• The beds were fabulous. Tony the doorman was outstanding and went out of his way to help us with transportation.
• Shower didn't have any water pressure and the room was not made up between nights.

• I liked the fact that they had a business office for use of a computer.
• If this hotel had a swimming pool, it was not made available to us.

• The rooms were spectacular, the best we have stayed in and we always stay 4 star.

“The hotel staff is very friendly, not afraid to make recommendations. We had absolutely wonderful rooms (3) each one was well appointed, clean and spacious. They did not ask us to upgrade to this level of room which seems to happen with internet bookings often.”

• I liked the decor and the bathroom and pillows. Nice quilt and comfortable bed.
• They did not give us a key for the mini bar in room. No free coffee in the morning and the maid came to the door before check . Bad shower head.

• Unique furnishings and great comfort.
• Bathroom door and shower door were too close.

“The Fairmont was a great place to stay. The lobby was beautiful and the rooms were updated and unique in design and furnishings. We had a great view of the lake, Soldier field, Millenium park and Shedd aquarium.”

• Friendly staff, Large Room, High Floor given, attractive, and quiet.

“Check In person asked if we wanted a high floor then gave it. Good view, good location, lobby attractive and not congested. Elevators fast. Restaurant very serene.”

• Room design very modern and straight forward.
• Internet rates too expensive.

“This was one of the nicest hotels I stayed in Chicago. I would prefer this one over my latest stay in the Hyatt and Sheraton anytime. Nice lounge and bar in the hotel, very nice rooms. Internet was expensive with 15.62 US-$ for 24 hours. Anytime again.”

• location was great and the room was very nice.

“The hotel was off the beaten path but in a great location for walking or using the underground pedway. The room was very nice and the bathroom even better. The only downside was that they did not have vending machines. We woke Sunday am and we were very thirsty (too much fun the night before) and we were told if you wanted popcorn you had to order from room service or the mini bar. Too expensive!”

• Loved the location, view from our room and service from hotel staff.
• The attitude from the girl who greeted us at Aria, but it was 6 am.

• I liked the general decor, the work was done poorly though. The linens were AMAZING!!
• 35 minutes for hot water, dirty towel's, broken TV, 5 dollars a minute for a phone call, rude staff.

“The hotel lobby is fantastic, the lobby bar, pretty rude staff. Our room looked nice at first, then we noticed the poor renovation work, the broken mirror and stained towel. The TV didn't work, it took 35 minutes to get hot water to our room. The drinks in the Bar where very pricey, $13 for any drink. I ordered a plain cosmo and they brought me their sig. Grapeftuit cosmo, the waitress then told me that is all they make so I'd have to deal with it. It was pretty bad, very, very strong. My cell didn't work in the hotel so I used the room phone two times to call home and check on our kids, we got a bill for 32 dollars for the two calls. When we went to check out they tried to charge me for WiFi and I didn't even have my laptop with me. Parking is $49 dollars a night, very expensive.”

• Room and valet parking.

“The hotel was beautiful, but the room was between two and three stars. The valet parking refused to bring my car down to retrieve a bag I left. I was subjected to picking up my car keys, locating my vehicle, and returning my car keys to the valet parking attendant.”
