• Lots of amenities and nice spacious room.
• Initial cleaning was a bit spotty.

“Good hotel out in suburban Indiana. Nice pool and gym. Spacious and well-appointed room. Didn't get a full complement of soap and towels until our second night.”

• The location was fine.
• There was a sliding door with an unstable lock to a second floor exterior balcony. It felt very unsafe.

“There was not much hotel staff. The few there were passably nice, and nothing extraordinary. The big problem was a very insecure sliding glass door from the room to an external area by the swimming pool. I couldn't sleep after realizing that the lock would not hold if anyone jiggled the door. The room service menu was terrible - nothing vegetarian, nothing light, and nothing particularly healthy. The hotel was huge. I just wanted to eat and rest. I barely ate. I didn't sleep.”

“Very frustrating. The Internet went down the first day of our stay. I was there on business and needed Internet use. The business center had an Internet that was working but only one computer. I went to the front desk 3 times so they knew it was urgent. It would have been nice to at least offer us dinner or something. We only had cold water for showers. The hallways were very outdated.”

• Tremendous waterfall and sunken swim pool in the lobby.
• Service in Stars restaurant.

“Room is tastefully decorated and beds are good. However, HVAC not working when we arrived. They never came to fix it; so we fixed it ourselves. Starbucks in lobby is nice. Front desk personnel are friendly.”

• The beds were very comfortable.
• The rooms were quite small for 4 adults and very few outlets.

“The location was great for us and the rooms were clean; However, we were with 4 adults per room and it was rather tight. We did use the hot tub, which was nice. Overall, it was a good experience.”

• It had a good location and the staff was very friendly.
• No one picked up the breakfast order form from the door.

“It was okay. It was a little worn down for a 3-star hotel. The carpet was worn and the bathroom had some wear and tear. The bed, however, was amazingly comfortable. The heater in the room was either on or off, no real in-between. The dial was broken. I put my breakfast order on the door as instructed, but no one picked it up. I didn't realize that until I was waiting for it to be delivered and I finally checked. Waiting for it, then having to grab something on the go, got my day off to a late start.”

• Whole lobby under construction.

“While normally a fantastic hotel, when you take away the large pool/bar area because it is all under construction, the place loses its charm. I am sure it will return to splendor when construction is done. The room itself was very nice, bed extremely comfortable.”

• It was being remodeled so the pool and bar area were closed and we were not informed at reservation.

“I think it will be wonderful when the construction is all complete, but I wish we could have known about the pool being closed at the time we made the reservation. The kids were so disappointed and it was too cold for the outdoor pool. The price was a bit high too considering all the public areas were closed for renovations. It made us feel very unwanted.”

• Customer service, hotel quality, noise level, commodities, etc., etc.

“I will never use that hotel again. The staff/room/customer service/quality of service/room was terrible and I am very, very disappointed. My children also were very upset that they couldn't swim in their pool; it was ice cold/inside pool.”

• The room service food was very good (Irish food) and not your typical fare.
• There was nowhere to park and nobody to help us with that.

“Overall, this was a nice hotel, although initially they gave us somebody else's room. When they fixed that problem, they gave us a room with one queen-sized bed for 4 people, so we had to call and get 2 more beds delivered. Initially they said they would charge us $25 for each, but fortunately they didn't. The pool was really nice and the fact that they had a Starbucks was also appreciated.”

“The hotel appears to be nice when you first arrive. The pool area is beautiful. The rooms are very small, musty and needs to be remodeled badly. I have stayed in the hotel before in a King Jacuzzi suite which was very nice. So, when I stayed in April I was very disappointed with the hotel. I also didn't appreciate the security knocking on my door at 2 am about a noise complaints, when the noise was at the other end of the hotel.”

• The lobby is impressive and is great for kids, has pool, slide, golf indoors. rooms near lobby are nice, the other rooms are not as nice or clean.
• 2 families of 4 arrived to check, when they saw our 4 children they offered us 2 rooms in the back of the hotel near loading dock, far away.

“The hotel stay was OK, after we requested a new room on 2 separate occasions. The lobby are is very nice, the further away you get from the lobby the more run down the hotel looks. Nothing a little reconstruction couldn't fix. I would stay again only if we could get the rooms near the lobby.”

“I travel to this area quite often and usually stay at another hotel this hotel has a higher star rating and was highly disappointed with their rating from actual usage of hotel. The hotel was packed and loud and had a total stranger knocking on my door at 1am for 20 minutes and nobody from hotel cared or responded. Will be my last trip there definitely!”

“The hotel was clean and decor was relaxing. Pool was really nice (tropical decor), with multi-tiered poolside sitting areas and poolside bar. I would stay there again in a second.”

• The pool, putting green and indoor playground were fun.
• There was some type of excrement or vomit on the bed skirt and the resort was very noisy with partying.

“This hotel was not the best for our family. It was very noisy until 11 or 12 pm. There was smoke in public areas and the room was kind of gross with something we did not care to identify on the bed skirt. We would not stay at this hotel again.”

“The pool area was nice. The kids enjoyed that. It took an entire day to fix them. (we were staying two nights). Our room felt like it could use a really good cleaning. I have stayed in cleaner rooms before. The kids loved the pool area and play area. They'll be talking about that for awhile now.”

• My room had a select comfort bed.
• The coffee cups in the room still had lipstick from the previous user. It took two days for them to be cleaned.

“The hotel has been making renovations. The curtains in my room would not close properly or completely. The select comfort bed was a great plus since we have one at home.”

“The pool area was really nice and this is a good place to stay if you have kids with you; however, we were going for a valentines day getaway weekend just my fiancé and me. There were about 50 kids all around the hotel swimming and what not which made the hotel not quiet and relaxing at all (except for the sleep number beds.) Other than that there was a room service empty tray with food that sat by the room next to us from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. I think staff is lazy.”

• No hot water! Lots of miles on this hotel. Needs refurbishing.

“Good location. Plenty of facilities but, only one tread mill operating. People standing in line to work out. When working out is one reason you pick a hotel, this is bad. There was little or no hot water in my room. I let it run for a long, long time. Warm was best I got.”
