“The hotel was not nice, 1 star maybe, not a 2.5 star. There is a train that rolls through nearly every hour, right next to the hotel. Try to sleep with the ground shaking and the haul of a train passing by. Not to mention the place is a haven for college kids looking to party. There were at least three separate loud parties going on for half the night. This is not a place for anyone other than college kids. I would never stay here again.”

• Proximity to NIU - which is where my mom and I were headed.
• Room a bit unclean, found someone's medication on floor - lucky I didn't have a pet or child around.

“The hotel is old - and shows it. The rooms were not cared for. I found someone's medication on the floor (thank goodness we didn't have a pet or child roaming around) and both the alarm clock and phone were disconnected (I had to move the furniture to plug them in).”

• Outdoor entry for all rooms.

“The hotel itself is inelegant and there is outdoor entry to all rooms. But my room was extremely large with full kitchen, four sofas, two sitting areas, Jacuzzi tub, and counter with stools. Great room.”

• The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect for our travel.
• The bathroom floor was very dirty as was the carpet.

“The hotel was nice. The breakfast area was very clean. It is close to the college and a main intersection.”

• The hotel bathroom was very clean and they gave you real towels instead of paper towels.
• My son left his shoes in the room with the internet and someone took them.

• Clean.
• Phone, A/C and toilet all did not work right.

“The breakfast is a joke. The staff told is that we were to have room next to each other. The only thing that was close was the numbers. The second room was on the interior of the motel and the first was on the exterior.”

• The room was great and so was the staff.
• Nothing.

“We were greeted by a very friendly and happy desk clerk. She was eager to see that our needs were met. We had a suite for my husband and my daughter, which was spacious and comfortable. A clean and good sized pool to swim in. We had an enjoyable stay.”

• No variety of food during the breakfast.

“Should improve in a variety of food during the breakfast, and facility in a room like microwave and refrigerator should include in a room.”
