• Hidden parking charge $12/night. Also, facility is not completely smoke free - they allowed smoking at the pool.

• I liked the size of the room and the amenities.

“Traveling with young children, it was really nice to have the refrigerator and microwave in the room. I also has a special medical need and needed to refrigerate medication so this was perfect. I liked the flat screen tv, swimming pool, and exercise room and availability of a variety of channels. The housekeeping staff could have been friendlier. I did enjoy the location of the hotel, but they do need to come up with a better parking system if you are going to have guests pay for parking, make an effort to at least ensure there are parking spaces available on the lot. Some of the spaces were so tight I had to back up to let the passengers out, the spaces are too close together causing a very cramped condition. All in all we had a really great vacation and we enjoyed the actual hotel itself and the kids gave lobby flat screen A+.”

• It would be nice to have free internet accessible everywhere in the hotel.

“My stay at this hotel was wonderful. The parking was easy and convenient, and the staff was extremely accommodating to my needs! I love that there is no hassle with a car tag for parking, after a long conference I like to just go up to my room and relax, after checking in. The hotel was neatly clean. I liked their products provided as well. The location is excellent too! There are number of restaurants walking distance! Checking out was quick and easy.”

• Spacious, nice decor, nice location, parking.
• Pool was cold; housekeeping ignored my request to come in midday to clean room. Had to ask for towels in the evening.

• Location was awesome, close to parks and food.
• There was nothing I didn't like about this place.

“Perfectly located, excellent transportation to and from the park. Free Wi-Fi and parking, free cookies in the lobby, super comfortable beds. Overall a great place. Should be a 3 star place, but with embassy suites and the Hyatt next door I can see why its a 2.5 star property. Walking distance to some good restaurants as well.”

• The hotel was clean and well maintained. Good restaurants and grocery nearby-red robins, the outback.
• Further away from Disneyland than I thought, not within walking distance, great w/rental car.

“I was pleased with the hotel and found it to be a great value for the price. It was clean and well maintained. Exercise room and pool w/hot tub is adequate. It was further away from Disneyland than we thought, but with a rental car it worked well and there is a bus that runs every 20 minutes. It's on the same main road as the main gate but about 1+ mile down the road. Several nice restaurants nearby that allowed us to eat and places other than Disney. A grocery was close by so we also stocked up with in room snacks and beverages. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend it for others.”

“The staff was nice, from front desk to housekeeping. Shower head was broken and not enough hot water for 3 other people that were with me. Front office not responsive or apologetic. Maintenance guy was prompt and courteous. Their gym only had 3 pieces of equipment in there.”

• It was a nice hotel. Classy and convenient located.
• I didnt like the the coke machine on our floor didnt work. Also never could get the broadband internet service to work.

• Lost my prescription glasses and received the wrong pair but not their fault it was mine for leaving them.

“Fabulous hotel. Staff was very courteous and knowledgeable about the local attractions (Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm). Free shuttle to Disneyland throughout the day. Rooms were a nice size and well equipped (microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, hairdryer). Very close to everything in Anaheim and close to the freeway (but not right next to it). We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Hilton Garden Inn at Anaheim to anyone.”

“The hotel was nice and comfortable. Our only complaint was that when we arrived, the bathroom still had used soap in the shower and at the sink and there was a trash can in the room that had not been emptied and was filled with over the counter drug boxes. I was not happy about that since I had a child in the room. They need to pay more attention to cleaning more in depth and take more time with the rooms”

“I was disappointed. I accidentally left a pair of slacks and when I called Sunday evening I was given the housekeeping voice mail. I left a detailed message but got no return call on Monday. I called again Tuesday and left a second message, again no return call. I called a third time on Wednesday and was finally put through to Eric Gonzales. He informed me that my slacks were not found even though I left specific information on where they were. Basically, I was told that the cleaning staff turns in items found but they did not find what I left. I am very upset as this was a nice pair of slacks that won't easily be replaced. I felt as though I was being told the cleaning staff found my item but it was not turned in so I was out of luck. Again, I am disappointed.”

“Although there was very limited room service, (5-9pm) this hotel was great. Very quiet, very clean, a fridge and microwave in the room to sort of make up for no in room breakfast. Nice pool area. We had a great time here and will definitely consider staying here again. The also provide a free shuttle to Disneyland that was always onetime.”

“My stay at Hilton Garden Inn Anaheim/Garden Grove was perfect. The rooms were clean and the staff was wonderful. Since I was driving from the Bay Area, I was afraid my reservation would be cancelled, because I didn't not get there in time. I called to confirm and my room was still reserved even though I didn't get there until 2am. The reassurance kept my mind at peace. The shuttle to Disneyland came every 1/2 hour. We enjoyed our time there.”
