• Nothing.
• There were armed guards in lobby and outside property patrolling parking.

“I had a 5;30 AM flight, and there is no shuttle. Upon checking in & determining I would need to make travel plans to airport I requested the bellman schedule a taxi. I requested a wake-up call from front desk explaining I had an early flight. I got neither a wake-up call and had to make arrangement upon checking out at 4:00 AM to get a taxi. My credit card was charged $11 upon check-out for bottled water in room, in-room coffee, and the newspaper. At 4 AM there was no newspaper, and I did not drink water or use coffee maker. I was not made aware of the incidental charge upon check-in and plan on disputing this. Overall this hotel is rated incorrectly both as upscale and as airport location. It is $30 cab ride from this hotel to airport.”

“Florida Hotel and Conference Center had too early checkout time and no airport transportation. We also stayed at Crowne Plaza Orlando Airport which, overall, I liked better due to friendliness of staff, and their willingness to let us stay an hour later - and a big plus - they had airport transportation which

did not have.”

• Bellman went above and beyond for us trying to help us find hotel.
• Nailed for add'l fee above paid-in-full reservation for wireless & gym (we stayed 7 hours!).

“Nice hotel, though certainly not an airport hotel ($27 cab ride!). Hard to find by address. Watch for extra fees. It is actually attached to the mall, like an anchor store would be, so if you're coming to Orlando to go this mall, I suppose it's some kind of dream, but otherwise, it was nice, but very hard to locate. Staff super nice.”

“This should not be considered an airport hotel. It is 8 miles from the airport and as such does not offer airport transportation. The surrounding neighborhood is questionable at best! I would not recommend to this hotel to any solo business traveler seeking an airport locale.”

• Good central location and close to attractions.
• Older hotel and not in the best shape. Poor public areas and bad restaurant/service.

“This was an average, older hotel with a good location. If you love to shop, this hotel is part of the Florida Mall so you can shop until you drop. The service wasn't that good and the rooms were small and bathrooms old. The public areas are in decline. Beds were ok but air didn't work right. Flat screen TV's in the room. Good for one night or business travelers. Close to airport.”

• It was very clean and the room was comfortable.
• The bar and restaurant are wide open to the lobby, This invited a lot of munchkins to bang on the piano and run around in the restaurant.

“The overall experience was fair. I liked the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel. The service from the staff was good although we couldn't find the valet driver at 4:00 am. The desk clerk ran and got the car instead.”

• Comfortable room.
• Not quiet, very loud, lots of kids screaming in the hallway till 11 pm.

“This was a nice hotel, though it was very busy with lots of kids that were all in the hall till late at night talking and yelling very loudly. Also, I don't consider this an airport hotel, there is no hotel shuttle and I had to take the bus to get there which is not as convenient as the other "airport" hotels.”

• Good parking, excellent food, friendly staff.
• Awakened at midnight with a mistaken wake-up call.

“It was a little hard to find the hotel in the maze of the Florida Mall. I had printed out a picture of it so we recognized it in the distance and wound our way around the Mall. In the early morning darkness, we had trouble finding our way out of the Mall to the highway. It was also a little far from the airport. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel in general. It was pouring rain outside and choosing to eat at the hotel that evening proved to be a very good experience. Even the Grill staff was professional and friendly! I would stay there again now that we know the way.”

• Excellent value, excellent experience, what else can a traveler ask for?
• More public seating groups in lobby. The area is very large and surrounded by food and drink areas. I thought it would be nice to sit a while.

“I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel. It exceeded my expectations in every way. This is one best kept secret for the business traveler and the family. There is enough space for both groups.”

• Nice sized room.
• NO airport shuttle.

“The hotel is nice. Its amenities are less than expected. While it was nice to be located attached to the large mall, this hotel is over 6 miles from the airport and has no airport shuttle. When I purchased a room, I specified a hotel near the airport - and I expected to have a shuttle to/from the airport. Perhaps this hotel should be listed in the sea World or Disney area (as it is closer to both of these attractions than the airport). I feel that being stuck at the airport was unacceptable.”

• Nice rooms.
• Mandatory fee. Way frisking away from the airport. Had to get a rent a car just to stay there overnight. That's a misrepresentation of where it is.

“Don't stay there if you are trying to stay near the airport overnight. Too far away and transfers there are outrageous.”

“This hotel is centrally located in Orlando, Florida and it is conveniently located to all Orlando points of interest. The hotel is located within the Florida Mall and the staff was great. The hotel is clean and modern; I had a great experience while staying at this hotel.”

