• The hotel staff.
• The parking.

“This was my second trip to this hotel. We have a daughter attending Fresno State and found this hotel to be adequately close -- approximately 5-7 minutes from the university. I truly feel that the hotel staff here is top notch. Eager to assist with any need you might have. This hotel is right next to a freeway, however, I don't believe that the freeway noise is bothersome in anyway. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are very spacious and nice. Breakfast is good! If you're looking for cooked to order you won't find it here. But it does go beyond the continental breakfast. Hot and a lots of choices. Nice quiet hotel. Good choice for the price.”

• The bed was comfortable, AC worked very well.
• Indoor pool, not a large outside lounging area.

“The staff was friendly, the room was nice. I would have preferred an outdoor pool as it was really hot while I was there. The breakfast was good. I was a little Leary as I have stayed in Fresno several times at a different hotel, but they exceeded my expectations.”

• The front desk staff
  was spectacular.
• At 3:00 am there were no extra pillows available.

“From check-in to check-out, the experience was nearly flawless. The room was standard for a business hotel, although the number of cable channels exceeded other similarly priced hotels. Ultimately, it was the staff that made my stay so worthwhile (not to mention that it is less than a block from Hwy 41).”

• Very friendly staff.
• Getting a bit dated in some areas.

“Fine value, very friendly staff, clean, private could use more mini-suite-like features in rooms to continue to compete with all of the mini-suite hotels that are either new, or, are opening within the next 3-6 months (Must be 8-10, HI Express, Embassy, Spring Hill, Hampton, Hilton Garden Inns, etc.) You need microwaves; small refers better closet space, etc in rooms; more ice machines and vending machines, preferably on each floor. There is only one ice and vending area at this property. The rates for this hotel are the same as the competition now, but, the competition - they are in some newer areas and closer to shopping, etc., but, they also offer updated amenities. This is a pretty property with friendly people. Invest some capital to help them, get and stay or they are in jeopardy of being more-and-more left behind through no fault of their own. Be blessed. • The hotel room, was very, very clean! I liked the 12:00 pm check out time, as opposed to a lot of hotels 11:00 am.
• The lobby and elevator were hot, they needed to crank up the AC a bit.

“Overall, I would stay at this hotel again. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and I liked the 12:00 pm check out time. In addition, great location.”

• The staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast was excellent. This hotel was wonderful.
• Nothing.

“This is the first time traveling with a newborn. Did not know what to expect at the hotel. They brought up a wonderful crib which worked out excellently. The front desk was extremely helpful in finding places to eat and for items we forgot. I dealt with the front desk prior to our arrival to confirm things and he was there when we arrived. Front desk was extremely helpful, as was the rest of the staff. The breakfast which they provide had an excellent assortment of items. I would definitely return.”

• Jacuzzi did not work and I wasn't told till after.

“Location was good, but I specifically was looking for a hotel with a Jacuzzi. I called before reserving, and they confirmed they had one. I arrived and was informed when I went to use that. It had not been working and that a service tech was coming out to fix that day. I returned later that evening after the tech had been there, and the staff said it had been fixed. It had not freezing cold water.”

• The staff was very nice and check in was easy.
• The worst sleep we have ever had. Beds hard and very noisy.

“The beds were very uncomfortable, and the hotel was very noisy. We heard the elevator all night, and it sounded like we had people in our room all night because the walls were so thin. On the positive side, check in was a cinch, the shower was great, and the staff was very nice.”

• Pool was under renovation - couldn't use hot tub.

“One of the best 5-day stays ever. After two days I felt like I was at home. Staff went out of the way to ensure that stay was pleasant. Really appreciated their help faxing business documents, access to business center, and authentic friendly attitude.”

• Good location and very clean. The free continental breakfast was top notch with hot waffles!
• The Indoor Swimming Pool was "under repair" and thus detracted somewhat from the 2.5 Star Rating.

“The hotel met almost all expectations with the exception of the swimming pool which was "under repair". The location is great for North Fresno; less than ten minutes to Copper River Golf/Tennis. The free continental breakfast included fresh waffles (u-make) and was a cut above average with many options. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful.”

• Great breakfast - not the continental that you usually get - waffles, cereal, toast, etc.
• It just needed more seating for breakfast goers.

“We had some special requests that the Manager took care of and we were able to add on a few more rooms at a decent rate so we could all stay at the same place. I would stay here again. It met the needs - easy to find and clean and I usually never stay at anything less then a 3* but this is alright. Great breakfast for adults - men women and children of all ages.”

• The swim pool was not working.

“The exercise room only had 3 things in it. There was basically no lobby. The pool was broke. If I'm getting a 2.5 plus hotel it should at least have a restaurant and a working pool. There was not a meeting room. The free breakfast and wireless internet was a plus. Did I mention it was a 2.5 plus hotel with no restaurant and no working pool.”

• The breakfast that is included is great.
• The bed was too soft; I got a backache and did not sleep well.

“Overall I thought this hotel was ok. The bed was way too soft and this hotel is too close to the freeway and street traffic that you hear the cars in the background. These things should be taken into consideration when you give star rating for hotel rooms.”

• It was very friendly and inviting. Comfortable and good breakfast.
• The only thing lacking was a recliner. Just a personal preference of mine.

“It has a very convenient location in a safe neighborhood. The staff is extremely friendly and the hotel has the usual amenities that business travelers appreciate (especially the cookies!) It was a very comfortable experience.”

• Friendly staff.

“Worth 75$ not more- never saw many other guests except I morning. Breakfast was marginal. Coffee was crap. Staff is friendly. Ok for solo travel. Family would not be happy. Don’t know what a suite is like but regular room is economy.”

• It was nice, clean and the room was spacious and comfortable.
• Though extra decor is not necessary the room seemed very sparsely decorated. Not necessarily a bad thing though.

“I would say the hotel was great all around. I just didn't say it was excellent because I reserve that for 5star deluxe hotels.”

• Decent breakfast, convenient location for visiting the Children's Hospital and Zoo.
• No sofa bed, mini refrigerator, or microwave as stated online. My children and I were awoken by the fire alarm. showerhead and water pressure was bad

Showerhead and water pressure was terrible, I took pictures to prove it. Let me know where to send them if you want to see them. Should probably mention that the only fireplace is in the lobby.”
