• Clerks were very helpful and friendly.
• My wife was very disappointed in the appearance of the room /building.

“Room needs work. The light over the sink did not work. There is a hole in the wall with no cover over it--cable TV connection. The screws were almost out of the security latch on the door.”

• It was close to the concert we attended at the Sommet Center.
• It had roaches, tub wouldn't turn off and was dirty or stained.

“I believe the pictures on the internet did not match the room we had. In the part where you check-in was an elevator that led you up to the nice rooms. Our room was across the parking lot in the nasty looking part.”

• Dirty hallways. No laundry facilities.

“I'm a business traveler, on the road for weeks. There was no laundry facility in the hotel and when I asked for one near the hotel, two front desk staff at different times advised me to go to a Laundromat located 2 miles from the hotel. I then discovered on my own (!) that there is a Cleaners who also does Laundry Wash & Fold by the pound 2 blocks (!) away from the hotel.”

• It was fairly close to where I needed to be.
• There was a homeless person coming out of the parking garage. I did not feel real safe walking to the room. The staircase were isolated in the corner.

“I was aware that this was a one star room so I should not have expected much but next time I travel by myself I will stay in a nicer place.”

• I didn't enjoy my stay at all.
• I had to change rooms twice, I had no hot water in the morning and there were electrical outlets with exposed wires beside the sink.

“Overall my experience was absolutely Horrible. I understand that it was a one star hotel, but for the price I paid at least expected to have lights that worked, hot water to shower with and no risk of electric shock to have to deal with.”

• Room had a bad smell, didn't replace coffee dirty elevator.

“Room did not seem clean. Elevator had a vomit smell for several hours. When we used the coffee the first morning, it was not replaced.”

“Not unless you are desperate for a bed, keep rolling. For the amount of money spent, this was below 1. I always check my sheets, dead roach under mattress, no cold water, my family in the next room had no hot water, only one light worked, no iron, TV picture was pitiful and only got 6 channels.”

• It was near downtown Nashville.
• AC was broken, dirty, poor service, horrible run down place.

“My experience at this hotel was horrible. I asked to have the AC looked at and finally at 1am I had to move rooms so that I could actually sleep. This place was horrible and the front desk was terrible in attempting to help patrons. The soda and candy machines were broken and would just take your money.”

• Really liked the pool. I had forgot some baby clothes and I had call the hotel and there gona send them back to me to get means a lot.
• I had booked a king, but I got two double beds.

“Nice friendly comfortable not a bad deal for how close you are to all the stuff to see and do.”

• The location and the parking facilities are convenient.
• The elevators are dirty and smelly and the carpet looks unclean.

“The rooms seems old and worn, but the beds are very comfortable and seem clean. There is lots of hot water and the location is extremely convenient for Vanderbilt University, Vanderbilt Medical Center and St. Thomas Hospital.”

• The girl at the front desk was very sweet.
• We had people trying to break in on us.

“The hotel smelled, the carpet was very scary - my blanket had a burned hole in it, the ice machine didn't work, there was a group of students who came in the middle of the evening - and kept us awake for a large portion of the night.”

“This hotel is divided in half. One half is actually okay. It offers free wireless internet access and seems pretty clean. The other half is totally the opposite and is unfortunately where my room was. There is no internet access in that part of the hotel ”

• The room was extremely hot and the outside temp was warm.

“The hotel itself is kind of old and a little run down; however the location and price are great. If you need a room near downtown, right off the interstate and don¿t mind cracked plaster it¿s a good cheap place to stay.”

“The room carpeting was filthy, and the overall appearance of the room gave me the immediate impression there hadn't been any remodel/redecorating at this facility in 15-20 years. Compared to other 1-star peers (red roof inn, motel 6, etc.), I would recommend any of those hotels above this days inn location. I definitely would not give a personal recommendation of this particular hotel to any of my family or friends!”

• The most horrific experience in a hotel ever!

“This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and for someone who travels 2-6 times per month that is a very strong statement. We were shown 3 rooms that were totally unacceptable after which we decided to just leave and go somewhere else. The place was run down, the elevator did not work, the rooms were disgusting and the staff was less than pleasant. I will never, ever stay at that hotel or recommend it to anyone.”

• Excellent location, right on West End.
• In midst of much-needed remodel. Dumpsters limit parking. Public areas are poorly kept. Though acceptably clean, rooms are in need of repair.

“I believe this hotel is just before being extensively remodeled. It needs it. Location is excellent though, and rooms are fine, especially for the price.”

• Vomit stains on the floor.

“This hotel is fine if you're on a budget - it's the cheapest in the West End. Still not cheap though. There's no Wi-Fi, there were vomit stains on the floor, foul smells around each corner, and the night watchman referred to the area as "Vietnam" after dark.”

“this hotel is the worst ever stayed in. locks didn't work. had a so called suite no tv in entertainment center in living area. someone had actually thown up in ice bucket and maid had left it. room stunk and was filthy dirty.”

• strip club next door, bullet holes in windows
• no pillow cases, no towels, stained mattresses, lights on constantly, mold on shower curtain
