• It was nice to avoid paying so much for a hotel room that did not strike me as being a lovely room at some "Fleebag Inn". I got what I deserved.
• A little annoyance with a pan-handler outside.

“I checked in with the front desk, and I submitted my confirmation number which was earlier received through the internet, and this made it all the faster for me to receive my card-key. I am also thankful that there was the breakfast buffet court built right in the hotel, where I allowed myself one morning to spoil myself rotten. Excellent room service, the bed was always made and the coffee packets were always kept in stock, as well as toiletries.”

• They didn't clean our room very often.

“The aesthetics overall were nice. However, we stayed there 6 nights and they only cleaned our room twice. They didn't have very many cable channels and a lot of things were out dated. It was sub par.”

• The workout facility could use some newer equipment and better water station.

• Clean hotel. Great service. Friendly staff. Would recommend to friends.
• The location was not in the best neighborhood.

“This is an older hotel that has been nicely renovated. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was not the best, but there was a security guard on duty that made us feel better/safer. I would recommend this hotel to friends and relatives.”

• Beautiful lobby, large clean room, great bed.
• Approached several times by panhandlers.

“The staff was very helpful and friendly. The lobby was beautiful. The beds were the kind that each person picks their comfort level. The only complaint was that throughout our stay we were approached several times in the parking lot by people asking for money. We were told not to leave anything in the car because it was a bad neighborhood.”

“This hotel was nice as far as the room and decor/cleanliness of the hotel. Unfortunately, when we pulled up a homeless man was sitting outside the doors asking for money and that made me nervous since we had young children with us. He was gone by the time we parked and came back through the entrance with our luggage. Staff did say that security did rounds every 1/2 hour so that was fine. The only other downfall was that no one told us the restaurant would close at 9am, so we were unable to get breakfast in the morning since we came down at 8:50. The girl in the restaurant said there were notices everywhere, but there weren't any in our room or the elevator, or anywhere we could see. .”

“Nice hotel with very nice lobby. If you get a room with sleep number beds, be sure they work. The hotel staff was very helpful in letting us change rooms when ours did not work. The hotel is very convenient to sell and arena.”

• Outdated decor in room. Poor quality beds.

“Good location, safe parking lot. Room decor needs to be updated. Looks like they may be in the midst of remodeling? Thin walls could hear neighbors clearly. Person who checked us in said there were no rooms with two beds. Then after some persistence on my part, realized he could "make something happen." the parking lot was empty! So, I knew there were plenty of open rooms.”

• Since restaurant closed, provided free sandwiches, drinks, chips, fruit, muffins, coffee.
• Not their fault, but the fire alarm went off around midnight. :o).

“This hotel was clean, tastefully decorated and the staff was great. The beds were select comfort number beds with down comforters and feather pillows it was quite comfortable.”

• The staff was great and public facilities very nice.
• The elevators were slow.

“While the rooms could use an update (I did not have a select comfort bed), I was very comfortable. The adjoining door would not close and lock very well, but it was okay. I would stay at the hotel again. The $70 price was reasonable, but I would have been disappointed to pay the actual hotel rate.”

• It's dated and the area is not that great.

“It's dated, although they've tried to update it but you can tell they don't spend much. It's in old Downtown Fresno (near court house) so not much happening in the evening. Like many old Downtown areas all over, it's an area that can attract homeless, low income. For Fresno though, it's a decent hotel and probably the most upscale in Fresno.”

• The waterfalls were nice.
• Parking was awful. The kids' soccer group in the lobby was annoying. There wasn't enough room for that nonsense.

“It was a very basic hotel room. It was clean and smelled nice, but I expected a whole lot more from the star rating. This one was a little bit of a letdown, but not awful by any stretch. Why the hotel let a non paying soccer team fill up the crowded lobby as a teacher convention was literally letting off the bus is a mystery to me. Bad for business. Annoying as hell. I had to wade through a lobby full of rowdy kids with luggage. I'm not talking a few kids; I'm talking packed like sardines and running amuck with no supervision. And then they all left, so they weren't even guests.”

• Sleep Number bed and down comforter was great.
• Because of the atrium and thin walls, the noise level was high.

