• Did not like paying for the parking.

“It was a very pleasant space. When the sound of the ventilation was too loud in the first room they gracious moved us to another room with no problems. The head of housekeeping (I believe) took care of this move for us, as I saw her in the hallway and she handled it with ease. Thank you.”

• Easily accessible from the airport, clean room, and comfortable bed.
• Shower could have been cleaner, parking fee was high.

“Very easy to get to from LAX. The sleep number bed was comfy. Not many channels to watch on TV, but hopefully you're not there just to watch TV. Parking was way too expensive ($14 per night) and on the second night I was there, the lot was full and I was required to park across the street in the employee parking lot which took a few circles around and a trip to the front desk to figure out how to get into it.”

• New carpet.

“Hotel is well maintained. My room had new but crinkled carpet. Easy to fix. Beds and decorations were excellent. Bathroom was good and spacious. Room was spacious. Windows are only single glass and adjacent to San Diego Freeway. Parking looks great, but its fully automated with no attendant, so you have to go back inside every time, and I had a lot of trouble with it. Room was a little noisy, and i think I had a quieter one. But an Ok hotel, with pretty furnishings.”

• Convenient location if you're driving.
• Beware the extra parking fee.

“Has just what you need and has a shuttle to/from LAX airport. Good for stopovers. The restaurant was adequate. The wine we enjoyed was very good and well priced at $20. Convenient to the freeway and major west-end streets. Friendly and helpful front desk staff.”

• The Management (Sergio) made the few discomforts experienced palliated by giving me a complimentary meal.
• No phone working when arrived, beds were not as advertized

• Great room, great location. Loved the sleep number beds.
• Small bathroom, expensive parking.

“Great hotel to stay at. Great location, has restaurants and a movie theater right down the street. Only problem was the cost of parking ($14 overnight) pretty expensive for a 3 star hotel. Also the room was big, but the bathroom was tiny. Overall great hotel, quite and nice.”

• Nice pool, spa, and fitness room.
• I did not sleep well because the Sleep Number Bed the hotel provides wasn't working.

• The comfort beds were a great surprise. Great.
• The parking was 14.00.

“The staff were friendly and attentive. I loved the select comfort beds, it was a nice surprise, plenty of pillows for a great nights sleep. I would stay here again when in Los Angeles on business. It was easy access on and off the freeways and they serve Starbucks in the lobby.”

• $14 to park, and it was confusing, other people had a hard to to even leave the lot.

• I loved the sleep number bed. This was a pleasant surprise.
• I really did like everything but the coffee cups and water cups were paper/plastic and the toiletries were average. No complaints though.

“We loved this hotel. It was so comfortable with nice linens and a wonderful bed. The staff was accommodating and we enjoyed the property very much. The parking lot felt very safe and there was plenty of parking. I would definitely stay here again when I visit the area.”

“This hotel was good for the short time I was staying in the L.A. area. The few problems we encountered were, soap that was opened with a hair on it in the shower, hair in the bed, and we got a extremely unnecessary wake up call at 6:30 AM. We notified the front desk in which they gladly upgraded us to executive suite, validated our parking so we wouldn't have to pay, and gave us to free passes to a buffet breakfast. All in all, it was a good stay for the price and the location is close to the freeway. Besides those minor things, it was a good experience and stay.”

• The staffs there were friendly and helpful. The room was big and the bed was comfortable.
• The room was not that clean and the chair (sofa) was so dirty that I didn't sit there.

“The staff did not seem to be interested in solving any of the issues I had during my stay. The toilet leaked water all over the floor in the bathroom - I reported this to the staff every day but it never got fixed during the 4 days I was there. Also, their wake-up call system was 1 hour late - again I told the staff (and they said they had other guests complain also) and it was never resolved.”

• The room was not as clean as I thought it should be.

“It was a nice hotel in a good location; there was a parking fee that I did not know about. The maid didn't clean the room she just straighten the bed sheets and left dirty cups on the nightstands. The restaurant staff didn't seem to follow local health codes. Using bare hands to touch food on the buffet and it was way overpriced for the quality of the food.”

