• Hotel was very clean and family friendly. Exercise room was very clean and cool.
• Pool only reached 4.5 ft deep.

• The hotel was clean and looked nice. The beds were great; they were very comfortable.
• There is not enough sound-proofing between rooms. I could hear every word of conversations in the rooms next to mine. It was terrible.

“The hotel, in itself, was great. However, I was placed next to a large group of people traveling together. They were up at 7:00 am and loud and disturbing until nearly 11:00 am. I could hear every word of conversations being held in the next room, in the hallway and even people outside in the parking lot.”

• Well appointed, very clean, comfortable, very courteous staff.
• Terrible directions on download, at night it was awful to find!

“The staff was extremely courteous, rooms and hotel, very well appointed. The morning "Continental" breakfast was unbelievable, lots of choices and so delicious! My only suggestion is better directions on for the download. We had great difficulty locating the hotel according to the directions received.”

• The free cookies!
• The entrance was directly inaccessible from the far side of the road so you had to kind of double back.

“This hotel was nice, clean, and quiet. The price was great for the amenities (pool, breakfast, cookies, etc.), and the breakfast spread was very nice!”

• The common areas were clean and the staff was attentive to our needs.
• It is close to the airport and occasionally you can hear planes overhead.

“We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It has all of the modern day conveniences of the luxury hotels at a fraction of the cost - (indoor pool, fitness center, plasma TVs in the common areas, a business center, etc.) The staff were very pleasant and attentive to our needs. My son loved swimming in the warm water of the indoor pool. We will return and highly recommend that other travelers to the area stay here as well.”

• I liked the complimentary breakfast, newspaper, and the pool.
• I did find pieces of hair that was on a bar of soap in the shower before any of us took a shower!

• The coffee machine was good.
• It was super noisy. Could hear everything.

“I would stay at this hotel again because it's so convenient to the airport, but I won't plan on getting any sleep while there. The planes from the airport didn't bother me just the noise from the top floors.”

• Staff was incredibly kind and helpful.
• They failed to notify that the pool was closed and then repeatedly provided incorrect dates it would be ready.

“Hotel was fine; beds were comfortable, location good. However, the hotel pool was closed without notice when we arrived, a big problem for my kids. On check-in, I asked about this; they couldn't explain why I hadn't been told when I had called earlier, but said it would open the following day. However, the following day it did not open, nor the day after that. The false information was problematic. That said, the staff were very kind, and they contacted another hotel nearby and arranged for us to use the pool there. Very helpful under the circumstances, although trucking over to a remote pool in -5, -20 wind chills (literally), was a pain.”

• Public places like the kitchen available anytime of the day were beneficial especially with kids.
• No wireless internet you would need cable to connect/ blocked many websites.

• We were there during an ice storm and we heard the hotel staff shoveling outside our window all night. Also, the people in the room next door were loud.

• Nice breakfast with longer hours than normal.
• Confirmed for 2 doubles for 4 people only received 1 king no rollaway available 2 had to sleep on floor.

“As stated above, we did not receive the accommodations which I confirmed the night before. They were completely booked, so we could not switch rooms. We had 4 people and 2 had to sleep on the floor with extra blankets. Not the most optimal sleeping conditions. The breakfast was nice and staff friendly.”

“The lady that checked us in was short and rude and so was the lady that worked in the free breakfast area. The pool was already closed at 10 when we got there on a Friday night. Other hand it was in a great location very clean and comfy. Would stay again. They just need some new friendly staff members!”

“The general appearance was very nice and clean. The front desk person was not so nice, I felt like I was bothering him. The morning person was much better. The breakfast was okay, not the best, juice was warm food was not the best selection and there wasn't any fresh fruit that I could find to choose from”

• The hotel is clean and breakfast is included. The location is also good for my needs.
• The linens and bedding are showing wear and should be replaced. Especially the bedspreads.

“I have stayed at this hotel for the past two years while my son attends college. This was in a great location to his apartment. We visit several times a year and usually choose this location.”

• I liked that this hotel offered a very nice breakfast selection.
• The only thing that I didn't like was that the movie ordering device was not working.

“The Country Inn and Suites is a very nice hotel. Extremely reasonable in price and worth more than I paid. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was very bright and large enough for two to be using the mirror at the same time. The beds are not down, but are comfortable. It was a quiet environment that I would absolutely recommend. Even the breakfast was great, egg and sausage patties, biscuits, waffles, French toast, and several cereals as well as yogurt, Danishes and more.”

• The bed was comfortable.
• Toilet plugged in AM, staff didn't fix it, and we had to fix it.

“All The good that I experienced was wiped out by my having to plunge a toilet open. Their housekeeping was not fluent in the English enough to process or pass on our request made in the morning to have the toilet in our room repaired by the maintenance staff. Instead, I had to go down to the front desk to pickup a plunger (I also had to return it to the desk).”

• The staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant!
• Be sure to call ahead if you want a nonsmoking room. We got stuck with a smoking room, although they tried to freshen it up for us).

• It was nice and in a good location.
• Usually for a 2.5 star in a suite type hotel I get a suite with microwave and fridge, but didn't this time. Not a big deal.

“It's a nice hotel in a good location and it accurately reflects the 2.5 star rating. I also got it for about $7 less (even after all fees and taxes) than a similar hotel if I had used a hotel coupon book (which usually saves about $5 on its own). So the savings over regular price is at least $12.”

• A limited amount of breakfast food should be available earlier than 6:00 am.

“Since this hotel is nearest the airport, a limited breakfast menu should be available since many guests need to be at the airport by 5:00 another than that. This is a great place to stay.”

• Clean rooms. Relatively quiet.
• Unavailable shuttle. No on-site restaurant. Bad pizza recommendation.

“This is a fairly new, clean and comfortable hotel with the expected amenities for the star rating. It's actually far better than the Radisson in Bloomington, which pretends to be a 3+ star hotel. My only 2 complaints were that the complimentary shuttle was not available either weekend night (due to staffing problems), and todino's pizza (from the menu in the room) was dreadful. Get something else.”

• Flexible. Staff assisted when checking in early.
• Apparently, there were no non-feather pillows anywhere in the hotel!

“Aside from the night attendant trying to pass off a 100% waterfowl filled pillow as being "foam" (my wife is allergic to feathers) the hotel visit was quite nice. We arrived 2.5 hours before check-in time, but was able to have a room early (needed to store a plant inside while we attended other events). Quite accommodating. It'd be a feather pillow thing.”
