• Very clean and broken things were fixed immediately.
• Pillows were really flat and small.

“It was a wonderful stay. The breakfast was good and the people were very friendly and helpful. We will stay here again on our next visit.”

• It was comfortable and they kept the rooms clean.
• Non smoking section too close to smoking section.

“The hotel is located close to downtown and the college, it was clean. Our non smoking section was close to smoking section, so you smelled cigarettes smoke.”

• Staff was helpful, breakfast was decent & clean room.
• The noise level of the other patrons was high on the weekend.

“It exceeded my expectations. It was clean friendly and the staff was very helpful. The location was close to downtown, yet not so far that it was a long drive. It was also close to shopping and restaurants.”

• Clean, comfortable, with very helpful staff.
• Breakfast area tiny with sign not to take food to room!

“This hotel has a modest rating so, the level of comfort and cleanliness in my room surprised me. The micro/fridge amenities were particularly nice for extended stay. My only irritation was the tiny breakfast area in the lobby. It was quickly crowded with a posted sign not to take food to your room. Still, I would recommend this motel to my family or friends traveling to the Athens area.”

“When I arrived they placed me in a room that completely smelled of smoke, the halls smelled bad, the door's deadbolt wouldn't work and they tried to convince me to still stay in the room. The fridge and microwave were old, the furniture was worn, the sheets had holes in them. He tried to put me in a room on the 2nd floor but then told me that the rain would make too much noise no the roof and I might not like that. So then they finally placed me in a room near the front office where the halls smelled clear, the door wasn't secure to the floor, but the fridge and microwave were newer, the room was cleaner, and didn't smell bad. So why was I not put in this room at first instead of trying to be convinced to stay in a smoke filled room (when I requested non-smoking) where I did not feel secure because the door didn't feel secure and then it wouldn't lock. I was very unhappy and even though they put me in another room after some convincing when I told they didn't have another one, the stay was okay. I felt as though they thought I was not good enough or I should settle for what they gave me. I will never stay there again.”

• Very clean, great location.
• Rooms are very sparse, totally basic, and very dark.

“Very clean, very nice staff, good location. Rooms very basic and very dark (two plastic cups, few towels, Internet connections, but had to move furniture to find an electrical outlet, not enough lights) very clean, but, very basic, and very dark.”

• I received a office/home room with Internet, frig, micro, king bed all you need.
• Accessing the hotel from the parking lot was difficult with luggage.
