• I loved the size of the room.
• The noise from the ice machine outside our room.

“We decided very last minute to go to Nashville for the night. I was VERY impressed with the hotel from the wonderful smelling candles that greeted us when we walked in the hotel to the huge room we had. We had a king size bed, a roll away bed, and my son had a pallet on the floor. There was still a ton of room left. All the employees were very friendly too.”

• The efficient way the reservations through Priceline was handled.
• The parking space was fairly far away from the front door.

“Our experience at the Marriott in Nashville was awesome. The room was decorated with a modern flair and everything was so clean. Plus, they provide awesome lotion/shampoo/conditioner! The only thing that bothered me was that they went ahead and charged my debit card $20 for possible expenditure but it will take 3-5 business days to reimburse me since we didn't damage/spend anything. No one warned me about that.”

• Fresh smelling rooms that looked crisp. Liked that the sheets were nicely ironed.
• Do not care for the heavy (warm) duvet - prefer a blanket.

• Customer service friendly, pleasurable environment, luxurious.
• Had to pay for services offered for free at more economic hotels.

“I could not ask for a better environment or customer service. I was pleased overall, and would certainly stay again. Room service is a plus with the ability to pre-order breakfast in room. I did not like the fact that I had to pay for internet service at a hotel designed for the business traveler.”

• The bed slept very well and was plush enough.
• There was a outlet just hanging by the night stand lamp and looked very dangerous.

“The place was very nice except that the hotel lobby elevator took for ever and ever and we decided to take the steps. there was one front desk clerk whom wasn't even waiting on us and she would interrupt and was very rude to us.”

• The bed was a little to stiff for my taste.

“I liked the room and the breakfast it was in a nice location close to the airport and not far from downtown. I didn't like the bed it was too stiff.”

• It's location in proximity to shopping in Nashville.
• Not enough television stations to choose from.

“Overall the Hotel was real clean and had friendly staff. This hotel was in a good location to do shopping at several different malls. It is also a good location to downtown Nashville.”

• The rooms were very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Staff was very friendly.
• This hotel had very thin walls and you could easily hear what was being said in the next room, for the quality of the rooms you should have more privy.

“This is a very nice hotel, with great accommodations, however, if you want a quiet hotel this may not be for you. The walls are very thin and you could easily hear what people in the hallway and the next room were saying, even if they were not being loud.”

• The cleanliness and acctractiveness of the facility was a plus.
• There were guest that yelled at the top of their voices in the middle of the night which disturbed my rest and made the experience unattractive.

“The faculty is a great place to stay if they can keep their guest from disturbing other guest. They did little to address my complaint of noise three times during the night.”

• Parking lot was full every time I came back in the evening.

“This hotel is perfect for the business traveler. Its location is close to the airport and several highways. King room offered plenty of space to work in your room. The coffee pot was dirty and the bathroom sink area needed some attention but I would stay here again.”

• The shower water pressure was too light.

“The Marriott exceeded our expectations. The lobby was beautiful and the staff was friendly and professional. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, it was loaded with pillows. The fitness center was large and had all the equipment needed and the indoor/outdoor pool was great, the hot tub was an added bonus. The check-in and check-out process was efficient and smooth. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Nashville.”

“I have to say that my stay at the Marriot Hotel was one of my best stays ever. The bed was oversized and great. Enough room for my husband to stay on one side and me have the other. Along with the bed, the bedding was quite nice. We are thinking about purchasing the bed that was at the Marriott. The comfort and noise level were great although we were near the airport, we did not hear the airplanes. And to top everything off, the staff was great help. I do have to say when I go back to Nashville which I will in November; I will stay at this hotel again.”

• The beds were comfy and the lobby and pool area was nice.
• The walls were really thin; you can hear your neighbors socialize.

“The hotel was very nice and the staff tried to accommodate us. But the walls are really thin; we could hear are neighbors socializing in the room next door which resulted in me not getting any sleep. The staff let us dine there for free, to make up for my lack of sleep, which was nice of them. I also enjoyed the little bath and body works little soaps they leave you.”

• The coffee I purchased there was weaker than normal Starbuck's both times I visited.
• Placing the sink outside of the bathroom (where the tub and toilet are located) would be a vast improvement.

“The setting is beautiful - gorgeous landscaping and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! We were especially pleased that they allowed our son to play the piano in the lobby one evening - it's a memory that we will always treasure. Two improvements I suggest are 1) locating the sinks (in the guest rooms) in a separate area outside of the actual bathroom; and 2) be certain that the Starbuck's serves the good, strong coffee we've come to expect both times I purchased from the store in the lobby, my coffee was weak in comparison to what Starbuck's usually serves.”

• I found no fault with it as a 3 star, upscale motel.

• I loved the Starbucks in the lobby!
• The handicap parking was accessible to the lobby and the side door was not easy to push a wheelchair and slide the key for entry.

“I made a last minute business trip to Nashville. I took my mother with me who is in a wheelchair. When we arrived, I told them that we would needed a room that was handicap accessible. They did not have one available so they upgraded us for free. The staff was excellent and the room was more than what we what we wanted, would definitely recommend!”

• Very clean and very courteous staff.
• Bar not open, and they charge per day for internet/ridiculous.

“The hotel is very clean and very well maintained. For the time being the bar/club is closed for renovation and I was not informed of that. It made it difficult to entertain my customers. When it reopens it will be a very nice facility. They charge per day for access to their network. That is ridiculous in this day and age. That should be included.”

• No vending machines on each floor, gift shop closed early.

• Indoor pool was large and warm-large exercise facility.
• Though convenient to Opry Mills and The Hermitage it is right where some major construction is going on. No continental breakfast.

• Beautiful hotel, nice pool, close to freeway entrances gets you were you want to go.
• Less than friendly staff...stuffy, although concierge was great.

“Beautiful hotel, pool was wonderful. Close to freeways which makes is very easy to get downtown, to the Grand Ole Opry or where ever you want to go. Staff was not as friendly (a bit snooty) as previous Marriott locations we've stayed.”

• The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
• I had to switch rooms because my movie channel did not work.

“Overall, my stay at the Marriott was very pleasant. I enjoyed the activity at the hotel, and all of the people. When my movie channel did not work, the hotel staff was very professional and moved me to a new room. Whenever I needed anything to make my stay better, the staff never hesitated to assist me. The only complaint I would have is that I thought the breakfast was overpriced. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.”
