  • Had a very good meal in the bar which was pleasant.
  • Bedding was limp and did not contour to the bed, room was not clean.

“Although it served my purpose as to proximity to the airport it was not a pleasant experience as it was dirty, with very poor mattress and bedding. I would not want to stay in that hotel again.”

  • 24 hour room service with quality meals.
  • The elevators were ridiculously slow and there were no inspection reports posted.

“Conveniently located near lax, though possibly a bit too close. The muffled sound of airplanes could be heard through the walls. The penthouse lounge was quite nice with a nice view of LAX's encounter restaurant. The lobby was spacious and concierge services were friendly and prompt. Several guests complained about the elevators. The average wait time was 10 15 minutes and they did not always stop at the floor selected. This is an issue that needs immediate attention as it could pose a safety concern. My impression was that the staff was well aware of the issue, but gave it little importance.”

“Nice hotel. Beware though. Subtract $20 from the price you want to pay because they will give you a mandatory charge of about $20 when you get to the hotel.”

“Very handy for LAX and this area of LA. All sorts of problems with room internet and foyer internet cost is a rip-off - not helpful for a business traveler. Otherwise an OK residence but nothing special.”

“I would never stay at this hotel again. I had to change rooms 3 times; there was a leak in one of my rooms that ruined most of my clothes. They changed my room and dry cleaned my clothes and then the charges were on my bill. It was a hassle to get it strengthens out as with every other issue. 8 days out of my seven days, I did not receive any wash cloths in my room. I have lived in hotels for the past 2 years because my job is 100% travel this is the worst 3 star hotel I have ever stayed in no wait peppermill in Reno is worst, but I expected more from an lax hotel. They have the slowest elevators I have ever been on in my life, it took us up to the top floor and we are stuck for a few minutes, I have stayed at the other Radisson not too far away from that one and it is so much better. I also ordered a fridge and when I came back in my room is set up right next to my bed! The rooms are not small; it was so close that if I hung my foot off the bed I would hit the thing. Horrible! One plus is that the bell men were a great help, everything/everyone else needs to get it together ASAP.”

  • Nice lobby/public facilities. Airport shuttle service was great and efficient. Desk clerk was very pleasant.
  • Non smoking room smelled like someone just lit one up. Room looked worn down, needs renovating. Dirty walls around ceiling and vents.

“Overall experience was nice, I just was disappointed in the hotel when my wife and I walked into the room and felt dirty due to the smoke smell and dirty walls. We had traveled all day and our 2 years old son was exhausted, so we didn't request a new room. It was worth the price we paid but not much more.”

  • Room has a pretty old look. Unclean window panes. Not much of a control on the ac.

“I have stayed In the mar riots (residence Inn) which offer you a better ac, refrigerator, microwave, fully equipped kitchen, free Internet, complimentary breakfast. All at a price "little more" than I paid for this hotel.”

  • It took 50 minutes for the van to pick me up and travel to hotel, unacceptable.

“The hotel was fine, on the night I was there the key machine did not work so all guests had to have security open the doors for them and then if you went out you had to have them reopen the door. Also it took way to long for the van to pick me up and to get to the hotel which is only 5 minutes away. Other than that the hotel was fine. Also, it seems like when I book rooms, I always get next to the elevator and/or ice machine. I am a light sleeper and never seem to get a good night sleep.”

  • When I did have problems with the room & reservations, the staff was friendly and solved the problems quickly, without attitude.
  • The additional charge of $13 a night for parking when you're already a hotel guest.

“The hotel was good overall. I had some problems with connecting to the internet which was resolved by maintenance within an hour. There was a problem with the desk deleting my 3rd night for some reason but it was quickly resolved without attitude from the girls at the front desk. The elevators were extremely slow; one even got stuck briefly for a minute or so. Luckily a room service waiter in the elevator with me got it going. I did not like having to pay an additional $13 a night for parking as a guest of the hotel.”

