“ Enjoyed our stay. The staff and room were excellent. Clean room. Major construction in the lobby and had to search for the substitute breakfast room. Great food, though. Just off freeway was a real convenience. Would stay again. ” Aug 13, 2008 by

“The breakfast was better than the hotel across the street per friends that were staying at the Best Western. No in house restaurant opens yet. The front desk staff was terrific. We had contact with at least four different people and all were so friendly and responsive. We were also allowed a late checkout which was extremely helpful.” Mar 31, 2008 by

“This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel in SLO. We were pleased the first trip. If our son ends up going to the University there next year, we will continue to stay here as long as it remains clean friendly.” Apr 13, 2007 by

“For a two star hotel it was satisfactory; however your rating led me to believe that it would be much nicer than some of the other two star hotels available. After checking, we found this wasn't the case.” Apr 9, 2007 by

“This hotel is very convenient to Cal Poly, which makes it great for a families visiting the college. The hotel seemed clean and the linens were very nice. Only two complaints: The crummy view from our window - of the roof of the next building - and the incredibly creaking floor of the herd of hippos above us. It actually made us concerned about how heavy we were treading on our floor. The front staff seemed pleasant enough, we really did not have much interaction with them as we were only there one night. The continental breakfast buffet was pretty standard, my husband made it down in time before it closed, but my daughter and I by-passed the closed sign and snuck out a couple of muffins that were still out. Overall, it is a nice option for the families visiting the college, which was exactly why we were there.” Apr 16, 2006 by

“I loved our oversized room with two large windows that could be opened and trees right outside. The waterfall showerhead was great, and I had never seen a curved shower curtain rod, but it works great at keeping the curtain off your body. The granite countertop was very nice and the room decor was very appealing. There were none of the typical "motel" pictures on the walls! I was very comfortable in this room and would have liked to spend a couple more nights but we had to get back home.” Hotel Representatives:
