“My air conditioner didn't work, the breakfast was meager at best, the client was less than desirable, and I didn't feel particularly safe. I would definitely not stay there with my wife or family.” May 23, 2009 by
Lori from Davenport,IA
“This hotel was okay for the price, however there was not pool and there also wasn't a restaurant to eat in.” Sep 12, 2008 by
Kelly from Wesley, IA
“Not a safe or secure place. We came in late one night and the outer door was broken and propped open, so that anyone could walk in.” Aug 29, 2008 by
Burl A. from Burlington, IA
“I have never had a worse experience of staying in a hotel in the 50 years I have been staying in motel/hotel rooms. This was the worse!” Aug 20, 2008 by
Kyle from Aurora, CO
“No luggage cart available. Vagrants migrating throughout public areas drinking what amounted to be by morning, a liquor store full of beer, etc. Mud in all public entrances for more than the length of our stay. Trash cans overflowing with beer & liquor bottles. People wandering hallways for all hours.” Aug 11, 2008 by
J D. from Garland, TX
“Arriving was a surprise to them! Out of 3 folks at the front desk, one almost knew how to handle me and my wife's cousin. The hallway and steps probably gets cleaned early in the spring. Mud was everywhere. The room floors were a bit cleaner. The breakfast room was not much better. And the bar was out of just about everything including juices. No more Travelodge's for me!” Aug 10, 2008 by
Sam from Indianapolis, IN
“The hotel has a terrible lack of employees that know anything about customer service. The entire facility smelled terrible, like spoiled food. The room was very musty and way past time for a refurbish. Overall a dreadful stay.” Aug 4, 2008 by
S from Gurnee, IL
“Phone did not work properly, needed it to make calls and instead of changing room made me wait for maintenance to come in. Roof being replaced and still working at 8pm. Can't say to much good about this hotel.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Stephanie from Dubuque, IA
“This hotel was a dump. Additionally, I have allergies/asthma and was forced to stay in a smoking room. I am very dissatisfied with the hotel.” Jul 25, 2008 by
Jocilyn from Sioux Falls, SD
“I had called and verified that we had a double non-smoking room. After traveling for 8 hours with small children, we were forced to stay in a very small king bed room. We had five people including an infant that were forced to sleep here because this hotel and all others in the area were booked. Then, after not really getting any sleep. I went down to the breakfast bar to find everything gone except dry cereal at 6:45 in the morning! Needless to say, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.” Jul 23, 2008 by
Becky from Stockbridge, WI
“It smelled cigarette smoke very badly in the lobby. The bath was old, had tile grout missing, tiles by the floor were missing and that made it appear not very clean. The breakfast area was very messy and not kept clean.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Paul from Madelia, MN
“I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this hotel. That was the most disappointing hotel room I have ever stay at. This place should be condemned and torn down. I was embarrassed.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Felicia from Tulsa, OK
“OMG, where do I began. I knew it was a mistake the moment we pulled up there. When I finally decided to check-in, an go past the crowd (loitering), a guest came in and threw his keys back to the receptionist and said, "This place is in uninhabitable!" What am I supposed to think? I had to clean my own tub, sink, and toilet out and vacuum my own floor. I need not say anymore.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Angie from Papillion, NE
“Conditions at the motel were horrible. Space here prohibits me from detailing our experience, but I'd be glad to talk with someone. We stayed for 20 minutes, then left because we felt extremely unsafe.” Jul 17, 2008 by
Sam V. from Sauk Village, IL
“Very basic accommodations--best for one-night stays (as in rest stops for long drives). Noisy on the weekend I stayed there, may be quieter during the week. My room was clean, but dank-smelling; whole hotel could stand a good carpet-cleaning. Decent TV channel selection; not sure if movies are available. Smoking rooms are available. Ample parking; shotgun-style building, so long walks to the room from the front desk are likely. USA Today available on weekday mornings; small continental breakfast available, but this will not be a substantial meal for hitting the road afterwards.” Jul 17, 2008 by
Steve from Grand Rapids, MI
“Questionable location. Made me feel unsafe for my safety and my car.” Jul 16, 2008 by
Dan from East Moline, IL
“It's good if you are an illegal, transient, or a low life. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody I know.” Jul 15, 2008 by
Halbana from Omaha, NE
“This hotel is located just a mile from I-80 highway. The hotel was dirty and I felt unsafe as there were a group of people gathering in the parking lot at night. The hanger in the room fell out of wall. The hallway as well as the stairway was dirty. The breakfast was ok. There were apples, oranges, muffins, cereals, breads, bagels, orange, apple juice, coffee and tee.” Jul 12, 2008 by
Steph from Delmar, IA
“I would not stay at this hotel ever again. It had a major bug infestation in our room. We ended up leaving this room in the middle of the night.” Jul 12, 2008 by
Trent from Clive, IA
“The hotel was a dump.” May 27, 2008 by
Rodger from Marion, OH
“Very well kept, quiet, nice clean rooms, bathrooms were nice and clean, continental breakfast was great with fresh bagels, hot coffee, and fresh fruit. Staff was friendly and helpful.” May 20, 2008 by
Thomas from Muscatine, IA
“Uncomfortable beds. Not clean in the corners of the bath area. Old fashioned keys instead of electronic. Not worth the money.” May 12, 2008 by
Tammy from St Louis, MO
“Sign was not well light, so I passed it initially upon arrival. They did have free internet, which was greatly appreciated. The decor is in need of an update. The breakfast area seemed dreary. The vanity seemed to be very old, small and was located within a foot of the door. There was no shampoo or hairdryer in the room, but the staff was quite helpful and accommodating.” May 7, 2008 by
Mike from Guin, AL
“This is your basic no frills style of Motel.” Jul 20, 2006 by
Tracy from Kewanee, IL
“it's convenient.”