  • Nothing to like about this hotel. I will not stay there again.
  • Expensive parking with no option for street parking. Room looks old with old damaged lampshades. Carpet is old. Overall not an attractive room.

“Judging from the room we stayed in, this is a 2-star hotel at best. AC takes hours to cool the room. Lamps have broken lampshades. Carpet does not look clean. Bathroom is tiny. Parking is $13 with no option for street-parking. I will not stay in this Radisson again.”

  • Attractive lobby and decent location near lax.
  • Front desk was not helpful or accommodating; our room lacked some standard amenities.

“Airport Radisson was a good location: easy to get to and get out of. However, in/out parking was 13 dollars a day. In addition, we were not informed that our room would not have the hotel's new premium beds, nor were we offered an upgrade. Also, the hotel front desk was slow and unhelpful when trying to retrieve a package. Finally, while they do offer free internet, the wireless network was inconsistent and the provided cable in the room was too short to use anywhere but the small desk in the corner.”

  • Staff was horrible, rooms were shoddy, and parking was expensive and inconvenient.

“Maybe it was 3 stars around 1991, but the wallpaper was peeling in the rooms, the lamp shade balanced on the bulb, too few towels, broken iron, etc. The staff was rude - Customer service was none-existent at this property. I found the Latino male front desk clerk treating me without any respect while the male (and Spanish speaking) guests walked right in front of me and were helped. The valet took over the self-parking lot and blocked our car in. I have stayed in this hotel in the past and the service and amenities have rapidly declined in quality in the last 3 years. It should not be rated 3 stars.”

  • Their fitness facility was nice.
  • The hotel parking at $13/day was excessive and more than other parking available in the immediate area.

“This hotel is very conveniently located near LAX. The room was clean and adequate in size. There was no complimentary breakfast like many other hotels and the parking fee is excessive when public parking in the immediate area is available for much less. The fitness room worked out well for us. The pool was heated the first night but was not heated the following 4 nights. The spa was always heated and on which was very nice in the cold LA evenings.”

  • Customer service could be better. Rooms were not well prepared for guest.

“Although the room was spacious and the water pressure was adequate, I have several complaints about the customer service and the preparedness of the room. First of all, I was given a room with a faulty toilet. Of course, I complained and the front desk personnel apologized. She informed me that they would be bringing up the keys to the new room. After waiting close to 20 minutes, I decided to get the keys for myself. I was surprised to find that they had completely forgotten about me. To make matters worse, when I finally got to the new room. I had to plug in several lamps, the alarm clock and the television since they were all unplugged. This involved looking for the plugs, moving furniture and reaching behind beds. Needless to say, I was not very happy about this.”

  • The king size bed was nice and big for my husband, our toddler and me. My daughter enjoyed watching the planes from our room.
  • The bathtub in the room was patched up. If I wanted to bath in a messed up bathroom, I would have stayed home.

“Overall, the room was acceptable because all we did was sleep and watch TV in the room. If our stay was longer than overnight, it would not have been comfortable or roomy enough.”

“Pool was great; however both I and my husband woke up on first night with bed bug bites. It was horrible. The staff was very helpful and gave us 3 nights for free. Still didn't take the bites away though.”

“When I arrived at the hotel, everything was fine. I unpacked and went to the "star bucks" within the hotel. Forget it! So I went back upstairs to my room and went to get more ice. The ice machine on the 8th floor was not working! I had to go to the 7th floor. Back in my room, I wanted to write a note to the manager - but there was neither pen nor paper! So I called the front desk and asked to speak to the manager. I was transferred to an extension and no one answered. Instead, I reached a voicemail of someone who didn't speak English. Though I assumed it wasn't the general manager since it wasn't a professional message, I still left a message with all my issues and asked for a call back. Then I went to take a shower - but you guessed it. No washcloths or hand towels.”

“It is a normal hotel, not bad not good, for the price you expect more. Especially, when 4 (!) Sheraton shuttles pass by at 4 a.m. while waiting at the airport, before the Radisson shuttle comes. Otherwise it was ok. The stuff is not particularly friendly.”
