• They went out of their way to help us while my mother was having major surgery. We really appreciated it.

“Hotel was great for price & location. Was there 5 nights & greatly appreciated the hotel staff's helpfulness. Breakfast was good. The rooms were clean & ready for us each day. Enjoyed it so much better than the other place we stayed at the first night in Amarillo. Would stay there again.”

• It was close to the highway and convenient to restaurants and shopping.
• The room was clean but the bathroom needed an upgrade.

“This hotel is more than adequate for one nighters. I wouldn't want to stay much longer. The night person was very friendly and helpful. The person in the AM was very abrupt even though she wasn't busy.”

• The room met our expectation for being clean.
• Paper thin walls.

“We were up until 2:30 am because the walls were, so thin we could hear almost every word they were saying in the room next to us. We felt we were just getting to sleep when people starting getting up to leave and we could hear toilets flushing and showers starting. It was clean which is very important to us, but the noise was horrible.”

• It was clean for the most part.
• Rust and corrosion on the bathroom fixtures.

“Overall it was clean, access was a bit hard. I know the area but if you don't know the area its out of the way. There was rust on the toilet paper holder, corrosion on the drains for the sink and bathtub.”

• Lighting in room when you flipped switch was poor.

“Room was clean. They need to have a better light come on when you first enter room and flip the switch since a small little desk lamp was the only light until we went around and turned on all the other lights in room.”

“I've stayed at other Baymont Inns, and this one does not compare to the other properties. I was very disappointed with the room - AC did not work properly, beds were uncomfortable, and no remote for the TV. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Thanks.”

• Out door pool and breakfast was awesome.
• The beds were to small, should have had queens.

“This hotel met our needs for a place to sleep and play in the pool. The room was small and had 2 full size beds. I am 6'4'' tall and would have been better if the were queen size beds. The breakfast was just like home!”

• Cleanliness & disposable cups in the bathroom so we knew that they were clean.
• There were not enough towels in the room for the capacity of the room. The room we had, I guess was for the handicapped as there was no door to the.

“We did not know until we got in the room that it was arranged for handicapped and there wasn't a door on the bathroom. We would stay there again if we had a need to be in Amarillo.”

• It looked good from the outside.
• It was not clean, comfortable, or quiet.

“I would rate it a 1. The room was shabby. I don't think our bathroom was cleaned. I think they just replaced the towels and standard toiletries. There was mold and mildew between the bathroom tiles. It was disgusting! It was very noisy on our bottom floor room. You could hear people's conversations as they went down the hall as well as the people above moving around. When our neighbor's closed their door, it was extremely loud. The mattress was uncomfortable. We got very little sleep, which we really needed for the next day's 10 hour drive. I was very disappointed. I would never stay at this hotel again!”

• It was near Downtown Amarillo and attractions. It was only 15 minutes from the airport.
• It is two buildings down from a stripper club.

“It is not super fancy but is efficient. The warm continental breakfast is not the best in the world. The staff is great and the room was very clean and pretty nice. The workout room is not part of the main building so it is not very convenient to use. For a short trip we would use it again.”

• Large room, a clean, quiet stay.
• Rooms to the rear of the hotel have a very weak wireless internet connection, no wired internet.

“This was a good hotel. Large, clean rooms that were quiet for the most part. I had a great stay and would recommend for business use. Don't let them put you to the rear of the hotel as those rooms have a very weak wireless internet signal and there is no wired internet connection.”

• The breakfast was very nice and offered a good variety.
• The surrounding grounds were smelly and the towels were for people 7 and younger.

“We traveled across the across the country and I have to say that this was one of the moderate at best hotels that we stayed at. The location was on a one way street and if you missed the turn it was not easy to get back to. They were not on our GPS system so we could not find the exact location very easy and the shower was very confined and dingy looking. If all that you need is a bed and a breakfast in the morning this is a good place. Nothing special.”

• Easy access from highway.
• Desperately needs upgrading. Room was adequate but furniture was old. Shower curtain was torn & walls were paper thin and had cracks all over.

“It was late in the night that we checked in. After check in we went outside to get our luggage. Even though the receptionist could see that we had our hands full with kids and luggage, she would not automatically buzz the door open. We had to unload & free our hands just to use the phone to ask her to let us in. The hotel wasn't worth the money.”

“Staff was accommodating and the complimentary breakfast was good. Facility appears to be in various stages of upgrades, with some rooms being in worse shape than others. We saw pets in several different areas, so people with allergies should call ahead.”

• It had a smoky, musty smell in the hallway, breakfast was nothing to look forward too, the location was in a poor part of town.

“This hotel shows its age and repairs. The room I stayed in was nearest to the lobby, had a very nice tile bath, and was clean and quiet. I cannot complain at all about my stay.”

• We asked for rooms together and two beds and nonsmoking rooms and they gave us just that!
• The hallways were very cold, and we could hear other really loud customers in nearby rooms.

• It is easy to find, good continental breakfast selection.
• I've stayed before and was impressed this time the room we first got was very outdated and shower did not work.

“We stayed for two nights. One night was business second was pleasure. I don't feel like we got the best dealt the first night because the room was very outdated. The shower barely spit out water and the drain would not drain. The door had about a 1/2 inch gap from the wall and let in hall light all night. They moved us to the room right next door and that had a fridge, working shower and over all much nicer. It wasn't a bad stay, just very disappointing and a huge inconvenience to pack up again just to move next door.”
