• Liked the beds. Very comfortable.
• Not friendly. Very expensive.

“Only stay here if you do not want complimentary breakfast and if you want to pay to park your car. Ended up more expensive than I had anticipated. Stayed here for about 2 weeks and paying valet everyday added up.”

• It was clean, attractive and in a good location for downtown.
• Gift store prices for medications are outrageous ! No Parking other than valet !

• Very comfortable beds and nice shower massage.
• Maid service didn't come until nearly 5 pm. TV Remote didn't work, staff didn't send anyone when reported.

“Nice rooms, very comfortable beds and showers, and a really nice flat screen TV. I had to call the front desk to ask for maid service at 4:00 pm. The hotel was nowhere near full. The TV remote didn't work. It probably just needed batteries. When I called they say they would send one of their Engineers, who must have not been working the weekend, since no one ever came to check on it. Overall, though, it was a pleasant experience.”

• The updates to the public spaces were nice, the staff was super helpful and friendly.
• Updates to the rooms were only half completed. Furniture was nice, bathrooms and carpet were old, and my room carpet was dirty.

“A decent hotel that has all the amenities. Would stay again. The location is convenient and it is very easy to get to all the major highways and attractions. I liked the staff and enjoyed my stay.”

• Decent location.
• No customer service.

“This is an old hotel that was given a face lift. The lobby is nice and the location is not too bad. The customer service was missing though. When we arrived-the valet did not assist us with our bags or even offer to get the cart for us. Our air conditioner was broken and took a day and a half to fix. We were overcharged for valet services - which we only used once! These may seem like insignificant, but when I look back at the experience, the bad outweighs the good. The lack of customer service made our stay feel like a motel not a hotel. I would not stay here again!”

• No free parking.

“Enjoyed my evening. Rained all day and night but was in a great room. Loved the free Internet connection and flat screen TV. Local calls are a dollar.”

• Overall staff was friendly and helpful.
• Very few plug-ins, extension cords used, valet parking backed up for more than 30 minutes.

“I had stayed at a Sheraton hotel just prior to staying at this one, the first one was very nice and had recently been renovated. I was expecting the same when I stayed at this hotel, but found it was not as up to date. The staff, however were overall just as friendly and helpful! The valet parking only, was a little inconvenient.”

• Great pillows and nicely updated hotel.
• Only valet parking.

“This hotel has been nicely updated. The room was spacious and had wonderful pillows. The hotel was crowed and the lobby was a mad house. The lobby bar was never open. There is only valet parking for 18 a night. In and out privileges and very prompt. The concierge was never there - asked three times and given odd answers. Not for sure if they even have one. Overall a great value for the price won on Priceline.”

• Hidden charges and inattentive front desk.

“Though I paid less for my room, I dis not anticipate hidden valet charges. We gladly tipped them but no one mentioned $19 fee until bill was slipped under door. No one cleaned our room. Came back at 11pm to find dirty towels still on floor and beds unmade. No excuse. And then when they delivered clean towels he wanted a tip.”

• $19 to park on hotel property per night, otherwise park on street and pay.

• Easy to get to from the freeway.
• Not enough restaurants within walking distance.

“Hotel was easy to get to from the Interstate. Only restaurants within walking distance were steak houses. However, Fort Worth has a free trolley that runs every 15 minutes.”

• Location.

“Nice clean, helpful staff. Great location to FT Worth Sundance Square. Free trolly stop right at hotel. FYI - indoor pool only. Hotel had a very Spa-like feel. So that was a nice touch for our stay. Would definitely visit again.”

• Great pool and spa. Across from a lovely water garden.
• Parking is valet only.

“Lovely hotel conveniently located for our trip. We took the free trolley to get to meet our friends. It is convenient to park the car and not touch it until we leave. Service was good and we were surprised to have the pool to ourselves. It was an added bonus.”

“The room was dirty. There was pink stuff smeared all over one of the walls. I would have requested another room, but with 3 small children & all our luggage already in the room we just dealt with it. Also the linens were not changed between the 2 nights we were there. I informed the staff upon checkout & they didn't have much to say about it. I felt they could have done something for us for the inconvenience of a dirty room! For instance they could have waived the parking charges or something.”

• Nice pillows.

“This hotel merely pretends to rate three stars. It is generally user unfriendly. There are two sections of rooms. The main elevator near self parking has no signature. IF you are in the wrong section, you will get lost on an upper floor. The elevator to the other section is at the other end of the facility, again unmarked. The fitness center on the second floor is difficult to find, especially from the second room section. Although relatively new, my room had a large stain in the carpet. The counter in the lavatory was dirty. The self-contained air conditioning unit is in one corner of the room with the thermostat directly above it. Obviously, only the temperature in that corner is well controlled, in spite of constant cycling of the unit. In summary, the nice features of this hotel, especially the large pillows, are counterbalanced by the negative features.”

• Nice size room - comfy bed - convenient to Sundance Square and Billy Bobs.
• Bathroom needs upgrading - shower head way too low - no towel holders near sink.

• All through out was very clean.
• Not enough cream for the coffee in the room.

I was getting, especially at the price
I paid. This hotel is close to sundance square in Fort Worth, 4 or 5 blocks. It was about 10 minutes away from the stockyards where
I was attending a wedding. I thought a refridgerator in the room would have been nice.”

• I liked the people working in the restaurant and front desk during the daytime.
• Sometimes the lobby area was a little bit cooler than I like, but AC is what you want in Texas!

“I had a great experience at the hotel. My grandchildren and I stayed while in town visiting the attractions around the area. The Fort Worth museums and Stockyards are pretty close by and are fantastic sites to visit. I recommend this hotel for people traveling in for a fun weekend.”
