• Very nice bed. Clean room.
• Paper thin walls. Could hear everything from room next door.

“Overall hotel was very good. Allowed me an early check in so I could get my room key prior to attending a wedding/reception. Only problem I had were the thin walls in the room. I could hear everything from the room next door and they kept me up. However, both my calls to the front desk to have them quiet down were responded to quickly.”

• A lot better than my general expectations of a holiday inn.
• Hard to get into and out of due to location at rush hour.

“Upgraded holiday inn, nicer rooms and public areas. Pool and workout areas ok. Connected banyans was good, open till 11 which was a benefit. Quiet and comfortable.”

• I liked how the beds set up higher. The pool was nice and warm!
• The bathroom was small.

• Location was great for Christmas shopping.
• Was being remodeled for next owner (Holiday Inn).

• Location was central and parking was good. Quiet rooms.
• We stayed over Christmas, and the towels at the pool were not picked up, and no clean ones available.

“Due to the holidays, staffing was short. We were given a room that was not prepared, but staff was quick to assign us another room, just a lot of running around. Would be nice if they offered a simple breakfast in the morning”

• Floor needed vacuuming in room and elevators.

• It was horribly filthy. The floors, walls, etc were so gross!
• The halls, the floors, the pool, and the bathroom were very dirty. I am very disappointed in this hotel.

“When we got there, the lobby and hallway were dirty and smelly. We checked into our room and found it to be equally as dirty. However, it was late and we had tired children, so we went to bed. The next day we took the kids to the pool, which again was dirty and smelly. I paid for and expected higher standard of hotel that I got. Very disappointed customer.”

• Clean, quiet.
• Pool and hot tub were under construction.

“It was fine. Clean. Quiet. It is a ways out of Des Moine, about 15 miles. It was snowing while we were there so we stayed out in the suburbs. We found a good Indian restaurant near by.”

• The bathroom was awful. Shower did not work.

“It was clean but the restroom was awful. The shower did not work, and the toilet was so close to the toilet paper roller that you couldn't put the lid down.”

• easy location to find
• noisy morning crew woke us up at 7:30 by knocking on door, not as clean a room as expected

“The morning cleaning crew knocked on our door at 7:30 to see if we were still there and then they were still very noisy cleaning the hall and rooms next to ours. Spider between the beds on the nightstand when we got in the room. Dirty behind the doors of the room and behind the curtains.”

• The hallways and one elevator smelled musty.

• It was convenient and clean. It also has a decent workout room and pool open 24 hours.
• The beds were very hard.

“Overall this was a nice place to stay. With the exception of very hard beds, the stay was enjoyable. The staff was friendly and it was nice to have 24 hour access to the pool and workout room.”

• The location of this hotel is easy to find and to get around.
• Just your average hotel with some need of updating.

“This hotel is OK but I think that the star rating should be lower. This is just your average run of the mill hotel. Nothing special or outstanding at least with our room.”

“This hotel is a quality institution with fine interior appointments, good lighting and great features like a pool and a Bennigans. Easy to check in and out and great parking. 4 Points Sheraton more than exceeded my expectations.”

“Overall the Sheraton Four Points was nice. The rooms had plenty of space and it had a nice layout. However the beds were not at all supportive - not extra soft, just not supportive.”

“older- needs updating. We were stuck in a stale smoking room on 5th floor- I felt like they dumped me in a far corner as a priceline payer. I am certain better locations in the hotel were available. Ok overall. nice staff.”

“Defintely understated in the hotel web site. Helpful desk personnel, convenient to shopping and eating, room was clean and adequate, bath shower control knob was difficult to turn on, had free internet service which was easy to connect to.”

“The Four Point Sheraton Suites in DesMoines, Iowa was a very nice looking hotel with an attached restaurant attached. It was in a clean safe area with shopping and more restaurants with in a one mile radius. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the pool/hot tub/sauna area was exceptionally clean and quite nice. I would suggest this hotel to my family and friends.”
