quiet. Shuttle every 15 minutes ran on time. Did not have the sleep comfort bed that Radisson advertises as in all their hotels. It was "ok".”

  • Staff not accommodating. Room very stuffy. No breakfast.

“Staff refused to accommodate my request for a queen or king bed. My husband and I are not small people and they put us in a room with two small beds. The hotel was not filled up and I find it hard to believe that in a hotel this size there wasn't one room with a queen or king bed.”

  • The concierge was smart and helpful.
  • Desk service was surly, pool filthy, staff indifferent and beds uncomfortable.

“This is a worn property with poorly done updates in a good location. The restaurant strives for mediocrity but rarely attains it. With the exception of the concierge, the staff is indifferent and surly. Treating every promise and guarantee as merely a suggestion that they don't have to honor. If you need a hotel near the airport, there are several others very close by. This is a 2 star property at best.”

  • The location and the lobby were fine.
  • The staff were very unfriendly and acted put out if you asked them for directions or recommendations.

“The staff were not friendly and rudely spoke Spanish to each other when not speaking to me. I used the Business Center for the internet and the entire time the employees spoke loudly to each other, on the phone, or into walkie talkies, entirely in Spanish. It was so loud in there I could not think. I feel that while working in an American establishment they should speak our native language, English, which they are excellent at, and save their Spanish for after work hours. When asking for directions or instructions they were impatient and rude. I hope that this is my first and last experience with Radisson hotels.”

  • They don't have their own airport transportation. They share with another hotel.

“The dining room was very good. The food was good and the service was excellent. It's an older hotel and the rooms weren't that hot. Beds weren't that comfortable. One interesting fact was the double pained windows that made it impossible to hear the airplanes right outside the window.”

  • No coffee maker in the room.

  • Short distance to airport with shuttle.
  • Not able to confirm non-smoking room and two bed available until check in.

“ Very busy business property, $17.00 parking fee per day. Called prior to arrival to block room request, was told again to come and check in to guarantee. At arriving from airport was told no non smoking two bed rooms were open, I then asked to be moved to another property. After 10 minutes of waiting, I was informed that for $25.00 upgrade charge that they could get me the room I wanted. Suddenly it's appeared out of thin air, what a scam!”

“For a Radisson, I was surprised by the inconvenience of this hotel. The exercise room was outside. The nearest door was locked until 6:00 a.m. So the early risers had to walk from the far end of the building, outside, in a dark alleyway by the pool and out to the gym. The equipment was low to mid-quality (not exceptional). There was no scale or water available in the gym and the television often didn't work (satellite TV only in the gym). In addition, the hallway near my room often smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and the room service menu was very limited. The food ordered on three nights was well made and delivered promptly. The room itself could not be heated to a comfortable temperature (although I cranked the heat to 88 degrees, I think it never got be much more than 60). Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. There are many others in the area that do a much better job (west in, Sheraton).”

  • At least one thing was missing from each room we were in.

“We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights and had to be moved 3 times! First room was awful--bed was old and a mess; second room phones were not working and they messed up our wake up calls; third room was nice but didn't have a keyboard for us to use the internet. I know we don't want to stay there again. ”

  • They should improve the shuttle service.

“I needed to take a shuttle from lax to the hotel. Although it was a very busy day at the year end, I was made to wait for 45 minutes outside the airport to grab a shuttle. It was supposed to be operated every 15 minutes and I could see a number of shuttles for other hotels passing in front of me. They should definitely improve the shuttle service.”

“The front desk clerk was absolutely nasty and could not find the reservation. He turned me over to someone else who used the confirmation # to find it and then things got better. The rooms were okay, nothing great and generally clean. Restaurant was over priced and food was fair at best. Parking was expensive.”

  • My wife and I were placed into a 2 double bed smoking room that stunk.

“Room #547 on the 5th floor. The psycho check in lady stuck my wife and me into a 2 double bed smoking room with no view. The smoking stink was so bad that my wife and I could not sleep and felt sick the next day. We only had 6.5 hours to sleep before heading out for our next flight, so we did not complain because we didn't want to wait another hour to try and sleep.”

“Room #1123 on the 11th floor facing away from the airport with no view. There was a constant sound of running water in the wall behind the bed for the entire night. So much for sleeping. The provided airport shuttle direct to the terminals was extremely helpful, since the hotel is not located as closely as indicated on their website.”

“Although this hotel is a little bit old, it meets my expectations for a 3-stars hotel. It is just next to lax. Parking is $13/day, but internet is free. Overall, I would rate this hotel 9/10!”

“The Radisson is a standard, business hotel, but looked a bit shabby - the carpet in the room, bedcovers and bathroom all looked as if they needed a good clean or replacing. However, the beds were comfortable and we did not hear the 'planes.”

“The first room they gave was terrible. I requested a non smoking room but the room was smoked in at one time. The room was in poor shape. The wireless internet wouldn't work and had 2 get it person from staff to fix but couldn't. Then after requesting a different room because of the above reasons they gave me another room which should had been the choice first. It was better furnished and not run down like the first room. This was the first time something like this happened to me using your service. I know I will not stay in that hotel when I go back to la.”

  • Great hotel for the price we paid through. If we had gone through the hotel, the rate would have been significantly higher.
  • Self parking was expensive.

“Hotel was great. Would have liked wireless internet in the room instead of wire being connected to the computer (I like to lay down when using my laptop). The room was nice. The staff was nice. Clean. The self parking was expensive, but they made a mistake and only charged us twice (out of 6 days that we stayed there). If we had paid for 6 days of parking, it would have been ridiculous! Overall, great stay.”

“Hotel is very good for business travelers, but for leisure travelers as well, because it lies near the airport (LAX) and the rest of L.A. can be easily reached by car as well. Hotel rooms are nice and clean, large enough and not noisy. Staff is very friendly. Certainly recommended!”
