“Radisson hotel signs said they had sleep number beds in every room. Our room must not have been an "every" room because we did not have one. The entire hotel is non-smoking except 1/2 of the 5th floor (according to them). We received rooms on that 1/2 of the fifth floor. We do not like staying in smoking rooms. They said they were all booked and could not change our rooms. Note: No wireless internet. Must be hooked to a data port with an Ethernet cable. Hotel did not provide the cables, so good thing I happened to bring one. With that said, the rooms seemed clean to me and the bedding was nice in spite of no sleep number bed. I agree with other reviewers that I probably could have stayed somewhere else with much better service for cheaper than what I paid for this experience.”

• Quiet, comfortable, good parking facility and decent room.
• The hot tub was way too hot to even sit in ten seconds. Others there tried too, unable. Thermostat stuck?

“It was great, loved the sleep number bed and pillows. TV's could be updated to HDTV. Parking ramp felt safe and secure for my vehicle to sit over night. The hot tub thermostat must've been stuck. I like the water hotter than most people do and I couldn't sit in it. It must've been About 110 or better!”

• Lobby was somewhat outdated in decorate and unremarkable.

• The hotel would be very good for business and leisure travelers. They are so kind to give you water each day as you are thirsty in a dry climate.
• I am not too pleased with Sleep Number beds.

• They are renovating some rooms and the water was off for three hours.

“This is an excellent hotel. The staff is helpful and friendly, the location is excellent if you are looking for a hotel downtown, and the rooms are large and very clean.”

• Excellent location, very clean, renovations taking place that increase its value.
• Renovations water off for three hours one day.

“We looked forward to going to the Radisson hotel in Fargo. It is very convenient. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The food was good. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. We were spoiled when we had to move to another hotel one night because of the Radisson being full one night.”

• Very nice hotel with beautiful view of downtown Fargo.
• Usually a 3 star hotel has a pool, this hotel does not.

“Beautiful hotel in downtown Fargo, staff was great and very nice to work with. I would definitely recommend this hotel for business or couples. Not a great family hotel though because there is no pool.”

• Speed of light response to call for service of broken bed.
• Thought room size was rather small.

“We had a good experience and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I would have preferred two queen-sized beds instead of the two doubles this hotel offers, but then again I don't think the room would be big enough to accommodate them. Overall this was a very satisfactory hotel with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and very friendly staff. I would definitely go back there if I ever find myself in Fargo again.”

• We decided to eat at the Sunday brunch and found it to be fantastic.
• Railroad tracks were nearby, although the noise was not over bearing.

“We stopped at this hotel to check in and our reservation was waiting and the staff got us checked quickly with appropriate directions. The rooms offered select number beds which proved to be very comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed the room, restaurant, and lounge and feel this would be a wonderful place to stay. Since we did not see a pool, this may not be the "fun" hotel to bring your young children. But the adults will find this very comfortable.”

• We only had to stay one night.
• Smokey, dirty, Smokey, small, smoky, outdated, and very smoky room.

“You don't usually get the honeymoon suite, but the rooms are always keeping with the star level that you requested. None of this was true at the Radisson in Fargo. We had requested a 3-star non-smoking room. When we arrived, we saw much of what we expected of a 3-star hotel in the lobby, it was clean, fairly modern, the front desk staff seemed friendly enough, and it seemed about as grand as you would expect from a 3-star hotel. After checking-in we hopped on the elevator and when the doors opened were greeted with carpet straight out of the early 70's and a stench just as old. We found our room, opened the door that seemed to be falling off its hinges, and were greeted by more 70's styling and such a smoky smell that my eyes watered. It was like the previous 50 guests had used the room for chain-smoking parties. I immediately went to the front desk and told them I had requested a non-smoking room and if there was any way to change, at which time I was informed that the entire hotel was booked. I ended up getting a smoking 1-star room in a questionably 3-star hotel.”

• Bathroom light cover hanging partially attached from ceiling. Room not dusted or ever vacuumed. Crummy location.

• The sleep by number beds was great!
• Broken ice machines & elevators, bar closed on Sunday.

