• The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
• The wifi was not free and the hotel parking was expensive.

“The hotel was clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The soda machine ate our quarters, but a room service attendant happened to catch me and immediately brought the soda to our room. The staff was quick to respond to our minor requests. There is a modest gym and a clean shallow pool.”

• The front desk girl recommended a great sushi restaurant!

“Great location, beautiful room, clean, comfortable beds - liked the shuttle option but the driver was not real friendly so we opted for a cab on the return trip. Would definitely stay again and have already recommended it to others.”

• The room was clean! I cannot over estimate enough how important cleanliness is. Loved the pillows.
• No shower caps in bathroom. One of the shower curtain hooks was off. It takes $20 to park!

• Luxury bed linens and pillows, beautifully decorated room
• Price for parking $19-$21 per day, also lound music playing till 2am.

“Very conveniently located on the Vanderbilt campus (if that's where you're headed) our room had a view of the Parthenon. Unless you need to be near the university, stay elsewhere where the parking is not outrageously priced. Public space decor is contemporary and edgy while still luxurious. Room decor is simple and elegant. Staff needs to monitor noise level better. My husband and I were kept awake till 2am by blasting music on a floor below.”

• The bell hops and the valey attendants were very nice and helpful.
• It cost 22 dallors a night to park you car and the pool was only 4ft deep and for it to be a heated pool it was cold.

“It was an average hotel that thought it was a 4 star. I hate to bust there bouble but i've stayed at holiday Inns with this much flair.”

“The staff at this hotel was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle service they provided was excellent. They gave you a cell number to call for pick up and it was wonderful. The night manager was the best. We called for reservations at a nearby restaurant and they were booked, we went down to the front desk for a recommendation for another place to eat and she recommended the same place. We told her they were booked for the night, she made a phone call and got us in. She is the best. We had a great time and our stay here was a great choice. Would recommend this hotel to everyone. I would love to stay there again if I get a chance to go back.”

“I would expect a 4 star hotel to have free WiFi. Also one of the staff members screamed out his window across the parking lot at our cab driver for making a u-turn and it was so embarrassing.”

“This hotel would be great for a business traveler who is doing business with the university. We asked for a hotel in downtown Nashville so as to walk to the downtown attractions. We were 25 blocks from downtown and ended up driving everywhere. The staff was helpful. On top of the $19 a day to self park there is a tax on the parking making it $20.50 a day. We were put in a room with two full size beds. We had to sleep in separate beds! We were on our second honeymoon.”

“This Marriott is located across from Centenniel Park and we had a view from our room. The first room that they gave us had a leaky toilet and they immediately put us in another room. It was clean, friendly, quiet, and the beds were wonderful.”

• The bed was unbelievable. I wanted to take it home. Great night's sleep.
• Parking is extra. High speed internet is extra.

“The hotel is a great hotel and in a great location. The room was decorated nicely and had an unbelievable bed. I wanted to take the mattress and pillows home with me. The only two disadvantages were the extra charges for parking and internet service.”

• There was a bad smell from some work that was going on.

“For some reason there was a really bad smell in parts of the hotel, very bad in the room that we first checked in. We were promptly moved to another location and it was fine. The hotel staff was great and the location couldn't have been better for us. I assume that the smell thing was due to some work going on and would not normally be a problem.”

• Too, noisy. $20 parking fee. Staff unresponsive to complaints.

“We had a bad experience at this hotel. The add on of $20 for parking was a shock. The staff did not respond well or strive to appease us when excessive noise at 3:30AM was reported two times for a party in an adjacent room. This is partly due to lack of sound-proofing and very loud hallway doors.”

• Location was nice and convenient to interstate/downtown.
• Entry was way very dangerous, lots of backup, we had a lot of key issues.

“The hotel was nice and clean with contemporary styled rooms with a comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and remembered me since we had a lot of problems with our keys working for the parking garage and exercise room. If you can, do not come at peak check in time as the entrance driveway and very short. Cars were spilling over into the street and had major congestion which made it dangerous. Overall nice hotel.”

• The front desk attendants were absolutely wonderful - very helpful with ideas and infromation!
• No hot tub.

“All in all the hotel was great, it is a Marriott so what else do you expect. Great hotel with fantastic customer service. We had a great experience as we always have with Marriott and this hotel was no different. I would suggest it to anyone.”

“It is a 3.5-4 star hotel, the room we got was a little small for a king bed, but the bed was great. Housekeeping came around yelling housekeeping too early (9am). The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was helpful, the location of the hotel was good.”

  beautiful, and the cleanliness was outstanding.
• I was not able to adjust the air in the room, I like it cool.

“The room appointments were great. The comfort of the bed was the best I have stayed in. The bathroom was large and everything was clean. I loved the Bath & Body works toiletries. The view of the Parthenon was fabulous. I will definitely stay again.”
