• Great location and super friendly staff.
• Only restaurant in walking distance was Friendly.

“Perfect location just off the interstate. We arrived late and left early - staff was very helpful and friendly. Free coffee in the lobby in the AM.”

• Location.
• Strong smell of smoke everywhere.

“This Holiday Inn was completely marred by the strong stench of smoke in the lobby that carried all the way up to the upper floors of the hotel. We couldn't enjoy our stay - it was that bad.”

• The price I got through, for the quality of room.
• Could always be cheaper.

“This Holiday Inn has been renovated so that the rooms are modern and well appointed. As a person traveling on business, I do not require fancy, but I do require clean as I don't use the room for much other than sleep.”

• We were given apples when we checked in.
• Our room and hall smelled like a wet dog!

“Our room (as well as the hall) appeared it had not been updated for a very long time. Seriously, the odor caused me to have a migraine by morning. We assumed all rooms would be the same since the halls also had the same odor. Our room was on the second floor, overlooking the roof with the air conditioner units and was in the corner next to the elevator.”

• Bed was comfortable.
• Peculiar odor throughout.

“This hotel was average. The lobby has a strong pool smell. The hallways are a bit musty, but the room is sufficient as long as you are just planning to sleep there. The bed is quite comfortable. A refrigerator would have been nice.”

• Convenient location.
• For price I paid I expected more, at least a little fridge for 110 a night. Check not until noon and housekeeper knocking at door at 10 am waking us up.

“It is rare I can splurge for a night out. There was a bed, a TV with few channels, and coffee maker. No fridge and no complimentary breakfast.”

• The location to the hwy and Downtown.
• It was under construction and by the airport.

“The hotel staff was not really friendly or helpful, just answered basic questions, I thought I booked a king but they gave us 2 beds, the hotel was under renovation and I wished we had known that, we would not have booked it at this time.”

• The staff was friendly, and helpful. The service was excellent.
• The outside of the hotel was a little shabby looking.

“This was one of the better hotels we have stayed in. The price was okay, the location is good, and the staff was friendly, fast, and helpful. The restaurant was inexpensive and had a good food.”

• Bar had nice flat screen TVs, public computers, good location.
• Older, a bit worn. Bathrooms need updating.

“Hotel was good for one evening; I would not have wanted to stay there for a longer visit. Bar area was nice, had nice TVs for watching sports. I did not use the indoor or outdoor pool, but the outdoor pool area was nice. Food at restaurant was mediocre at best.”

“It's a convenient location, but a musty, old hotel. I'd rather a smaller, cleaner, more welcoming hotel without a pool for a short stay.”

• Close to Interstate, dining across road.
• Bed was not comfortable.

“We had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Albany, NY the night before; therefore we were disappointed to be staying in the Holiday Inn the next night. All of our stays would be booked with you if we could always get into the Hilton Garden Inn's. It was wonderful, clean and great location. It is hard to be fair with this hotel after staying at the Hilton Garden Inn.”

• Good area, nice enough room. Would recommend.
• No negative comment comes to mind.

“My first concern is always the neighborhood. This is in a good one. Very convenient to freeways. Room was standard 2 1/2 stars. They offered no breakfast buffet however, which today is becoming more and more common and to a party of 3, worth at least $15/night. Otherwise, would recommend this establishment.”

• Very pretty lobby.
• Room was very mediocre. Very small bathroom with no frills, no closet.

“If you're looking for basic and adequate, this is it. Its got a pool and work-out room which is a plus, but it's sad that the lobby is its best feature and the rooms are the worst feature. Wish it was reversed. Paid too much for the star quality this is at.”

• Location close to interstate and rooms recently redone.
• Wi-fi signal was down for 1 day, and weak the rest

“Hotel has been recently been upgraded and it shows in the rooms. Not luxurious, but very pleasant. Nice pillows and room decor. Strange, but doors to rooms look like entrance to cell block 13!! Apparently rooms on second floor are the best so ask for them. Nice indoor and additional outdoor pool. Free Wi-fi a nice plus.”

• Outdoor pool area is quiet. Rooms overlooking outdoor pool are best.
• Restaurant food could be better.

“Now that the renovations are finished this hotel is worth the stay. As I said, the rooms overlooking the pool courtyard are best.”

• Convenient to Church Street, UVM, St. Mikes.
• Halls and doorways presented an "Old" appearance.

“An older Holiday Inn, rooms clean and quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Hallways need some updating. Nice indoor pool and an outdoor pool in a courtyard. No hot tub that would have been nice to soak in after a 4 hour drive. All and all satisfied with my stay. Would stay again.”

• Easily accessible to Burlington and just off highway. Right for the price.
• Nothing fulfilled my expectations.

“If you're looking for a clean, comfortable hotel within easy access to Burlington, airport, shopping, restaurants, this is right for the price. Staff fairly friendly. Beds fairly comfortable.”

• The location was great; room better than expected.
• No quite luxurious enough for the approx. $200 cost.

“A quite improved Holiday Inn; room was quite adequate and clean. Dining facilities were good; not fantastic....dining room staff was exceptionally kind and considerate. e.g. At breakfast gave us travel cups to take coffee with us. Reception staff was a bit abrupt not particularly friendly.”