“Overall the hotel is very nice but it needs work to be of quality for the price charged in this location. The two worst things were that for most of the time, only 1, maybe 2 of the 3 elevators worked and when we checked in, we were given keys to an occupied room! Thankfully no one was in there when I opened the door. Just because this is the one of the only quality hotels in downtown Fargo, they should not overlook these kinds of details.”

• We had a room with a great view of Fargo!
• We were not told of the complimentary van offered from the Fargo dome. I asked about taxi's to the Dome and they never told me about the van.

“The hotel room was very clean and very quiet. We were able to walk to dinner and to the Fargo Dome (it was 19 blocks but on a nice day very doable). I did ask about taxi's and how to get to the Dome. Not once did the front desk staff tell me about the van they offer from the Dome after shows. After trying to get a taxi for 1/2 hr we saw the van asked for a ride the driver was great! He took good care of us. We also went to the hotel bar/lounge it was very nice. The staff were all great with the one van exception!”

• Location, small beds, no complimentary breakfast, broken equipment in gym, broken pop machine.

“I believe that this is my last experience; you obviously aren't doing field research before rating your inventory. A high number of amenities means nothing if they aren't maintained; broken pop machine, broken equipment in the work-out room, no complimentary breakfast. In this market, for a room with double (not queen double!) ”

• I did like the fact that the spa area and exercise area were in the same place.
• No pool.

“I think that the room could have been maintained a little better, wallpaper was peeling etc.. And my kids were disappointed that they did not have a pool. But a very good hotel for adults and people traveling on business.”

• The location was good. It was close to most shopping and dining and the staff that checked us in were polite and professional.
• Bathrooms had soap scum, low water pressure, lounge in the hotel was dirty, uninviting,could see the filth from our seats.

“The reservation staff was friendly and as accomodating as they could be. I thought this was to be a 3 star hotel, though. The rooms were run-of-the-mill, the bathroom in our room had a broken shower curtain, soap scum, no water pressure. The lounge, Passages, was uneventful and uninviting. I thought there'd at least be some music in the background but we had to whisper to each other to not be overheard b/c it was so quiet in there. We could clearly see behind the bar from our seats AT the bar and it was very dirty. The sink was covered in soap scum or water damage. The bar seemed old and wasn't kept up at all. Because of this we chose to venture elsewhere for food and drink. I've stayed at much less expensive hotels that provide a continental breakfast, quality toiletries, & immaculate rooms for much less than what we paid for. I”

• This hotel was all about high quality. They supplied all of the little details that you usually don't find in hotels, from shampoo to a tv.
• The hot tub was small and we did not use it

“ Our room had every amenity we could ask for. The view was beautiful, especially at night. The television was located on a stand at the foot of the bed, not across the room. Every possible toiletry was included. I felt pampered and safe in this room. Since this hotel is located downtown Fargo, we got a chance to explore old Fargo, away from the shopping malls.The only thing we missed from other hotels would be a swimming pool. The parking ramp was very handy, especially in inclement weather.”

• Nice rooms, excellent restaurant.
• We had problems with noisy people in the hallways at 2 am, later found out the local law authorities were called in.

“We stay at the Radisson quite often. It never fails to meet our expectations. The rooms are always clean, the passages restaurant outstanding, and the proximity to downtown and Merit care keep us coming back. Plus, the staff is always very accommodating.”

• It was classy, the room was nice-sized and clean
• It was hard to find and get to.

“Thank Goodness we took our car with the GPS! I would never have found the hotel otherwise! But once we got there the hotel was worth it; impressive, quiet and clean. We had to park the car in a parking ramp that was a little weird to get into but it all worked out.”

• Poor Hotel with no pool and only a portable hot tub.....Very disappointed
• Not Considered a 3-star hotel in my point of view

“It's downtown in a poor location for shopping and eating. It had no pool and they only had a 4 person portable hot tub available. I could have wasted my money on a Super 8 motel where I know I would have had a pool and hot tub with a better location. ”

• The front desk clerk greeted us with a friendly smile and our room was clean and comfortable.
• It is not conveniently located near most of Fargo's main shopping and dining.

“We have stayed at the Radisson Hotel Fargo on several occasions, both for business and pleasure. We have always received a warm welcome and have felt comfortable. I appreciate an affordable 3 star hotel that is very clean.”
