• Great location.

“This hotel was perfect for a visit to downtown Chicago. Walkable distance to restaurants and sites throughout the city. I would definitely stay here again.”

• Customer service was outstanding from the front desk and valet to the housekeeping department.
• Would have been nice to have a lounge to go to for an evening drink.

“Conveniently located just 1 short block off the Magnificent Mile. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Customer service was outstanding. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived at 8:30 am and had a room by 9:30 even though check in wasn't until 4. They even called us to let us know the room was ready. They gave us a late checkout of 4 as well. We used the whirlpool. The swimming pool was too small for laps but would have been great for kids. Theaters and the train station are just a short taxi ride away. Shopping and great restaurants are in easy walking distance.”

• Location.
• Not kid friendly.

“Location is great. Mixed experience with hotel staff. Fast check-in. Not offered to help with our luggage. Rooms are OK. Carpet seems to be rundown. We had a toddler, constantly got noise complains when he cried. That shows the hotel did not had good sound proofing. Will not stay in the hotel again. Holiday Inn downtown might be a better choice.”

• Location, price, staff all exceeded expectations.

“The Four Points by Sheraton was by far the best place I've stayed at in Chicago. The staff was excellent, I asked to get a King rather than two Queens as they had ready for us, which they did not have any problem with. We got to our room and wow! It was huge, had a balcony, and small jacuzzi tub (one person comfortably), and I could see Miracle Mile from the window/balcony. Later, we wanted to get some wine, and Trader Joe's was literally around the corner, and we got a bottle for 3 dollars there. Downtown Chicago has never been more reasonable and fun for me!”

• Hotel is conveniently located to many places of interest on or near the Mag Mile.

“Hotel states they offer free bottled water. One bottle was left in the room, while there were two of us staying. We requested another bottle, but it never came. There were some loud hotel guests hanging out in the hallway on our floor. The bellhop was very friendly and helpful.”

• The front desk man, was super. So were the rooms and location. Bravo.
• The woman in the Sunday morning on 4th floor breakfast place deserved help.

• I liked the location and that is about it..
• Lifts were too far from my room.

“Since this is a 3-4 star hotel I expected more, but this hotel greatly disappointed me. The toilet in my room didn't work properly, the entire time I was there. They tried to fix it, but it still didn't work right. I assume they would just give me another room. It worked okay for little while, but the problem came back. Since I was only staying there for one-night, I let it go. I told them when I checked out they need to seriously fix it. Also, this hotel only had on set of guess lifts on each floor. Based on how this hotel is designed, my room was way on the other side of the floor away from everything including the lifts and ice machines, and vending machine. I have a very long walk to take if I needed anything. Also, the rooms are decorated like something from the 70's. ugly curtains in the rooms, very nasty looking. I hope to never stay in another Sheraton Four Point Hotel again. For the cost of a room, they can keep, not worth the money at all.”

• The staff were friendly and helpful.
• Our room was pretty tiny. No couch or table. Sort of plain decor.

“The staff were helpful and friendly. The location was excellent for our reasons for coming to Chicago. The bed was very comfortable, but our room was quite small and the decor was nothing special- sort of boring, actually.”

• The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was always friendly.
• Nothing.

“I was extremely pleased with our stay. The rooms were nicely sized, had a good view and the staff was very friendly. The location cannot be beat, only 1 block from Michigan Ave and a short 5 block walk to Water Tower Place. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice hotel in a great location.”

“The Four Points is perfectly located on Rush Street in River North. It has the feel of a smaller hotel, even though it is quite large. The room wasn't huge, but it was comfortable, with microwave and refrigerator that would be appealing to families on a getaway. The pool is nice. I would have appreciated that local sports channels be included in the TV offerings. I was looking forward to seeing the White Sox from the comfort of my room, but Comcast Sports is not included.”

• Comfortable, clean, friendly, great location, parking was easy and convenient. Parking privileges were good the following day until 6pm.
• I wish that there was more information on local restaurants and shopping available to guests.

“My teenage daughter and I had a very nice stay here. We both appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of the room. She enjoyed the TV options for playing games and purchasing extra shows. The location was great. The parking was convenient. I considered it a real plus that parking privileges extended for 6 hrs after check out time.”

“The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious - much more so than some of the higher rated hotels in the area. There was even a microwave and refrigerator in the room which allowed us the opportunity to take advantage of Trader Joe's, located right next door. The location of the hotel was perfect - centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go. The heated pool was wonderful. Very Nice.”

“The bed was hard and uncomfortable, the staff seemed too occupied to answer questions about the area, the restaurant was too expensive to even consider as a viable place to dine. Overall this hotel was less desirable than two star hotels I've stayed in while traveling in other places, in fact the only hotel available on my last trip was a one star hotel and it was more relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable experience than this one.”

• The kids loved the indoor heated pool. We loved taking advantage of the refrigerator and microwave; brings popcorn, hot cocoa, fruit & cheese.
• The parking costs always seem exorbitant, but they do give in and out privileges.

“Perfect for the family. It had two doubles and a pull out (double) couch, so we could separate the kids. Being that the price was approx 1/2 we felt it was of good value.”

• It was convenient and centrally located. I felt safe there too.
• The bath drain was slow which a pet peeve of mine is.

“Chicago is an expensive town anyway. I got the room at a price I would only get at a group rate. Still, for that amount I expect everything to be fairly perfect. The drain in the bath was slow but aside from that it was clean, the room smelled fresh and the bed was fine. The staff was friendly and it was fairly secure as well. What more can you ask for in a room or a hotel?”

“The room was very basic. Front lobby very nice. Staff helpful and polite. Pool area small but very clean. The hotel would be great for a business traveler. We were on a vacations and I thought the rooms would be nicer. My greatest complaint about the experience was that due to a flight delay my daughter didn't arrive until the Saturday and because the room was prepaid I end up loosing that money. Also family we were traveling with from Toronto actually ended up paying less for one night of their stay and they booked directly with the hotel.”

• Sound proofing could be better.

“All in all a good experience, though a bit pricey. Staff was very friendly, business center came in use, breakfast was good and location was great. Only real downside was the noise from other rooms / the corridor could be easily heard in my room. If I were to stay downtown again, I may be brave and name a price to get a bit more for my buck but again, if you want a great location in the heart of the city and friendly staff to match, this is your place.”

“Without being terribly familiar with the Chicago area, I couldn't have found a more centralized location. It was smack dab in the middle of the miraculous mile and situated within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The front desk attendant who checked us in was not only polite, he offered up suggestions and provided directions without being prompted (and without offering props to specific restaurants). The experience was truly my best weekend jaunt.”
