• Air conditioner did work in one room and switched to another.

• Easy access to and from interstate.

“We stayed at this hotel for a concert. AC was broken, no remote for TV, light bulbs missing from lamps and very grouchy front desk attendant arguing with us regarding AC and had to spend the first 60+minutes with maintenance in our room when we needed to be getting ready for event. Ceiling tiles were missing from bathroom ceiling, wallpaper coming off walls and bed seemed to give you a feeling of not clean or comfortable. No food except machines available. Bar opened late and bartenders didn't even know how to make any mixed drinks - in fact when ordering chilled vodka shots - I had to talk him through how to chill the drink!”

• It was close to where we needed to go.
• It had roaches and bugs.

“The walls were paper thin, the hotel room had a smoke stench in it, roaches and bugs were on the floor. The good thing about the hotel was that the staff was friendly. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody. It was too overpriced for the condition it was in.”

• Friendly staff.
• Couldn't get internet, smoke detector hanging from wall, no TV remote, no coffee and trim edging was peeling from wall.

“If I hadn't spent 12 hours on the road, I would have found another place to stay.”

• The beds were extremely comfortable and great view.
• The continental breakfast was lacking and no fresh towels were ever delivered.

“It was alright, we booked it because everywhere else was booked and given the opportunity to stay somewhere else first I probably would have. It was a last resort, but it served its purpose.”

“Dirty. The bathrooms had mold and tub would not drain.
I found a potato chip in my bed under neath the sheets and it was not mine! They did have free internet service though!”

• Easy to get to. Reasonably priced for the location. Indoor pool.
• I think there was dried blood on the towel rack in my bathroom. Also smelled like smoke.

“Pretty good. Definitely for the utilitarian hotel guest. Not very close to anything but the Stadium. Its a $10 cab ride to the Downtown Nashville area. Indoor pool is nice, and the staff were pleasant. Ice machines did not work on all floors, and the TVs have poor reception. Free Continental breakfast was meager. Also you can tell they do not enforce their smoke free policies.”

• The staff was the best thing about this hotel.
• Very old not in good condition.

“Walking distance to lp field. At night always a taxi waiting out side the hotel. The staff was really helpful. Only good things about this hotel. The ceilings are cracked and plaster falling carpet has holes and large iron burns all over room floor. The beds are comfortable but the rest of the room needs to be gutted and redone. Can't really walk around outside at night but as I said always a taxi at the door. Also dont move your car on game day they may sell your parking place.”

“This hotel had been rode hard and put up wet. Not the cleanest hotel but not to far from the dirtiest hotel. Really close to lp field is why we stayed there.”

• I loved the bar with karaoke and a pool table downstairs.
• The bathroom was filthy, not very well kept.

“We were there for a bachelor party, great place to go for something like that. Due to the cleanliness and its location, I would not want my family to stay there or children.”

• Dangerous neighborhood after dark.

“Less than a mile from lip field, the location couldn't have been better! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the pool and breakfast only enhanced my positive opinion of the property. The only downfall to the location is that it¿s seemed a little dangerous at night; I wouldn't recommend walking around after dark, but there are plenty of taxi-cabs so it isn't a deal-breaker.”

• Not clean, & ad states it is downtown & it is not.

“Bath room has hair on the sink & other body matter. Around the tub was very dirty with dust balls, etc. The carpet & chairs were also in need of cleaning. Ad states walking distance of downtown, but it is not downtown. Over priced for the services & location.”

• The location made it possible to walk to lip field.
• The front desk was not overly friendly.

“If you are looking for a place just to spend a night, then this is the hotel for you. I picked it for the price and its location by lip field. However, I felt the desk personnel could have been a little friendlier. Despite that, it was all I expected it to be and served my purpose well.”

• The location was good.
• The service was very bad could not get towel or the room cleaned and no one cared after we told them.

“The hotel would be fine if you could get your room cleaned and the staff was more helpful. The others staying at the hotel kept up noise all night long, over into the early morning hours. Very disappointed.”

• Cable TV was out so spouse was mad, bathroom was dirty and falling apart.

• Near downtown. Spacious room. Free wireless internet access.
• Located next to NAPA auto parts warehouse where they loaded trucks past 3:00 am. Rooms not sound proof.

“The bathroom needed extra attention. The anti-skid mat in the bathtub is torn, partially separated from the tub, and dark spots (possibly mould) circle the mat. I also discovered two hairs from the previous occupant on the upper edge of the tub. As I have stayed at many Days Inns across North America, this incident is an exception rather than the norm.”

• Finding pubic hair in the shower upon arrival and body hair on this sheets.

“The name of the place indicates it's downtown Nashville, it is not in the downtown area. It is in a bad area, we did not feel safe in the parking lot area. There was pubic hair in the bath tub, and hair on the pillows. We asked for the tub to be cleaned out and new sheets and pillows. The pillows themselves were all stained. When they cleaned the tub, we were out, when we returned, there were still pubic hair in the tub. This happened on a Friday night, there was no hotel manager there that night or on Saturday.”

• We did not like anything about the hotel or the service.
• It was filthy, being renovated, in an area with prostitutes. The manager was rude, the pool was disgusting.

“The Days Inn at the Stadium/Downtown was not "Downtown" it was across the river, Their "Jacuzzi tubs" did not work (the jets were plugged with silicone. The beautiful pool in the ad picture was so cloudy we could not see the bottom and it made us and the kids itchy and red all over within five minutes. The first room we were given had mildew and black mold in the bath and smelled like sewage. The second room had a problem with the sink drain that every time we flushed the toilet the sink would back-fill. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.”