“If you're going to the city a lot, this hotel isn't a good option. It was kind of far away from most things. If you're thinking of the nice area of Culver City, like we were, forget it. It's not in that part of town at all. The sleep number beds always changed numbers in the middle of the night, and you would wake up so uncomfortable. Parking is $14 a day, and there is no free breakfast of anything. Our beds were dirty. There were hairs in it almost every day. The first day I pulled down the comforter only to find a booger! I was disgusted. There were black marks on our sheets almost every day too. We had them cleaned every day! I don't know what this stuff was, or where the hair was coming from. The first day, our towels also had something hard on them.”

“1st day of our stay, hotel maids left our room door unlocked. We came back and found it and notified the front desk. A large group (seemed like 300 plus) were booked the same time. Appeared to be young rowing teams from the Pacific Rim countries. They were loud and after being awakened for the 3rd time we had to call the front desk at 3:41 am.”

“The hotel is clean and safe although we could smell cigarettes in our non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor. The room has a small fridge and is next to the freeway and not much else. Overall, we were pleased the hotel.”

• Very difficult to spot even with map quest and the parking fee no valet.

“Staff was helpful to call around and ask for a dinner cruise location. Poor directions to hotel on phone from desk person. We drove an extra 2 hours when we were one block from the hotel as we were told to head north instead of south. Free parking as compensation. Very disappointing to pack up and drive to another hotel. This hotel was upscale.”

“Hotel tired facility. Hall carpets need re-stretching, make hotel look like dump. Worst, most uncomfortable beds ever. We took comforters and doubled them over to sleep on top of, with sheet as top cover. Very uncomfortable beds, no mater what number was dialed. Needed a pillow top over the number. Just like sleeping on air mattress when camping in woods.”

“The hotel is conveniently located within 3 miles from LAX airport. It is also within walking distance to the promenade at the Howard Hughes Center, which has great shopping and dining. The hotel rooms are rather small, but the sleep number beds do compensate for the lack of space. The pool and fitness center were clean and operational. The hotel even has an in house restaurant and bar.”

“This hotel was an excellent for the price. It was clean, the bedding was fresh and high quality, house keeping was efficient without disturbing guest. Pool area was clean and in good condition. The breakfast buffet was over priced but the cafe/bar had excellent food at a reasonable cost and very efficient staff. Not all rooms have sleep number beds so if you want one be sure and request it.”

• Modern, clean, sleep comfort beds, friendly helpful staff.
• The Culver City area did not have much except hotels and so forth, but not a long drive from Hollywood and Beverly Hills.

“It was a very relaxing stay for a reasonable price. Beautiful hotel; very clean and modern. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly from the moment I walked through the door. The beds were sleep number beds and very comfortable. There is not much in Culver City as far as attractions are concerned, but it is a safe part of the city, and not a far drive from Hollywood or the beaches.”

“Very friendly staff and convenient location. But the hotel rooms are very noisy and may not be a good who prefer quiet rooms. Even with all windows closed, I still hear the high way traffic right in your ears loud and clear. I changed room. While the 2nd room is only slightly better than the first one in terms of noise level, I found one of the mattress to be broken and had to sleep on half of the mattress entire night as I was too tired to switch room again.”

• It was near the freeway and the airport.
• There was construction on surface streets near hotel and had to pay for parking at $14 a day.

“Rooms were clean however there was a conference of men mostly under 30 filling up the hotel. All night long I heard doors slamming and drunkenness. The police were eventually called.”

• Over all atmosphere and location.
• My room was old.

“This was your usual 3 star hotel. Decent looking facilities. Friendly staff. My room was shabby and the toilet stopped up with the slightest amount of tissue. The parking gate was not easy to operate and required me to be vigilant to avoid an extra $15 a pop when ever I exited the place. It was okay for the price.”