“First room stunk like cigarettes. Second room, remote did not work, then internet connection did not work. After waiting for 45 minutes while a repairman worked on the connection, I switched to a third room. Third room fine. Could not use excercise equipment, all machines being used each time I went. Several people not able to work out. Staff was excellent, prompt and courteous.”

• Hotel lied about transportation to airport

“Well this not a 3 star hotel by any means more like a 2, even though it is huge with the mall attached, it is not located near the airport at all, they tell you there is a shuttle for $50 but neglect to tell you that the bus goes to the airport right outside the mall for $2.00...they don't like you much if you are handicapped, they left me waiting at the bus stop for one hour.”

• The hotel charges an additional service fee.

“This hotel had a number of problems. They charge an add'l service fee per room. The internet service did not work. The room lock system was not working properly. The staff did not care to fix anything that did not work. Both the valet parking fee and a drink at the bar is higher than the Hyatt Airport. The hotel is old and remodeled and does not come close to the other 3 star hotels in the area.”

• Rooms were very nice. Flat screen TVs in the room.
• Was stated as a airport hotel & it isn't. There isn't an airport shuttle or any shuttle.

“Nice hotel, especially if you are going to the mall. Very nice rooms. Airport taxi's weren't sure where it was at first because apparently the hotel has changed names several times. Not an airport hotel as listed, no airport shuttle, etc. About 15 minutes from the airport but you have to get a taxi or a rental car to get there. Would stay there again as it was a very nice surprise once we got there.”

• Nice renovation!
• Sold at Airport hotel - not even close to airport.

“While the hotel stay was great, it is not convenient to the airport. While this hotel is technically at the furthest most point of the airport area, it does not fit the airport area. They do not have a shuttle to the airport. This area should be rezoned to another area.”

• the staff was very helpful when we needed them..

“We had a wonderful five day stay at this hotel. It is very nice. We did have a water problem in the middle of the night. A pipe broke in the wall from the floor above and we called the desk and they moved us to another floor. They gave us an extra night free of charge. The manager was very considerate and helpful to us. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.”

• Valet parking.

“The hotel was very nice and convenient. It was great that it is not to far from the airport and had a mall connected to it. When we first arrived we were not pleased with the way the valet handled us parking to unload. We were immediately told we needed to move. We felt like they were very rude and only wanted people that were willing to pay for valet parking there. We had 2 children with us and felt like we should of been greeted better and gave us time to unload and move are car. Other than this the hotel was very pleasant and the clerks were very nice, as well as all the other hotel staff.”

• It was not as close to the airport as other hotels.

• A Very Nice Room. Well Thought Out. Had a Desk and Internet Access.
• Had to pay $33.00 to get there from the airport. No hotel shuttle.

“Arrived in Florida about 11:00pm. Had to catch a taxi to get to the hotel ($33.00 from Orlando Airport). Regardless of time of day, this hotel doesn't offer a shuttle service to or from the airport. Anyway, got to the hotel and was given a room on the eighth floor. This room was very nice. It had a king size bed (that is a bed that has 2 or 3 zip codes, when your sleeping by yourself). It was a non-smoker room. It had a flat screen TV on the wall and high speed Internet service at a desk that was just suited for a lap top and paperwork. I did have trouble with the Internet router a couple of times and called the desk to get it resolved. Also, I had no sugar for the in room coffee maker the last morning I was there. The Florida Hotel does not have a shuttle service. There maybe a few inconveniences along the way with Internet service not working or no sugar in the coffee packs the next morning if you stay there (or at any other hotel). But this hotel is nice. It is well suited for business travelers and I would also consider this hotel for a weekend with my wife. It is nice.”

• Excellent location, close to good restaurants and shopping.
• Fitness room was limited and two of four exercise machines did not work properly.

“This hotel is collocated with the Florida Mall which offers excellent dining and shopping opportunities. Staff is very friendly and helpful but maintenance could be better. The soda vending machine on our floor would not take dollar bills and machines in the fitness room were not working properly. One treadmill stopped and started randomly and caused me to fall. I was not injured but the hotel could have been liable for an injury if I had. We reported the machine however it was still not marked or fixed the next day.”

• Very Nice, romantic does not fit for this particular trip, but if in Orlando for a weekend with my wife, I would consider staying here.
• Window over looked Sears lawn and garden center.

“Staff was friendly and very quick to get me to my room. The room was clean, comfortable and I received a good nights' rest. The next morning when I left, it was very easy checking out and because of the hotels location, my appointment for the day was only a few minutes away. It's a great location to International Drive in Orlando. Great place to stay with the family on vacation”

• The hotel was 8 miles away from the airport and there was no airport shuttle. I was un happy.
