• Clean, spacious room, nice furnishings, nice public spaces, and friendly staff.
• Bathroom was slightly dated, but clean and functional.

“Spring Hill Suites Nashville Metro is ideal for both business and leisure travelers. The property was very clean, secure, with an extremely friendly staff. We were within 10 minutes of the Downtown entertainment district. The property exceeded our expectations, I'd definitely stay there again.”

• Rooms were beautifully decorated, cozy, and almost presidential. Reminded me of a recent stay in London.
• The sign in policy to charge and put a hold on debit cards for incidentals. Untrained staff when it comes to answering customer questions.

• Clean.
• Beds were not as firm as I like.

“Lobby, hallways, pool/hot-tub area and rooms were nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and helped me with directions to VMC. Free Wi-Fi and nice continental breakfast (one of the best I've seen). Walls were not to thin, luckily for others (I had my 3 yr old). I have stayed in other Spring Hill Suites and have not been disappointed.”

• There was a lady on the hotel staff that was so sweet. She always smiled and said hello to me. She welcomed me back to TN. The staff was impressive.
• Sort of a moldy smell in the room.

“Overall, I thought it was a fine hotel. It isn't romantic. It isn't high-end. However, it is a safe, relatively clean place to stay. Everyone was extremely friendly. It was a great hotel to stay in since I was on a budget and in town for an event.”

“Our hotel was easy to get into and out of. We were greeted by a friendly staff who accommodated our needs. The rooms were clean and inviting, and the beds were wonderful! The complimentary continental breakfast was delicious, and check out was late!”

• The room space was very well laid out.
• There was an air of unprofessionalism about the whole affair.

“While the space was great and perfect for my needs, the lobby was extremely noisy at all times, the desk staff was attentive but unprofessional and it was very dark in the parking lot. Dangerous.”

• The staff helped us with transportation to downtown and things to see.
• The bathtub drain did not work when we got there and it did not get fixed until the second day, then worked fine.

“The overall looks and cleanness of this hotel is great and the breakfast was good. For a couple of or group Grits would have been good, but there was enough of other things. The hot tub was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful.”

“For the short time that I was actually at the hotel the staff was very nice. They resolved, to my satisfaction, an issue I had with the shower not working and the complimentary breakfast was pretty good.”

• They were very nice and had my son a portable crib set up in the room for me already when I got there. I will stay there every time I go to Nashville.

• I liked the separate sitting/work area and 2nd TV.
• Sauna/hot tub was broken; breakfast eating area very cramped.

“Overall the hotel is a good value. The bedroom area is a little cramped but that is because you have the extra sitting, kitchen and work area which I liked particularly the 2nd TV. My only suggestion would be to provide a way to close off the bedroom area. I also wish the bathroom vanity was a little bigger but again I'm sure to give you the larger sitting area there had to be trade offs. The hot tub was broken when we arrived and was still not fixed when we left. This was disappointing because we normally like to use that feature when we travel. The eating area for breakfast was very busy the morning we were there. The breakfast selection was decent but because the chairs around the tables had rather high backs it made maneuvering in the crowded room a little more difficult. The main reason I would not go back to this hotel would be its location. It's on the outskirts of what looked to be some rough areas of town and everything we were doing was over in the Vanderbilt or Downtown area. Although both were accessible via the interstate I would probably select something a little close next time.”

• It was clean, with nice pool and spa, and large room.
• I wish breakfast could have been open until 11 or so.

“This is a nice hotel with helpful staff and clean rooms. The room with doubles that we stayed in was actually more of a two room suite with a hideaway couch and two televisions, very nice for what is probably considered a 2.5 star hotel. The pool and spa were also nice.”

• I loved the layout of the room.
• I wished that it was closer to the downtown area.

“The Springhill Suites was a great place to stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the layout was perfect for a family. Very comfortable accomodations. My only wish was that it was closer to downtown. The cab ride was about $13 there (used service recommended by hotel staff) and $10 on the way home (caught cab on the street).”

“The hotel was ok. The layout of the room made it impossible to keep the temperature comfortable. It was a cold day and if you made it comfortable in the den area, then the bedroom area was horribly hot, vice versa. The smoke detector chirped but not regularly so as it could be an actual complaint. For example, Id just fallen asleep at 12:30 am and was awakened by a chirp. A minute or so later it chirped again. I got up about to call and complain and it didnt chirp again until 4:43 am. It chirped once, then not again while there. Just enough to be annoying. If batteries are changed yearly this doesnt happen. The continental breakfast wasnt all that great. The pastries were somewhat stale and hard. There were sausage patties and egg patties that were swimming in grease. Not at all appetizing.”

“The property is clean and safe, but there is no hot water at 7am. I asked downstairs, and they said it happens all the time "if too many people are showering at the same time". Since it's a business hotel on a weekday, I took that to mean that it happens every day at 7am. So get up at 6, or be late, or have a cold shower seem to be your only options. Do not stay here if you are expecting a hot shower.”

“I was expecting a dump, but I was shocked when we got to our room. The bed was awesome, and the kitchenette was totally unexpected. The only compliant was the lighting in the rooms was horrible. They use those energy efficient light bulbs that really stink.”

• Management and staff were very accommodating to my needs and request.

“Very clean and family friendly. Because it is in the heart of the city and close to expressways activities and attractions were easy to access. Staff was professional and eager to please as well as proficient in handling mishaps and errors. All employees were diligent, professional and service oriented in addressing issues pertaining to other guest behavior. There was a couple getting very romantic in the pool area with my children present. I reported the problem to the front desk and the issue was handled immediately without negative confrontation from all parties involved.”

• Very accommodating to our needs of 5 people.
• Small pool and did not get extra towels we asked for.

“Hotel was very nice and accommodated our needs well. We had traveled all day and were very tired. It was nice to end up in a comforting and very clean place that had an extra couch in our room for our 5th sleeper. We have stayed at Springhill Suites in the past and always love it there. Thanks! Just wish we would have gotten the extra towels we asked for, although they were very busy that night.”