“When you first walk into the hotel, the smell of chlorine, probably due to the waterfall in the center of the atrium was too strong. Overall, it was a nice stay.”

• The atrium with the 3 story waterfall is lovely!
• The wait for the elevators was a little long each time.

“Overall, a very nice place to stay. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are quite nice. Room service was quick and very good! I really like the layout of the interior of the hotel, open and airy and the waterfall is the highlight of the lobby area. Would definitely stay here again.”

• It seemed as if we were next to a maid quarters because we kept hearing noises and thumping on the walls and doors slamming.

• The ambiance of the inner lobby openness & waterfall and easy access to bar and friendly employees.
• I asked for a wake up call at 5:30 am. On Sunday, 11/4. The phone never rang. I woke at 6:45 am. On own and was almost late to bowling at 8 a.m.

“The location is perfectly set between the Fresno and Clovis bowling alleys. It is only 12/13 minutes to either lane. We were also within a reasonable driving distance to enjoy the casino n. Of Fresno. The restaurant staff is friendly and efficient, serving good quality food.”

• The location was convenient.
• The pool and hot tub closed way too early.

“The location was perfect for me. The room was clean but the remote control for the TV was absurd. It was a video game controller that couldn't leave the TV stands. The pool and hot tub looked very inviting but because it closed so early I was unable to enjoy it.”

• The staff was quick in bringing up a fridge for me; I liked the sleep number bed as well.
• I didn't like having to walk all the way around in order to get to the elevators.

“It was a good deal for the most part. The hotel was pretty nice: the staff was wonderful, our room was comfortable, and the location was right next to the convention center, which was a huge plus. The only thing I disliked about our stay was the awful cigarette smoked that came in through our bathroom vent from the room next to us. We had asked for a non smoking room, which they did give us, but having to smell all that smoke any time we went to the restroom or near it make me sick. A non smoking room should never be connected to a smoking room. That's just common sense, but maybe the staff wasnt aware of this? I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I don't know if we'll stay at the hotel in the future; so if you plan to stay at the Radisson and prefer a non smoking room, make sure to specify that the room next door has to be non smoking as well.”

“1. My room had couple of spider webs in both corners of the room by the window. 2. The front desk staff requires additional training. They certainly do not have the skills to service business travelers. 3. The employee at the front desk that helped me with the check out refused to let me back in the room to pick up the two bottles of water that I had left in the room! I had my wallet in the car and the car was parked and I ran back in to pick up the two bottles of water and she said that I need to see your ID! This was the same employee that checked me out exactly five minutes ago!”

• They had a lovely customer appreciation cocktail party on the night I stayed there, with very nice appetizers.
• I would not want to walk in this area at night and you would have to drive to restaurants.

“The hotel had the sleep number bed and was quite comfortable. With only one elevator, it would be difficult for an elderly or handicapped person to walk to the elevators if their room location was like mine at the center of the hotel.”

• Restaurant breakfast waitress not very good on Saturday a.m.

“In town with about 1200 Harley riders, about half of whom stayed at Radisson. Also had a large group of Navy and Marine cotillion guests on Saturday night, they turned out to be noisier and drunker than the Harley riders. Staff was always courteous and helpful, never seem rushed.”

• It's location to the Court I was going to for Jury Duty from Sonora.
• The walls are very thin in the rooms, and I could hear my neighbors on both sides. I wish there was a complimentary breakfast instead of a newspaper.

“The staff was very responsive to my needs; it's a beautiful building and close to my destination. The restaurant looked nice, a bit un-cozy though and the prices looked reasonable although I did not eat there.”

• Only one restaurant - food should be better quality.

“The area was OK - not nice. I felt safe inside. I was pleasantly surprised once inside. Lobby and my room was nice, bedding upscale, wireless access in room slow. Lobby bar service great, room service good, breakfast in the restaurant had bad service and I was only one of three tables! Food was below average. Front desk could be more professional, meaning friendly and efficient.”

“The staff was excellent. The restaurant even heated my leftovers for me the next morning with no complaint (unheard of since the food wasn't leftover from that restaurant!). The wi-fi worked very well. The bed was very comfortable.”
