• Its location was perfect and the hideaway feel was excellent.
• The front desk staff was less than helpful and almost rude.

“The hotel is absolutely wonderfully located in South Tahoe. Once there, everything is within walking distance and if not, the Trolley is close at hand and many activities have pickup service.”

• Nice pool plus rooms were quiet for such a busy street.
• Liked everything.

“Enjoyed our stay. Pool was really nice plus enjoyed the outdoor hot tub plus the indoor hot tub & sauna. Breakfast was good although the eating area was crowded. Really surprised at how quiet the rooms were although the hotel was on a very busy street.”

“I was impressed with the quality of service we received. The overall location and condition of the hotel. The hair dryer was not working and when I called the front desk to report it someone was there within 5 minutes to replace it. Nice pool, spa and sauna facilities. I'll be back!”

• Good location. Walking distance too many restaurants, shops and casinos.
• Parking was kind of tight.

• The room was better than expected and close to everything in the area that we wanted to go to.
• Can't think of anything wrong with the place.

“Close to the Cal/Nev state line and all the resorts. Was a great price for what we got in such a costly area? Have a variety of pillows (soft/firm) on each bed. Room had a microwave and mini-fridge as well as an iron and ironing board. Comfortable room in a great location.”

• Very nice decor, comfortable in every way!
• No elevator in our area

“The "woodsy" decor lent itself quite well to the surrounding area. The landscaping and overall appearance of the hotel was very pleasant. The staff was exceptionally helpful. Would recommend this hotel highly.”

“Great location with in easy walking distance of the heavenly gondola and all the stores and activities of south lake Tahoe. The hotel is rustic on the outside but very modern and clean inside. It is one of the newer hotels in south lake Tahoe. I would definitely stay there again.”

• The room was beautiful and clean. The hotel provides free spa and sauna to guests.
• The egg from their free continental breakfast was not fresh. Aside from the egg which you should avoid, the rest was awesome.

“I would recommend this hotel because for the price I¿ve paid, it's really worthwhile. The room was nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. Aside from the variety of food they provided for their free continental breakfast, they also provide free wireless internet, free spa, and free sauna for guests to enjoy. It was also located a few minutes away from heavenly, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby within walking distance too. You won't regret to stay here.”

• Rooms were comfortable and the staff very helpful.
• Our room had a very bad odor, but we were moved and given a credit.

“The hotel overall was very clean and comfortable. Pool area very clean. The location is extremely close to everything. The continental breakfast had a large selection. The staff was exceptionally friendly and cooperative in reducing the charges due to our having to change rooms.”

• Great breakfast, nice to have bar area with sink, mirror, fridge and microwave in the room.
• Almost nothing--the outdoor hot tub wasn't hot the first day, but there was a huge indoor one that was.

“This is a great place to stay. The room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Our baby slept well in a pack and play in the bathroom. We appreciated the bar area with sink, mirror, fridge and microwave in the room. The breakfast was probably the best I've ever had, and we enjoyed the indoor hot tub. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the location was ideal.”

• It was an extremely convenient location and the hot tub was great.
• Our room smelled terrible and it was frustrating to not be able to ask the hotel staff about our room rate.

“If our room hadn't smelled horrible, everything would have been perfect! We loved the sauna and Jacuzzi and best of all the location. It was a little frustrating the hotel front desk couldn't tell us anything about our booking since it was through an outside party. Otherwise - 4 stars!”
