“Continental breakfast was fair. Beautiful old building. Window air conditioning didn't work really well. Everything else was well maintained and comfortable. Well groomed. Nice staff. I would stay here again.” Sep 19, 2009 by
Leslie from Lawrenceburg,IN
“We were very pleased with this hotel. The rooms were clean and attractive. The hotel is within walking distance to lake and Wrigley. It is very quaint and quiet. They also have a continental breakfast.” Jun 13, 2009 by
Louise from Memphis,TN
“Excellent location, especially for a Cubs game, or for visiting Lincoln Park. Public transportation was convenient, as was the parking arrangement for my car ($22.00 per day). Desk attendant offered suggestions for restaurants and was generally helpful. I'd stay here again.” Jun 2, 2009 by
Robert from Milwaukee,WY
“Looks like a favorite of Cubs fans. Easy walking distance to Wrigley Field. It is also a half block off Lake Shore Drive.” Mar 23, 2009 by
Jesse from Kalamazoo,MI
“The elevator was broken and the rooms were not well maintained. I expect much more for the price.” Oct 2, 2008 by

“The location was in an attractive, safe neighborhood. There was convenient access to Chicago public transportation. The room itself was a little stuffy; we couldn't get the temperature on the window unit to work properly, so the room was either too warm or too cold. Other than that, we really appreciated the continental breakfast and the style of the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was clean.” Sep 22, 2008 by

“I came to see four Cubs games in four days. What a friendly, nice, side street hotel! Quiet side street! A nice easy walk to Wrigley Field. Wrigley Ville bars and restaurants and friendly people are all around. A Jewel/Osco only a block away. Comfortable clean room with a great bed, I slept like a stone. The L is next to Wrigley, but a bus down Lake Shore drive to downtown is at the end of the hotel's street. The express bus numbers 145 and 146 drop you on Michigan Avenue anywhere from the beach stops all the way downtown, and it's fast. A great place to stay. I'm retired but would have loved to have known of this when I was traveling on business, as well. I didn't need a car. This is a jewel of a place.

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Majestic. We were on our honeymoon and in Chicago to see a cubs game and this hotel was a perfect fit - walking distance to Wrigley Field and romantic. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Jeff from Kansas City, MO
“This was an excellent hotel for the price. It is very close to Wrigley Ville, Lakeview and Lincoln Park. I had the king suite, which was cheaper than standard rooms at some other hotels, and it was a huge room, very nicely furnished. I will always stay here when visiting this area of Chicago.” Aug 4, 2008 by
Liliana from Virginia Beach, VA
“I would definitely recommend this hotel as a weekend getaway. The room was small but perfect for my boyfriend and myself and the hotel was very clean and well kept.” Aug 1, 2008 by
Earl from Fort Myers, FL
“Very pleasant area, close to bus and El train. Nice breakfast area and lobby, more like a grand living room. Rooms are very cozy with comfortable Sheraton type beds.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Erin Y. from Cedar Rapids, IA
“Everything about this hotel is fantastic! The rooms are petite and romantic, there is always coffee and cookies in the lobby for free and continental breakfast was delicious! I will forever come back to this hotel! The staff is so knowledgeable and taught us how to use the bus system, anywhere we needed to go they got us there. They hold the door for you every time and carry your bags to your room. I loved this place! It's also close to shopping and eating in a very quiet homey part of town. I would live here if I could! Thank you Majestic Hotel and the front desk lady for making our stay so unforgettable!” Jul 28, 2008 by
Peter from Dallas, TX
“The neighborhood is great, a beautiful spot tucked between Lake Shore Drive and North Halstead. This is an old-world style building (lots of stairs). It is beautifully decorated, the rooms are small (cozy), but with a very spacious bathroom (my room The room was very comfortable, but lacked a view). Housekeeping was good. Overall, the hotel was very quiet. The wireless internet system was very easy to use, and provided for free. The room lacked an iron and ironing board, which is annoying. Parking is very difficult and the valet takes a long time. I will certainly return, but this is not the best choice if you need easy in-and-out with a car.” Jul 26, 2008 by
Carolyn from Williamsburg, MI
“Friendly staff, excellent accommodations - parking was a problem.” Apr 20, 2008 by

“The hotel was very clean and within walking distance of Wrigley field which was great. However, my husband left his wedding band on the nightstand and it was gone when we came back. The hotel staff was less than helpful.” Hotel Representatives:
